I am a frequent high-end beauty shopper, but my recent experience with Cult Beauty (part of The Hut Group) has been appalling. I returned a pristine, unused foundation, only to be met with a "final de... See more

Can't get a refund
Took over 2.5 weeks for my order to turn up. When it finally did I wasn't home, so the courier dumped it on my doorstep and it was stolen. Currently in the process of the most complicated refund process i've ever gone through, feels like The Hut Group are trying everything in the power not to give me my money back. Will never be shopping with this company again
If I could give no stars I would
If I could give no stars I would. After a terrible experience a YEAR AGO they have now got Trustpilot to remove my review as I no longer have proof to prove I am not a liar! If poorly rated company can ask Trustpilot to remove my review to make themselves look better then how can I trust any reviews/ratings and not think other companies have done the same. I am NOT a liar and am so disappointed in Trustpilot for agreeing to remove an honest review. Whatever you do, do not use thg for anything. I'd also think twice about how much you trust the reviews/ratings you see on here......
Tried to remove my review
Tried to remove my review from 2014 but I can see they have done the same to numerous other people! Judging by the 1.1 average rating they’ve not improved since 8 years ago and the fact they’re actively trying to remove reviews shows just how dishonest a company they are.
SCAM!!!!
Was bought a £100 gift card and spent £30 of it. Went to buy more items but was told that it should have been used all at once and that they would not refund the £70 that they pocketed. ‘Which’ states that the company issuing the voucher should include any important terms at the point of purchase. The description when buying the gift card does not state that it needs to be used at once. When receiving the code via email, it also doesn’t state anywhere that it needs to be used at once. Absolute thieves of a company!!

Very helpful and engaging. Efficiently and clearly addressed my query. Thank You
Misleading promotions
The introductory offer code just don't work. Even after ploughing through the 'exceptions' I found that the codes didn't work.
THG formerly known as the hut group ia…
THG formerly known as the hut group ia an absolute disgrace.they treat temporary staff better than employees with 6 years service and every time you work overtime you wait 3 months to get what your owed .definitely the worst company in the country to work for
Order cancelled but refund not sent…
Order cancelled but refund not sent despite getting in touch and writing multiple times. Atrocious!
Really wish i could give zero stars as…
Really wish i could give zero stars as to be honest they dont even deserve 1 star. How on earth this company have continued to grow and make any profit is beyond me, maybe its the fact they act like modern day Fagins ripping off people their hard earned cash and then have their pathetic customer service staff send standard pre draft emails with the same rubbish that is along the lines of "the computer says no" sketch from Little Britain, in fact i wouldnt be surprised if thats where they got the idea from after dealing with this company. I used to do a subscription box and then spent more time chasing where the box was every month to the extent that it became a chore in subscribing. This time order placed last friday should have been delivered within 48 hours absolutely nothing. They keep emailing saying Hermes have the parcel and i have spoken to Hermes and they havent received the parcel. Bottom line is avoid like the plague or you too will be spending ages trying to get an order that you have paid for. Go somewhere else like Superdrug or Boots less hassle for sure
The absolute worst customer service…
The absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced. Will avoid all brands associated with them in the future.
READ ALL THE BAD REVIEWS PLEASE they are submitted by kind people to help you.
READ AND TAKE NOTICE.
THE HUT AND ITS SPINOFF COMPANIES LIKE COGGLES ARE LITERALLY AS BAD AS THE AWFUL REVIEWS SAY.
NEVER ORDER. SPEND YOUR TIME GOOGLING THE OWNER AND SEE HOW MUCH MONEY HE MAKES. AND THEN THINK HARD - do you want to get a non brand pink t shirt instead of what you thought you were ordering (LIKE ME) and then spend all your day trying to resolve it. BUT THEY DO NOT RESOLVE IT.
READ ! READ ! READ ! READ THE BAD REVIEWS.
NO PHONE LINES FOR ANYONE IN THIS COMPANY. WHY? ORDER AND FIND OUT.
DONT BUY FROM HUT GROUP
If there was a zero id put zero stars. Shocking customer service take the money dont despatch goods then don't respond to ANY communication, not even PayPal when trying to get refunds!!
Harassing fraudulent bully boy company
Where to start. They don’t like refunds they deny returns until you show a tracking so that doesn’t show honesty....so get tracking people. They take payments without consent and go into different accounts to steal that payment. They use chargeback as a weapon to close accounts when they should just simply refund but they act like selling laws don’t apply too them and flat out refuse any refunds and the harassment is real people they will close any account you’re associated with just because they have monopoly over distribution with certain companies and they will bare face have you shut down...AVOID
My last ever review of the Hut Group
My last ever review of the Hut Group
What an absolute shambles of a company; avoid these guys at all costs. An absolute nightmare to deal with and their customer service is shocking. I honestly mean no disrespect but some of the responses that I’ve received are confusing, very repetitive and in some cases make absolutely no sense!
Ive never seen a business with so many bad reviews; most saying the same thing.
Please avoid the Hut Group; yes great prices at times but loads of disappointment.
Some sort of governing body should investigate the way they conduct themselves.
After using the Hut Group for many years, I’ll be closing my account.
Shame but shocking service.
Hut - please do not message me apologising for the poor service and suggesting that I contact you to discuss further; you do absolutely nothing to rectify problems, that’s why you have so many.

They told me the price then a month later they email me and tell me they actually needed more money for it. Who does business like that?! D

Terrible service...But ok in the end
Terrible service...
Purchased a personalised Quality Street tin online, they took the money immediately yet have consistently failed to send out my order. I have contacted them many times and every time they say they will contact me when the order reaches 'dispatch process'!!!
They are a shockingly bad company to deal with, have zero respect for paying customers, lie in any response they do give and worst of all they take your money with no intention of ever fulfilling your order. In my book that is theft. Currently trying to contact ceo of The Hut to attempt to get my money back
***AVOID AVOID AVOID*** any dealings with this company unless you want to lose money, in which case I would suggest you donate to charity...
UPDATE - The order did arrive, albeit with a dented tin so I have upgraded my review to 3 stars - To recap, a very slow delivery, dented tin but the chocolates inside were as ordered

Wrong item sent, no customer service
Wrong item sent. Customer service number hard to find and just gives a recorded message saying they are open 8until 8 (clearly not) and to call back another time, then disconnects.
