Bad bad bad for repairs,every time I…

Bad bad bad for repairs,every time I call for an emergency repair like today they said is not an emergency and they book you an appointment in few days,or you call and they don’t book you the appointment and you wait like stupid for them to come and when you call back they said is no appointment book for a job.
Today 21/3/24 i call far a window handle repair and that my window is not closing properly and the night is cold,the wind come through the window and is not an emergency,so if I’m in the kitchen and my kid is going upset and open the window and something happens is my fault because their not able to fix their 💩houses.when I moved here the house was looking like an animal stable and I made from that a properly house to live in investing lots of money,but is not worth,so yeah,I’ve had lots of trouble with Teertheen group specifically with antisocial behavior where they don’t even bother.

Very difficult to sort things out with…

Very difficult to sort things out with them, I have been trying to sort my bill out for the service charges on my property since September 2023 still no answer.
Can not understand why we have been charged for the electricity on the communal entrance? When both flats across the road which are leasehold the same as me have never paid for this item.
I could do with a good contact in your office so I can discuss these changes as I am a disabled pensioner and I am finding difficult to pay these charges which seem to be getting higher every year.
The first few years where okay until thirteen group took over.

Find it very difficult to get answers…

Find it very difficult to get answers from thirteen group, been trying to sort out my service charges for the last 6 months now.
I can not believe that you have to pay for the emergency lighting for the shared entrance.
Could do with a contact of somebody who can help me.

Don't buy a shared ownership house with them

As stated by the comment below, this company is absolutely useless. You call up they tell you one thing and then 1 day later they have changed their minds. After 1 year they do not do anything.

Never known a company like this

Never known a company like this. Real hassle to get repairs done and when they eventually do come out they actually make it worse. Customer service absolute waste of time they don’t even book in repairs youve rang up about and never hear anything back. Only way to get some sort of correspondence or contact is to make a complaint even then that department are terrible. Tell you a load of lies about how they will rectify it and then don’t do it and you hear nothing again. Just made a complaint (again) and they respond by telling me the date and time of a repair I’d literally just booked over the phone that had absolutely nothing to do with it. Absolutely useless. I’d keep well clear of this company they fill all there properties with drug dealers drug addicts and party houses one by one it gets worse and worse and worse god knows how they’re working there application process i will be leaving this company and property as soon as possible. I’d rather go private and pay higher rent.

Thirteen are a disgrace I'm disabled…

Thirteen are a disgrace I'm disabled and have a disability toilet down stairs as I can't get upstairs quick with out help the toilet was constantly filling with water put a repIr in and got a date for 19th march 2023 over 2 month I called to complain about this and kept been told that's the earliest date so I kept calling and spoke to a supervisor who put the job as emergency plumber came out at 9pm Friday 12th Jan he was in property for 1 min said all seals are bust and turned the water of to the toilet and said someone would come out Saturday 13th Jan to repair called to see what time they would be coming and was told the contractor that came are closed today so would put on emergency job for tradesmen from thirteen to come today 30 min later got call say they wouldn't be coming today as they don't have the parts and not emergency as water turned of im disabled and the toilet has a bio bidet on to assist me with toilet needs I don't have some one with me 24/7 to assist me getting up stairs so will have to pee myself thirteen leaving me with no toilet and vulnerable the call centre person was very rude and asking lots of questions why i couldn't get up stairs all this is on your computer in front of you she then said I should be in a house if I can not get up stairs thirteen don't even no what parts they need to repair the toilet as no one been to see the make and problem with toilet just loads of bull s__t as normal from thirteen people pay rent and thirteen won't do repairs last time waited 4 month to get window repair if this is not fixed by Monday 15th I will get a plumber to come fix and send thirteen the bill leaving disabled person with no toilet

My friend has had a gas leak in the…

My friend has had a gas leak in the boiler.and had thirteen out of ours service and just looked like he was not interested.at all thirteen are a, absolute joke phoned. northern gas and they did some much they could do but told us to phone thirteen.and now there are coming out within 24 hours no hot water or heating and person on phone was clueless avoid at all cost

Is it right when moving into a thirteen home with a new born takes 4 days for the gas to be turned on. Don't think so.

Thirteen don't care

The thirteen group have left all tenants at turner court Hu1 2rd with no TV signal for 5 days and nothing has been done to repair it. People have rang and reported it. Customer Services say its being treated as urgent!! And its STILL NOT FIXED!!

