Terrible experience, AVOID AT ALL COST
I bought a chair on their website and before the delivery arrived, the reduced the price by 25%, so i refused the delivery and the parcle went back to them, i tried to contact them for a refund, but the phone goes to voice mail and no body answer the call, also tried to email them but there has never been a reply, a couple of weeks past now, still no contact/reply, no refund.

I ordered an item at over £100 on 26 July and received them mid August. The item was damaged and missing items (screws etc).

Despite sending photos and detail of the damage and missing items on multiple occasions, I only received a response from The Work Alley WEEKS LATER. They claim they will respond in two days, but have made no attempt to rectify the situation.

It’s now mid-September and I still have the faulty item, and no replacement/refund to talk of.

They have no customer service whatsoever, they don’t answer the phone and they won’t respond if there’s an issue. Avoid at all costs and find someone reputable. These guys are a joke.

Anyone else who has an issue, I’d recommend speaking to Citizen’s Advice Bureau, who will note the issues and refer The Work Alley to Trading Standards if there’s a case. They need to be held to account.

A disaster company to be avoided.

I'm going to be honest, after reading some of these reviews I was very dubious i would ever recieve anything, especially since 1 email I sent bounced. Alarm bells rang! It that worry wasn't warranted though. The chair arrived very quickly (9th Sept - 14th Sept) and exactly as described. Considering how cheap the chair was I wasn't expecting the highest of quality. I was wrong. Even considering ordering another for my partner. I'm very happy and somewhat relieved.

I ordered an office chair from the work alley without looking at trustpilot so when i saw the very mixed reviews on here I was really concerned. I have to say my fears were unfounded as the chair arrived within a few days and is exactly what i was looking for. I am really pleased with it. Not sure if I was just lucky but I can't fault them at all.

I am waiting for the delivery of my parcel for more than twelve days. It is useless after the communication with delivery company and seller, I am still keep waiting. When I ask for the refund, they will not reply your email. I even cannot leave my comment on their website.

This isn't really a review. However, after ordering a corner lamp I am slightly conerned, particularly after reading some of these reviews, that I wont get it. The company said it was on the way and sent me a Yodel tracking number. I followed it up and Yodel didn't recognise it. The website said there were no parcels linked to my given tracking number!
I'll let you know if the order arrives. Sadly, it doesn't look hopeful.

Amateur company! I emailed to inform them that they had charged us twice for an item. They wanted bank account statements to prove this. I have never had a company ask for bank statements, ever. A second item arrived that we didn’t order so I emailed them for return shipping details, as they advise to do on their website. They emailed back asking me to take photographs of the item. What? Why?
My elderly mum wanted the item so I have kept the second unwanted item and paid her £50 for it because she can’t afford £50 missing from her pension for something she didn’t even order.
I would advise to avoid this company.

Total SCAM! I ordered two chairs received one only. Ive written called numerous times with no response. I don’t know what to do. I’m out £120, this is completely unacceptable, it’s fraud, it’s stealing!

There is no way of getting through to the company. The phone number on the website is a mobile number and goes to vmail. Their support email comes back as undelivered and their tracking facility for their items doesn't work. Do not use this company!!!!

SCAM. Ordered the LED corner lamp. Paid more than £50 for it. It arrived after 4 weeks. It barely works, especially the cheap remote. The lamp doesn’t even display the light effects advertised on the website. Quality is atrocious, it looks like I paid £10 for it. Save your time and money and buy from Amazon.

So the chair arrived on time, is very well built and was a great price. BUT....it was purchased for my son, who is over 6 foot tall, and no matter how we position/adjust the office chair, he cannot use it as it is so uncomfortable and causes him pain. I am trying to get it sent back to them for a refund but all they seem to be doing is using stalling tactics. Chair is great but unsuitable, would give 5 stars for the build quality of the chair as I am sure it would be more comfortable for a shorter person. But only 1 star for the aftersales service as they seem intent on not wanting to give me my money back!

I placed an order for an office chair, it arrived within 5 days, well packaged, extremely good quality and comfortable. I don’t why some ppl are trying to damage its reputation by saying it is a scam. It is NOT a scam.

I got really worried reading the negative reviews. i bought a chair on Monday and had it delivered on Friday the same week and it was as advertised. Greta chair and price and although cant get through to telephone had no issues with delivery or quality. It may just be the guys running business are flat out and have no time for customer service.

Scam like structure and no support for N Ireland purchases £50 for. ‘International shipping’ hahaha

They even fake my advertise free uk and eu shipping yet N Ireland doesn’t count as either ! Avoid and go to ManoMano

I would give zero stars if this would allow me. Absolutely not recommended. There is no chance you will receive product you ordered. I ordered a chair received different chair and sent hundreds emails to ask for refund or replacement.It looks like scam.

Unable to speak to anyone about problem with footmassager

I bought a ceiling light from this company - it took 21 days to arrive.

When it did arrive there was no earth wire in the lamp - my understanding is that you aren't allowed to sell electrical goods in the UK without an earth wire. It seems that, as it could be unsafe to use I will have to buy another light completely.

In terms of the product itself, it was pretty cheap and considering I paid £70 for the light I would have expected much better quality.

They have a shiny website but the products themselves seem pretty bad. Don't bother with this company.

This is a fraudulent Company. Do not deal with them. We have placed an order for 2 chairs both of which were damaged and the response to the Customer was to offer a 10% discount. Then there were repeated demands to see visuals and reconstruct the faulty items, to the point where it was very clear we were being given the runaround. They have no intention of refunding Customers, however they will sell faulty and secondhand goods through their online store. Do not deal with this Company, please read other reviews!

I ordered a wall mounted folding chair for 120 Pounds. The chair is literally unusable as in the unfolded position it is less than 90 degrees to the backrest and therefore it is not possible to sit on it comfortably. There is no return process, you have to email their support address. The response I received was an offer of a 10% discount! Not sure how that solves the issue that the chair is unusable!
