Thomas Cook India Ladakh premium customized tour for 2 adults in the month of May 2022 was disastrous. This has happened despite repeated following for reconfirmation before the tour. Callous attitude. One should be cautious about glamorous publicity. They only mislead. Even after reporting mishandling, their attitude was disgusting.

I would advise never book with thomascook. They don't listen to the customers and say a bunch of lies. I had recently booked a package Charismatic Ladakh with Thomas cook for June 21 2022. We were assured that this would be a group of 10 people and we would be travelling by a tempo traveler. We being a group of 3 adults didn't want to travel with 2 other adults in an Innova and we had made it clear to them. At the time of receiving the travel vouchers, we were assigned to a group of 5 people with an Innova. Even on repeated requests and even our willingness to pay extra for a separate vehicle, the answer we get from them is that they can't do anything about it. They are not willing to make any efforts to make the trip enjoyable for us. I would recommend go with a local travel agent rather than Thomas cook who will at least listen to you.

Experience was bad, I have been following up on my card activation and even after 24 hrs i am been transfered from team to another and to brand. Their support was pathetic, On speaking one of their support agent whose name was Nikhil Singh, He mentioned he cannot help and only brand can help, Upon asking to connect me to his manger ( Yeshvi Modi), he mentioned she is not available to connect.

No body is their to take the owner and they are just routing the customer who have trusted their brand for the forex needs from one person to another. i urge people to not use their service for any forex needs or any International travel

The tour overall was okay. My tour started on 30 May 2018 from Paris, France and ended on 10 June 2018 in Germany. I had a good experience on tour including food, hotels. Everything was quite good.
Our tour manager Mr Abhijit Pradhan was not a bad person.
Although his knowledge of all the places we visited is good. He was always with a group from a morning at breakfast till we finish our dinner.
I thank Thomas cook and tour manager, Mr Abhijit, for such a good experience.

Everything is good but my thinking is that female person are given special importance but gents travelling alone are neglected because when ladies buy expensive ladies items Thomas Cook gets commission from that. They neglect solo travellers and behave badly with them.

The BIGGEST Online tour scammer I have ever experienced in my 35 years. I got to know about this fraud company from newspaper and approached them for a vacation to Dubai for 5 nights. They have sent me an attractive proposal and promised to cover everything and called FULLY LOADED PACKAGE Including Breakfast and Dinner and charged me 1.4 Lakhs only for ticket, stay in a 3 star hotel and some useless tour which was absolutely different from the proposed one.

The WORST thing is these cheap guys never shared the travel vouchers like actual itinerary until my travel date. So it's quite natural, you wont get time to review the details. People, if you are new to travel or first time traveling somewhere.. whatever the situation is PLEASE DO NOT CONSIDER OR THINK ABOUT THOMAS COOK AT ALL. They will LOOT YOU and CHEAT YOU from every angle of your tour. You can think of local operators for effortless travel experience.

😡😡😡😡I travelled to maldives from 17/01/21to 20/01/21 and stayed at Hardrock resort of maldives. Packages done by Mr. Nishit from thomas cook harzratganj lucknow branch. When we reached to male airport no one was there for entertain me as per Thomas Cook policy. Even hardrock hotel management didn't have any prior confirmation of my arrival. (Unhone meri booking ko hi deny kr dya tha) . After that I tried call to nishit and his team first they didn't respond. Then after told me to give sometime then call me back. But till now no one called me back. I talked wilth hotel management and sorted out the things. They have very irresponsible behaviour, poor services and management also. I was very disappointed with the service of thomas cook. I don't want to recommend any one who wants to travel through thomas cook. Thank yo

I wish I had read the responses here a few months ago. My aged parents saved up their pension & booked a holiday to New Zealand with Thomas Cook India during early April 2020. Covid & the govt. of India’s shutdown ruined their plans. From the end of April 2020, my parents have moved heavens to get a response from Thomas Cook on the status of their money. The responses were always evasive, claiming the tickets were non-refundable and they would not get any money back. Finally, we contacted Singapore Airlines (the airline my parents were booked to fly) who confirmed that the tickets were refunded in FULL on 29 April 2020 itself. Thomas Cook deliberately hid this information from us. Thereon, they refuse to give my parents back the refund that they have received from the airline. Effectively, they are in custody of our funds without delivering any service - this is day light robbery. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH THOMAS COOK, THEY ARE A ROGUE COMPANY WITH FRAUDULENT PRACTICES.

Please read this review before booking your dream holiday with SOTC India. Your money is not safe with SOTC India.

Booked our second overseas holiday package with SOTC. Paid up front, as asked, to secure the booking.
During the early days of covid 19, during strict lockdown in India and overseas, and after me following up on the status on of our tour, I received standard canned message from SOTC that they were only confirming tour status for people travelling within 14-30 days. So I respected their request, only to be told later (~2 months before posting this review) that our tour (departing mid june2020) is cancelled but a refund is NOT possible. Absolutely devastated. The stress and anxiety caused financially and emotionally by SOTC is greater than whats caused by covid 19. To deal with this company ignoring our requests and complaints for refunds is very stressful.

We are being encouraged to take a credit of our money paid and travel against our health and safety.

I have raised complaints for the past 1 month+ to my local(city) SOTC representatives, regional(state) SOTC representatives and also to the country head of customer service and even to the head & president of luxury travel in India. Not a single response from the head of customer service. No resolution even after escalation to country head. Everyone's gone quiet.

I've come to know a lot of tour and travel company recently who've stepped up and taken very good care of their customers during this crisis. Earning goodwill and offering great customer experience in times of need. I have a list of of these providers, so get in touch if you want to engage travel companies where your money is safe . I missed this due-diligence before booking mine. I recommend you all do this due-diligence.

SOTC has awesome customer service to book your holiday - Exceptionally poor post booking.Not worth the stress dealing with… An absolute disgrace.

Very rude customer care, there is no co ordination between staff and Indian website is really pathethic, Refunds are literally impossible, Avoid Thomas cook for domestic tours and travels
