THINK FORD WOKINGHAM

Spent my Saturday afternoon at this dealership test driving a Ford Active X with my son. Rang ahead so that Barry knew we were coming - greeted by another sales person who informed us Barry was busy. Waited over 30 minutes for Barry to finally show up. Test drove the car we were interested in purchasing along with a similar model to do the comparison. Left the dealership letting Barry know that we would be in touch. Called the dealership at 17:20 (same day) letting Barry know that we wanted to go ahead with the purchase. Our call was not returned.

Called twice the following day - still no response.

Called first thing Monday morning only to find the car had been sold the previous day!

Won't be visiting this dealership again....

Long overdue review

Long overdue review. Used to use them. Always let down. Two years running booking in for MOT with weeks of notice. Arrive on the day and was told no courtesy car available. Service poor. Didnt care. Emailed complaint and no response. So obviously value their customers NOT!
Rude and useless

Think Twice Ford

I would definitely Think Twice before ordering a Ford. My new fiesta that supposedly needs servicing every 18k had a warning at just over 12k that the service was due and oil life had gone. Far short of the 18k.

Basingstoke Think Ford said the only was was to pay for a service and they have know the service warning to come on at 5k.

They tried to tell me it is the way the car is driven. I have since been looking into this and it seems a common issue. Looks like Ford can do this and get away with it blaming a sensor!

I would avoid Ford if I were you and would not recommend Ford to anyone.

Don't even bother!

This company is unbelievable! I am so angry.

I went in to the Guildford showroom yesterday to look for a new SUV (or equivalent) was not greeted on arrival and totally ignored while I looked around the show room, I must have been there 15 minutes or more and no one even approached me to ask if I needed any help or even to say that they were busy but would be with me soon. I eventually just walked out, I saw a car that I was interested in in the lot outside and went to look through the window, it had graphics down the side so I knew that it belonged to that showroom, as I was looking into the locked car the car unlocked, someone came towards me from the showroom, collected a bag from inside the car, didn't say a word and then went back inside!
I have a background in the car industry, as does my family so I know how these things 'should' work, if you are trying to sell someone a brand new car on a dingy January afternoon you offer a friendly smile, a welcoming greeting and an offer of help or explanation that I may have to wait a few minutes, now I hate to think that people in the auto industry are still sexist but I believe that it probably didn't help that I was a women on my own looking around. If they can't be friendly in the sales department (when that is their job!) imagine what the rest of the company are like - service department, faults etc.
Well huge mistake Ford Guildford, you just lost out on a sale and any future sales from my family and friends, it takes nothing to be polite.

Booked my vehicle in at Thinkford…

Booked my vehicle in at Thinkford Wokingham for a faulty airbag sensor (under warranty) and the cars first MOT test. So they MOT the car first and fail it on the airbag fault, in this day and age all the cars details are available online and will now always show that it failed its MOT. Now this PROBABLY wont affect the cars resale value but will it affect the way the car is viewed? I dont know. But it would be nice if this company actually cared about its customers interests. It just feels as though they just throw it through the workshop as quickly as possible without thought to the customer. Very disappointing.

Think Ford Bracknell

Generally speaking, I try to stay well clear of Ford dealers, due to the poor customer service, and workmanship I experience when using them.

My Sister bought a new car from Think Ford Bracknell and had a good experience.

My sister suggested, to give Think Ford Bracknell ago for servicing.

I own an MK3 Focus RS and have now used this dealer 3 times.

Carry out diagnose check for head gasket issue
Replace head gasket
Carry out the first service

I'm pleased to say, the service and workmanship have been good.

I haven't been able to find any damage to my car while it's been in there care.

The car is washed to a good standard for a dealer.

The guy's behind the desk are friendly and helpful.

The courtesy cars were brand new

Poor sales experience

Poor sales experience, being in sales myself I was supprise to see how arrogant and abrupt the salesman was. I took a test drive, vehicle drive was fine car up for 24k used with 16k miles, after test drive noted cracked window and several large chips in paint right down to metal almost like it had been attacked with a centre punch, spoke to the salesman about this said I would consider it but not at 24k and made an offer atmited it was low but hey let's haggle over price he seem uninterested in even talking about it disappeared out back to get warranty paperwork and tried adding 2k to the pice 26k now even with the faults at this point I had had enough and left there was no counter offer made other than the extra 2k for the extras they were frankly just needed as the vehicle still has warrant from manufacture till 2021.

Basicly if you don't want finance and 2k worth of extras they don't want to know 10% Apr on the finance when I can get a loan at 3% confirmed and money ready to go and I told him this.

Best bit the car has been on the lot for 3 months plus as not taxed since March and it's now July reg change soon guy depreciation will kick in and the price will go down anyway more that what I was willing to pay now if only he was willing to haggle.

P.S car advertised with silver alloys looking much better than the black ones that were on it when I looked and when I asked about it I was given some bumf that someone was buying it and they refused the wheel and painted black but then they couldn't get the finance through for them. Utter bull and blatent lie no company would do any work til it's a golden sale and signed for. Was also told it cost them 20k Plus vat so they couldn't budge as only making £250 on it bit of simple math 20k+20% vat 24k so that would be a zero so I find that a complete lie bad bad bad salesman.

Got my new Ford from dealership in Basingstoke. Happy with it so far. Only grumble is I was told it had automatic wipers. But it doesn't. Not the end of the world. Guess I should have checked.
