TERRIBLE customer service/They made it right
TERRIBLE customer service. After purchasing 2 beds with pillow boards and nightstands, I mistakenly ordered 2 bolsters for the pillow board. I mistakenly ordered the wrong color. After emailing customer service, they stated they were on sale and non returnable. No where on the products page did they say final sale. Will not be purchasing the dressers as I planned. Company just lost a $5000.00 sale.
After many emails and voice mail, they have accepted the return.
Amazing + Proactive Customer Service
We purchased a bed frame and pillow headboard a few years ago. I recently wanted a change in color of the pillow headboard, and I remembered that they are interchangeable. I went online and ordered a different color. Shortly after placing my order, I got an email from their customer service (Concierge team) advising that they had checked my prior order history and that they have upgraded their pillow headboards and that the new pillow headboard cover I had just purchased is not compatible with the old board that we have. They gave me a couple of different options to address this and were super helpful in finding a resolution so I didn't get stuck with a cover that doesn't fit our model of headboard. We love our frame bed anyway, but this is just another reason to purchase from this company.
Expedited delivery
My previous review was 2 stars but they came through for us. Thuma expedited delivery of a replacement since one of the boxes never arrived. I appreciate their assistance in completing our order.

Broken when arrived. Customer service is email only. Said they’d send out a replacement. I had to reach out because they didn’t, said they’d send a replacement, they didn’t. Been trying to reach out for a while now with no responses.
Extremely bad delivery and cusotmer service
I have placed multiple orders with Thuma and had the exact same experience each time. The shipping times stated on the website are not accurate at all, and you're left waiting weeks longer than stated with no communication on the status of your order until you reach out to them. I paid for premium delivery each time and had equally bad experiences with the delivery partner, Deliveright. They do not attempt to reach out to schedule final delivery until you prompt them. On my first order, they called me the day before they wanted to schedule delivery, to which I said that was too short notice for me to schedule time off work and was it possible to pick a different date? They told me no and that they would call me when the next available delivery date was available. They called me a week later with the exact same option: scheduling for the next day with no option to pick a later date. I final received an automated call another week later that allowed me to pick a delivery date. Overall, for the price you pay for their goods, delivery and customer service is a complete joke. I placed a second order a few months later hoping that the first experience was just a one off. I'm having the same issues with this second order. I recommend spending your money elsewhere.

They’re the worse they never fix any problems. The leg broke & to make matters worse their pillow head gets dirty if you wash it. I contacted customer service they take 10 years to even reply and never help. I hate thuma I swear to god worse company ever they wont get a dime from me or anyone I know.
Extremely POOR customer support
Near ZERO customer support. No phone access. Here is an excerpted email response 11 days after they took our money but have given any hint of promised shipping or delivery. (Oh, yeah, they said they had three in stock ready to ship)

Terrible Delivery and Assembly Experience – Never Again
I am beyond disappointed with my experience with Thuma. For $1,500 worth of furniture, I expected a premium product and service. Instead, I received an overwhelming number of heavy boxes that weren’t delivered to my apartment door. I had to carry six bulky, unwieldy packages up to my unit on my own.
The assembly process was equally frustrating. There were so many parts to deal with, and the instructions were far from intuitive. For furniture at this price point, I expected a simpler setup or at least some form of assistance offered.
Brands like Article offer far better delivery and assembly services for less cost—they bring furniture into your home and even remove the packaging. Thuma fell drastically short, and I will never buy from them again. Save your money and look elsewhere for furniture that delivers on its promises.

The product packaging, messaging, instructions, etc are so incredibly disjointed..
This review has nothing to do with the product which is still not set up since one of the four boxes is lost.
The company invests in marketing only. Not a dime in customer service.
*UPDATE: Once all the boxes were here, putting the bed together came fairly easily. It is high quality, no doubt. The company just needs a Customer Experience team to match.

