It was a birthday gift for my husband. I shared his Goodreads account in advance. I was very worried that he might get so many duplicates because he reads a lot. I must say, their book choice was awesome every time. He enjoyed every book they sent to him. It was happy for me as well to see him smile every month a little percale arrives for him!

Lovely company to deal with. I bought a bespoke 3 month subscription as a birthday present for my mum, they asked all about her favourite books and authors and sent her 3 books that she's loved. Some really interesting and unusual choices. Would definitely use again and would highly recommend.

I bought a six month package for my grand daughter Tillys birthday. It was the best present I could have bought her. The books were well chosen with her in mind . She loved receiving her nicely wrapped parcel through the post each month and ALWAYS set about reading it immediately.
My other grand daughter Isla will definitely be having a package for her birthday.
Excellent to deal with too.

I wasn't overly impressed with the 3 month subscription. Now that have received all 3 x books i don't think it is good value for money. I could of purchased the books online for a cheaper price.

My father bought this as a Christmas present for my daughter, in the first book it was supposed to come with a message within the book. This just came as a slip of paper that i assumed i had to add into the book myself, not exactly what i had in mind and hardly a keepsake. I was really disappointed with this.

I received an annual subscription to WBC from my brother for my 40th birthday last year and it's wonderful. I have been very impressed with the books I have received and given what an avid reader and book hoarder I am, I have been surprised and delighted that of the excellent books I've been sent none have been ones I've previously read. They've introduced me to a new favourite author, Iain Pears, whose other works I have gone on to gobble up. At the beginning of the month it is an absolute pleasure to come home from work to a beautifully packaged surprise book. In fact I have been so impressed with my experience that I have gone on to order personalised subscriptions for my nephew's 1st birthday and my mother-in-law's 80th, so good for all ages!

This is a great company! I have gifted book subscriptions to a variety of ages of friends and family and everyone has been delighted with the choice of books delivered! They are beautifully gift wrapped and arrive promptly on the due date. I now wish someone would gift me!!

I bought the subscription for my Mum who is a massive reader & likes quite a wide genre. My Mum has been overjoyed with the books she had received, all books that she hasn't read before (that was a huge concern that she would receive ones she had already read) and authors that she wasn't familiar with. I would definitely use again and this is a great present for those difficult to buy for.

Excellent books that are picked to match my preferences! Only one book so far that I already had and I was then given a replacement book. Customer service is very quick to answer!

My subscription to Willoughby Book Club was a gift to me from my daughter and it encouraged me to enrol my friend,too, as a birthday present. She was delighted to receive such an "original" gift and has had pleasure in the excitement of receiving a surprise book and the enjoyment of receiving a range of titles.
My own experience as a receiver has achieved a fantasatic effect.I have looked forward every month to receiving a new and varied book title.The surprise is exciting and I have enjoyed EVERY one of them and I have spent more time relaxing and reading, which has been therapeutic. I would recommend the Willoughby Book Club set up to anyone as the choice of titles can be selected pertaining to personal interests.
