Our garage door lock and latching mechanism became disconnected, so we couldn’t get in and the door was completely shut and would not budge.
A quick post on the Towcester Recommendations page and Through the Keyhole Locksmiths came up as the people to get us out of our jam.
As they are a local company, they came round within an hour and got it open and put the linkage mechanism back together. Great service and gave us confidence they knew what they were doing. Highly recommended and added to our list of trusted trades.

Only messaged yesterday today got my garage door sorted, we thought we needed a new lock, but Darren sorted it so we didn't need one, very polite very helpful, very good price, Darren went out of his way to help us, will definitely use again, and 100% recommend

Had to use these guys twice in a couple of days at different locations. Arrived within an hour on both occasions, excellent professional service.

Darren has been out to us a few times now. Fixed door handles broken and also replaced window latches. Always on time and pleasant manner and the guy knows his stuff

A big big thank you to Through The Keyhole! They’re an amazing company and 5 stars are honestly not enough. My Mum had a fall and couldn’t get up but unfortunately had left her key in the door which meant we couldn’t get into help her. This company were fantastic and were so understanding of the urgency of the situation and were with us in less then five minutes. It then took him less then five minutes to give us entry to the house so we could get my mum the help she needed and all without breaking the lock! I honestly can’t recommend this company enough, they truly helped us in my Mum’s hour of need and I can’t thank them enough.

Darren is so lovely! From the initial consultation to the visit to fix the patio door lock, he was super polite, knowledgeable and got the issue sorted really quickly. Would happily recommend.

We had a Locksmith come out and replace a broken lock within less than a month the new lock they fitted failed, so we got through the keyhole out instead, Darren then replaced the lock again for a much better price then the first locksmith and we've no problems since! Darren arrived very very quickly and had sorted us out within minutes, would definitely recommend and will be using again if we ever have anymore lock problems.

Darren was recommended to me through another service. He did not dissapoint! My mum locked herself out and he came from daventry to Northampton within 30mins. Unlocked the door and fit a new device to make sure it wouldn’t happen again. Professional, reliable and honest. Did not cost the earth.Exactly what you would hope for in a locksmith. I have phoned Darren last week out of hours after safety of our home was compromised.

Absolute excellent experience, I was in a complete panic and worried as I had locked myself out of the house with the keys in the lock so no way of getting in. Darren and Jen turned up within 5 minutes of calling them and Darren had managed to get in within minutes, I honestly couldn’t believe it. He also changed the locked so this wouldn’t be able to happen again.

Honestly if you need a Locksmith these are who you call friendly and so fast and know exactly what they are doing.
