I bought tickets to visit wimpole christmas lights, entry time 5.30pm Friday evening. It says on the website that tickets can be exchanged up to 24 hours before. We need to change the date as one person can no longer attend and tried to do it via the app as it states. When I looked on Wednesday evening there was no option to exchange. I emailed them at 10.30pm Wednesday night. They have contacted me today (Thursday) to say it is less than 24 hours to the event date and therefore I cannot exchange the tickets!!!!
Wednesday night when I contacted them was 43 hours before the event time and even if you count midnight Thursday as the start of the event still well over 24 hours before.
Update: Approx 7 emails, 2 phone calls and lots of stress later I managed to get the exchange but did not hear until just before the time of our booking. The reply they gave to this review shows they cannot seem to understand that Wednesday evening is more than 24 hours before Friday!!!

Bought a pair of tickets to a cinema screening and paid a decent chunk extra to make sure they were refundable.
Turns out claiming a refund (something normal companies offer for free) is near impossible due to the insanely specific circumstances you need to claim. For example needing to travel for work is only a valid reason if you have to relocate for at least 3 months...
The process involves going through and deliberately unintuitive process and submitting a form to their own third party, effectively allowing them to wash their hands and claim it wasn't their rules.

Their customer services are non existent. When I did finally get a response they told me I was in New Zealand and they only dealt with the UK. Now. I know us Derbyshire folk speak a little differently, but last I heard it was in the centre of the UK, Literally. Im still waiting for a response after a month of trying. Would never recommend nor use their service again. Use alt-tickets. Really good communication. Helped me within 24hrs.

I had tickets for the Christmas Light Trail at Dunham Massey, which was cancelled due to bad weather. The app clearly states that cancelled tickets can be exchanged at no extra cost—even if the new session is more expensive. However, the app has shown an error for days, making the exchange impossible.
I contacted Ticketek several times and received contradictory answers. First they told me to exchange through the app (which isn’t working), then to buy new tickets and request a refund afterward—but this would cost me £25 more. Each reply avoided the key question: Will the price difference be refunded if I am forced to rebook at a higher cost due to their system failure? I still have no clear answer.
Poor communication, contradictory instructions, and no real support in resolving a simple issue. Very disappointing experience.

Absolutely horrible experience trying to select seats. You can’t select seats if it leaves a single however there were dozens of single seats? I could have had perfectly good seats but due to the fact it would leave a single I had to sit further back once I finally managed to get them. Every time i selected my seats it told me they had gone, but they hadn’t, if you load the screen too many times it kicks you out and thinks you’re a robot and have to clear your cache and web pages to reload it and then sit back in a queue.

Booking for Dunham Massey cancelled due to weather. Fair enough. Offered a refund or exchange. The app, website and customer service options are diabolical. The exchange process in the app does not work. Customer services impossible to contact.

This company is a fraud.
The app clearly states:
EXCHANGE YOUR TICKETS
We have matched your current tickets with those available in your newly selected time. For cancelled events, tickets may be exchanged to another session at no extra cost where the new session is of higher value. Refunds are not provided if tickets with a lower value are selected.
I have followed the instructions of customer support and bought new tickets which happen to be of a higher value, but rest assured I should have been refunded at no extra cost to me.
Nope, customer service has refunded my original order and not made up the difference between the old order and the new one as state in your app!
This is fraud plain and simple.
I managed to get a customer phone number and they couldn't sort it out so asked for a full refund of both orders.