I ordered the bed two weeks ago, and it has not shipped yet, despite the website promising shipping in 3-5 days. So far I have only received canned "it will be shipping soon" responses when I inquire on the status of the order.

I run a B&B and was looking for 5 sets of furniture & accessories. I had a lot of questions and wanted to speak with someone live. They refused so I decided no way am I getting in the middle of such an operation that doesn’t have instant customer & easy customer service.

My order arrived incomplete, despite a confirmation email claiming incorrectly that everything had been delivered. Customer service has been unresponsive and I see no mechanism to resolve.
I can’t speak to the quality, since I lack the requisite parts to assemble my purchase, but the lack of responsiveness is inexcusable.
True customer service
I purchased the bed and mattress. The bed is beautifully made and easy to assemble. I had some trouble with the mattress and Thuma stood by their product and replaced it. Their customer service is as advertised. I recommend them happily!

Ordered the king size frame in natural color tone.
Upon opening my order half of the delivery was sent in walnut and half in the color I had ordered. I understand mistakes happen but my new king mattress included setup and haul away service. Because of this mix up my new mattress could not be set up upon delivery and is currently on the floor. Not sure how I am going to move a king size mattress on my own so this has caused quite a headache and inconvenience. I also scheduled off work to meet the delivery folks for the bed setup which should have been seamless if the correct frame had arrived.
Currently waiting on the new correct color frame to arrive.
I was clearly not expecting a large discount or anything but not even a slight incentive was made which I find a bit disappointing since my new mattress I paid for had set up included which I can’t get due to the error on Thuma’s part.
Too expensive for the quality
Too expensive for the quality. They use many small pieces of soft wood glue together to one piece to make it looks like solid wood and I think composite wood can be stronger than that. The design looks good but nothing else.
All in All, Worth the Effort and Expense
All in all, we love our Thuma furniture and bedding. Well-made, classy looking and the bed is very comfortable. Delivery and unpacking, however, were another story.
We bought a queen bed with headboard + cushion and a hybrid mattress, two one-drawer nightstands, a dresser with four drawers, and a linen box quilt. Putting together the bed and dresser weren't difficult but definitely required a lot of effort for two of us in our early 80's.
Delivery-wise, the six boxes containing the nightstands and dresser drawers, one to a box, arrived quickly and together. Everything was very well packed, which makes for a lot of cardboard and other material to cut up and dispose of. The headboard, however, got stuck in shipping limbo for almost a week. To their credit, Thuma customer service noticed this and got it moving again before we contacted them. The linen box quilt also got hung up in shipping. We had to email customer service, who followed up and was told by FedEx that the box was lost. Thuma asked us to check around to see if we could find the box (which was annoying since we'd told them it hadn't been delivered). They then did ship us another, which came quickly.
Buyer beware. Just know what you're probably in for when you make a Thuma purchase.
Terrible quality control and absent customer service
Id like to think there would be better quality control on a $1000.00 bed frame. Upon assembly one of the main screws that holds the bed together won't screw in because the receiving end bolt/threads was obviously pressed in incorrectly. (I have pictures) Wouldn't you check this critical assembly point before sending a bed out to the consumer? To my 2nd surprise, there's no customer service phone number, just an email...for service on a $1000 bed frame? After sending in my email request for help I got a cavalier robo-response email telling me they'd be back to me- in 1-2 days. 1-2 days. Since Ive already gotten rid of my old frame I guess it's an air mattress for me until Thuma has time to address my problem. Terrible.
I love the bed frame but.....
I love the bed frame, I bought18 months ago along with two bedside tables. I had to return one of the bedside table as it had very bad discoloration on top. They returned it without hassle. Just now noticed that one of my current bedsides just has a small area where finish is gone?? It also is made with the drawer having no dove tail or rabbet to give easier pulling, so now just pulls with great difficulty as needing D-W or oil. Just too much money for the poor craftsmanship. I would not recommend the bedside dresser/tables AT ALL
