Threadeo will charge you for services it does not perform.

This vendor provides a variety of services to the legal industry, including the syncing of a certified deposition transcript with a video from that deposition. The sync process is necessary for further use of the video recorded deposition.

For reasons not clear, the Threadeo platform can strip the audio from the video during the upload process. Without the audio, Threadeo is unable to perform the sync.

Certainly, things can happen, and many companies roll out services that are not quite ready for prime time. But unlike most other companies, Threadeo actually charges you to perform the video sync that it didn't perform. Stay away from this company.
