Daniel is Amazing! Would love him to look after all my let properties because he is super responsive, goes above and beyond and is hugely personable. He acts as if they were his own properties and knows each one in and out! After a plumbing issue with my property, Thornley Groves helped throughout the process of rehousing the tenants and organising repairs. Its property relationship manager (Daniel Garlick) contacting me with updates throughout the process.

Their friendly staff and expedient updates helped alleviate the stress and difficulty at this time. It’s only when something goes wrong with a property, that you realise how important it is to have a good management company.

Daniel Garlick has been a fantastic agent for me for years - he is responds to queries and issues in a timely fashion, is always accessible and helpful, and is willing to look into a variety of options for me as a landlord.

We have had issues with communication, due to the size of the company and the number of different departments. Thornley Groves have managed my property since July 2024. Chloe Jewell is my personal property manager who is always extremely caring and professional. She returns any calls quickly and is reliable and efficient.

Although only having recently taken over as my Property Manager, Gemma has been responsive and proactive in dealing with issues. I’m certainly pleased that all the maintenance and repairs are on track and that’s down to Gemma pushing it along and getting the contractors locked in. Gemma is definitely ‘building peace of mind!’

Transfer from McDonnell & Haydock went smoothly, thanks to the continuity provided by Daniel Garlick. He has provided good liaison with colleagues and always conveys the tenants needs promptly. The sale of one property was well handled by Kirsty Challinor in 2025.

I have had Thornley Groves managing my property for almost 5 years now. The experience has been consistently excellent. The team has been professional and supportive throughout, and Daniel Garlick — who manages the property — has been especially impressive, helpful, and easy to work with. He is quite skilful in ensuring that a fair balance in the landlord-to-tenant relationship is maintained. For example, he is able to modulate inordinate demands by a tenant while also ensuring that the tenancy arrangement is of a high standard. It is a good service for both the landlord and the tenant.
I have had help with ensuring that the property is kept in good condition with periodic property inspections and reports. When repairs are required, I get help with quotes from their database of competent contractors.
And yes, I had tenancy change within the 5 year period. The experience could not have been smoother.
Overall, I genuinely appreciate the smooth and reliable service.
