Accommodation did not meet our expectations for multiple reasons.

Amazing day. A lovely lady Andrea shows me around and gave me some recommendations on what to start with & some food and cocktail suggestions. She was very attentive & popped to see me to see how I was getting on. Nothing was too much trouble & it made me feel special. The facilities are amazing, the neom de-stress massage wonderful, the food, pudding & drinks excellent. I’ll be back

We had a fantastic stay.
Everything had been thought of to help the stay be relaxed and enjoyable; nothing was a problem and always ready to help throughout our stay too.

They made it extra special and provided extra touches to be inclusive of all persons staying. ( birthday cake, balloons etc.)

Our family recently had the privilege of celebrating my father's 60th birthday at The Woodlands Estate in Cheddar, and it was, without a doubt, the most memorable experience we've ever had.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. Lisa and Summa were there to welcome us, offering a comprehensive tour of the property and ensuring we were comfortable and informed about all the amenities. Their hospitality set the tone for what would be an extraordinary stay.

The estate itself is a masterpiece. Nestled on the edge of the Mendip Hills, the property offers panoramic views of Cheddar Gorge and the surrounding countryside. The design is both luxurious and homely, with every detail thoughtfully considered.

The open-plan living areas are spacious and elegantly furnished, providing ample space for our family to gather and create lasting memories. The fully equipped kitchen, complete with top-of-the-line Neff appliances, made meal preparation a joy. The inclusion of a wine cooler and instant boiling tap added a touch of convenience and luxury.

The outdoor terraces are equally impressive. The lower terrace features a six-seater hot tub, perfect for unwinding under the stars. We also enjoyed games like table tennis and inflatable Twister, which added a fun and playful element to our stay.

Each of the four superking bedrooms is a sanctuary of comfort, offering stunning views and luxurious furnishings. The bathrooms are equipped with high-quality toiletries, robes, and slippers, ensuring a spa-like experience.

Celebrating my father's milestone birthday here was truly special. The serene environment, combined with the estate's luxurious amenities, provided the perfect backdrop for our family to come together and celebrate.

The Woodlands Estate is more than just a place to stay; it's an experience that rejuvenates the soul. We left with full hearts and cherished memories, and we can't wait to return.

We came for my Dads 60th birthday and it couldn’t have been more perfect.

Summer went above and beyond, she helped get cupcakes for us so we didn’t have to travel with them, even unpacking our shopping we got delivered to the house too..

The house itself was spotless and the decor was out of this world, everyone was fighting for their favourite bedroom 🤣

From start to finish it was faultless and we cannot wait to book again!

Luxury, Comfort, and Tranquility at Reservoir View

Our stay at Reservoir View in Somerset was an absolute dream. This luxury rental exceeded every expectation — a perfect blend of style, comfort, and natural beauty. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the stunning setting and the meticulous attention to detail throughout the property.

Every room was beautifully presented, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully equipped. The views over the reservoir were breathtaking — the perfect backdrop to a peaceful and restorative getaway.

What truly elevated the experience, however, were the hosts. Warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about hospitality, they made us feel incredibly welcome from the outset. Their care and commitment to guest experience really shone through in every aspect of our stay.

Our dog was also in heaven — the space, the fresh air, and the welcoming environment made it as much a holiday for them as it was for us.

Reservoir View is more than just a place to stay — it’s a place to unwind, reconnect, and enjoy a truly luxurious escape. I wholeheartedly encourage anyone considering a visit to get in touch and book — you won’t be disappointed.

We had the most wonderful time at Reservoir View! Lisa was welcoming from the day we arrived up until we left. She ensured we were comfortable without being intrusive. The house itself is a charming blend of modern amenities and unique interiors which have been thoughtfully designed. I often found myself lost in the view of the reservoir with a cup of coffee in hand. It was clean, spacious and a place where you can just switch off, relax and just be. The children loved it - especially the games room. Would 100% recommend.

Thanks to Lisa and the team we had a fantastic weekend celebrating a big Birthday. Fabulous property and location. Very luxurious and fully equipped. The weather was kind and the hot tub and decks we super. The welcome hamper was a nice touch . Thanks for a truly memorable time and hope to visit again.

Great house in a great location overlooking Cheddar with fabulous views and lots to do in the area. Went there with grown up adult family x 8. House had all the space and mod cons you’d ever need and the outside hot tub, table tennis and BBQ helped tick the boxes. If you’re looking for somewhere to go with a larger group you can’t go wrong with The Woodland Estate.

Reservoir View in The Woodlans Estate is a stunning house in a stunning location.

The views are incredible, sunsets are spectacular and staying there is the most magical experience.

The care and attention given to every little detail has been thought about and provided for to ensure you have the best time. And we did … best birthday ever.

The customer service is second to none. I only wish I had booked direct rather than through a holiday intermediary as the attention to detail, the care and consideration was truly excellent

We had a great time at the property. The house more than met our expectations. It was beautifully decorated with gorgeous views.

The hosts were awesome, arranging birthday decor and a private chef for the first night we stayed. The food was amazing and the chef was wonderful.

We would definitely stay again!

From the moment you arrive; before you even enter the property you are blown away by the breath taking views. Once inside you are met with the feeling that every single detail has been well thought out with luxury and beauty as the guiding principle. Personal slippers, robes, lush toiletries, ambiance, aromatic scents, open and airy spaces, large windows that perfect the light to view ratio and exceptionally comfortable yet visually appealing furnishings. This is the home of my dreams! Guests will not be disappointed! The only downside is leaving to return to reality!

How do I begin… the estate is wonderful - which is an understatement! The home looks better in person than the pictures show- which usually never happens!
The house has all modern amenities with a beautiful fully equipped kitchen. The entertainment/ sitting area is spacious and well appointed with beautiful decor!
Although the panoramic view of Cheddar is spectacular- the best surprise was the wild goats, who would visit every morning and evening! One evening in the hot tub, they were grazing 5 feet away, and were never bothered by us! Truly a memorable night! The village of Cheddar is a walk away with wonderful stores and pubs. We will definitely return to England and visit again!

Such an amazing property in imaculate condition with the most hospitable owners who made us feel so welcome. Any questions or help we needed the owners were always on hand!
We really didn’t want to leave .. the weekend went too quickly and we can’t wait to book in again.
The views from the property are stunning especially at sunset. The town in such a short distance away with cheddar gorge so close and amazing tea rooms.
We had such a lovely time and would recommend anyone to stay.

Everything was amazing from start to finish!! 2 great hosts met us promptly on arrival and showed us around and how to work everything..the house itself was absolutely fantastic, spotlessly clean every amenitie you can imagin!! Fantastic decor and all top of the range furniture & appliances!! the owners clearly have put a lot Of time effort and money in here. An absolutely stunning property set in the most beautiful grounds.
Recently visited the woodlands estate for a get away bank holiday weekend and the stay was incredible.
Lisa and Glen were perfect hosts. The house is kitted out with all the mod cons and Lisa has created a stunning, colourful interior.
Definitely a place to visit and we shall be coming back real soon.