Shocking

Absolutely shocking. Don't know where to start. I could write a book. Shared ownership. Paying service charges and it's taken years and lots of my time to complain about work not getting done but getting charged for it. Guttering still leaking after reporting it over 5 years ago. Iv give up. Still leaking and getting worse. Another winter is approaching. Scaffolding in wrong place. Then not taken down for months. Garden maintenance issues going on for years. Not getting done but getting charged for it. Cleaning issues going on for years. Still getting charged for work that was not done. Rude clueless staff accusing you of complaining when no one else in the block does, when
they have. Emails ignored. Staff accusing you of lying. This has gone on for years. Very stressful 😞. They get away with it because they are big and getting bigger. Shared ownership, funds building more social housing. We see nothing of it. It was meant to be affordable but totally miss sold. We pay for everything but are still treat like tenants. The government really need to sort this out. Please please don't have anything to do with Thirteen. It will ruin your life!

Reference

3 of my neighbors are Thirteenth Group’s tenants AND they are drug-dealers and very aggressive. They affected the safety of the area.
All is because Thirteen Group didn’t assess them thoroughly and didn’t ask them for a reference. Just, they made tendency agreement. As from the day, they moved in, police involved several times. They ruined our neighborhood.
Many decent people are in temporary accommodations, but Thirteen provided houses to some criminals.

I started getting bullied by people…

I started getting bullied by people egging windows hacking every app started on YouTube live streams ice posiedon network they used this company when mum was bidding for property's they deny every house bungalow bid on then they give us property knowing mum gonna accept it because they watching through cam recording audio then get in house and t on my door and three on bathroom door house filled with spiders same as insults from hackers same as them placing Spiderman everywhere my mum got I'll with sepsis when she got here she had cancer they also had spiders in house never seen before they pure red legs body and greyish bulb so why all that link to them because they abuse people in this area they also went on about mold throughout all of it and that was last time with this company can't go back further it been seven to six years been getting abused gov involved and police they use TV to mock people u care about and threaten u through virgin media and sky q

Refuse to honour legal warranty

Bought a house from them and they refused to honour the 2 year legal Builders guarantee despite seeing the faults themselves in their inspection.

Staff told me one thing on phone, then changed it. Had to go to NHBC for Compliance Issue. Others on estate gave up

Avoid this company.

I went in to a shared ownership with Thirteen and wish I had seen a lot of the reviews that are about.
They have no professional bones within them, no want to contact you and right their wrongs.
Its the second or third time someone from Thirteen has called me up accusing me of something only to find out that they have got the wrong house. No follow up phone call afterwards to say 'yep I definitely got the wrong house'. A request was put in for a manager to call me but ignored. This is three weeks on now and could have been sorted if they were professional and got in touch like requested.
The last time she call me by mistake it was for a different town. Basic checks are not getting made and silly mistakes are.
I would avoid this company like the plague. There is too many issues that they are avoiding.
The best is that they have filed a complaint for me with out even speaking to me or taking a statement. Well...we know which way that decision will go!

Bought shared ownership home with them…

Bought shared ownership home with them moved in. Brand new property various defects. Both builder and thirteen ignore all communication with them about defects nothing gets done. One defect is major flooding down side of property. They have also messed up the rent account. They have said I owe them money when I don’t it was paid on completion then have the account in arrears because they changed the rent ammount without giving me a letter or any notice that it was happening but they didn’t change the direct debit to new ammount either so took old anmount and said I hadn’t paid the difference I have complained about this issue and 1 month in they are still looking into it rediculous. And they think I have to chase them all the time. I will be taking legal action against them. Avoid at all cost ls u will be selling up very soon

Rude and unprofessional

This is a company filled with rude, unprofessional and unhelpful staff where they tend to do what they like with zero repercussions and this includes a large and varied selection of their staff just generally being miserable and clearly showing they are not interested in dealing with you unless it's to their benefit.

Upon researching the company I have found numerous claims of people having issues with the staff which instead of being greeted with a cheerful, polite and respectful manner they were greeted with minimal words and a very unhappy attitude to do the job they are paid to do, with multiple occasions the jobs are not even being finished and to a below satisfactory standard.

If you happen to have any run ins with this company I would suggest avoiding their staff as much as possible and using a third party source to deal with them if available as it's a struggle to get work out of them at the best of times.

There are multiple reasons why I wouldn't recommend this company but for now I will end it here to avoid creating a novel length explanation.

If anyone doesn't believe this review, you are more than welcome to deal with them. But other than that, thank you for reading.
