Ford Farnborough

Ford Farnborough
An absolute fiasco. Vehicle booked in for recall (cambelt) - works not completed (01/04/22) . Booked in again - (checked that all parts were available 3 times including at the point the vehicle was checked in at the workshop). Vehicle dropped off a 07:30 26/04/22 only to be told at midday that parts are not available and work will not be completed again. Ford Farnborough now want to book the vehicle in for another two days to undertake the work despite the fact that Ford state the work should take 5 hours.
So far Ford have inspected the vehicle once (23/03/22) , had the vehicle on two separate occasions and have still not actually done any work.

Update: Collected the vehicle (with the work still outstanding this afternoon (26/04/22). Vehicle was with Ford @ 07:30 and I was assured that work started on the vehicle 'early' - vehicle recording shows it entered the workshop after 10:30 and was back in the car park at approx. 11:30. So another total day wasted for less than 1 hours 'work'.

A truly appalling company, unprofessional and childish mentality. Insist on calling me to solicit my custom even when previously informed I will never buy from them again.

Think Ford Farnborough poor service

How is this for a joke you buy a car two weeks ago and get told to take it back for a repair under warranty so I booked it in for this morning at 8am Two hours later I'm told it's not covered by warranty and they will not fix the issue 😂😂 then they tell me my car needs a new shock absorber and its covered by the warranty. My question is my door handle feel off so why was my car up on ramps and guys looking at my underside of my car! It's all a bit doggy in my eyes. You must think I'm a total clown. Just want an see what I'm doing next if it's not sorted out tomorrow morning.

Thinkford Bracknell stinks

Hey,
I don’t very often write moans, can’t be bothered normally. However, I’m making an exception for this.
Thinkford Bracknell’s service department absolutely stinks. I’m not being the big I am, however, some form of decency towards customers would be nice.
I have a 2020 ford ranger truck used as a car. The truck was 2 months old when a crack appeared in the windscreen. I did not hear a stone hit the windscreen or see a stone chip. However ford was not interested so I had to (via insurance) cop for the bill. This is a specialist windscreen that needs to have the sensors recalibrate, this took a couple of months to get fitted correctly. This week the trucks now 1 year 1 month old and we had very cold mornings. My windscreen will only defrost 1/2 the screen (its heated) and the air blower only blows on 1 side. I phoned thinkford Bracknell, got put through to the service department. I presumed the person I spoke to was in charge of the department as she called it her department several times. I was basically told by her ford Bracknell was not interested and I would have to pay £110 per hour for the investigation. This is what I’m struggling with, A 1 year old, £40k truck with, a ford part fitted by a ford recommend windscreen fitter, is suddenly out of warranty and they could not give a toss about their customers. I love the truck, but due to their dealers I’m not getting another one. December, Toyota here I come!

Shameful excuse for a franchise

Their Basingstoke office can't be bothered to even respond to queries through their website. Two times I tried. Their Bracknell location suspiciously disabled my dashcam when the car was just in for an oil change. The Wokingham location say they can't fit a Ford towbar to a Ford car.

Warranty not worth the paper it's printed on

Buying the car from Think Ford Guildford was fine. But don't bother with the extended warranty. I had a small issue with my car after 2 months and they said to bring it in to fix. But when I got there they said it wasn't covered under the warranty. A 30 mile round trip and 2 hours of my time completely wasted. Thanks

We were cold called by a salesman from Think Ford at Guildford offering a ‘good deal’ We were already thinking of changing our car and so we made an appointment for 11 o clock on the 23rd July. When we arrived the salesman seemed surprised to see us, he said a colleague had double booked and he was helping him, however he wouldn’t be very long. We waited for 40 minutes and then left. Extremely poor customer service

Total lack of profesionalism and efficiency

Total lack of profesionalism & efficiency, left hand didn't know what the left or right hand was doing. Had the car for a day and a half to quote for a broken cd player and look at and fix an ABS warning light (which was a simple plug in to the computer then replace a sensor on a wheel). Were going to charge £200 just for looking at it and £138 for fitting the £30 sensor. They dropped the £200 due to the sevice issues. I won't be going back.

Waste of my time

Booked car in under warranty. Start stop not working drivers seat moving and very annoying rattle somewhere in dash.
Kept car overnight and when i got it back everything exactly the same nothing was donw to my car. Waste of time. Wouldnt reccomend ford wokingham to anyone.

Disappointed at Newbury
I was eventually approached by a young man who opened the bonnet of the car.
There was no information about the car whereas at most dealerships there is display card in front of each car. It is not an acceptable excuse to say that the car has just arrived. The poor chap couldn't tell me the cc. of the engine!
Management would benefit from a kick up the backside. First impressions count and could easily lead to the loss of sales - in this case c.£28,000.

Very disappointed with this Ford…

Very disappointed with this Ford Dealer. FOMOCO should take note of these reviews. Expressed an interest in a car at the Farnborough branch. To commence with I was referred to as Mr White. Once my interest waned due to a poor valuation on my PX the tone changed. Any further communication it was Hi. I was prepared to bring my car on an 80 mile round trip to see if the original valuation could be improved, they were not interested to view. I contacted the Guildford branch and the valuation was again below what was fair. I was told I would receive a call once the manager had been contacted to see if the valuation could be increased, no call was received. This company is not interested in customer service only in getting a deal which suits them. The car I was interested in has been on the forecourt for weeks and was reduced last week because they cant sell it. There is a strange psychology within this Group1 Automotive company. I cannot recommend them.

Brought a car a while back

Brought a car a while back, and I have to say I’m happy with the car. The sales team lacked in good customer service, probably wouldn’t have brought here if I found the same car elsewhere. Definitely didn’t feel valued

Reading sales Fantastic. Really helpful and problem resolved. Guildford willing to help but repair unable to go ahead due to parts but service from staff really good and friendly .
Attitude and Customer Service at Farnborough my Local dealer lacking. A Care less attitude from the beginning. Knowing their faults I need to plan ahead for service and MOT as on a service plan. I’d never use them for a repair or problem again. Never a courtesy car available and one day without a car has turned into more. I can’t be without a car but that’s my problem. Never had a problem with Trust Ford the 8 years I was with them .... looking for an alternate service plan provider when current plan runs out

Thinkford Bracknell very expensive poor service

High price, poor service, and absolutely no consideration for customers who have to come from far away because they closed their Reading branch and find themselves stranded in Bracknell from 8am while they look at their car "during the day when they get the chance" (and that's WITH an appointment).

Usless bunch of inept clowns, phone up ask for a CV replacement fitted cost including part - unhelpful unfriendly woman in service says "you've got the wrong dept you want parts" send me back to the switch board - explain the situation and get passed back to service to explain again about what i'm looking for - "hold on says the guy i'll get a price fitted" Parts picks up the phone tells me the price of the part ask for the fitted cost "oh can't do that we're parts you need to speak to service" REALLY?????? tell you what i'll drive down there an walk between departments so i can get a fitted cost - business taken elsewhere!!

Think Ford Wokingham - AWFUL

I changed the battery on my key and didn't know how to 're sync' it with the car.

They were completely unhelpful apart from telling me that my central locking system had probably gone faulty, based on zero evidence, and suggested that I pay £100+ to have it checked.

This was the garage I bought my car from.

Disgusting. I will never buy from them again.
