TINJ is a scam. I purchased two pairs of prescription glasses and both came damaged and with the wrong prescription. I attempted to start a return and discovered that to return anything you have to send it back to a China address (for $60USD) and they do not refund any part of the lenses, even if they gave you the wrong one.
On top of that,I had the "blue light blocking lenses" tested by 2 optometrists and they are in no way blue light blocking. Just buy something local, don't bother with this scam

DO NOT PURCHASE - I have had my glasses less that 5 months and the arm has come out of the spring. They are telling me they will not repair, exchange or refund because its passed the warranty period... The glass frames are obviously defective. They have only offered me $8 off of my next pair...

Amazing quality and service. One of the nicest brands I have ever come across. Helped me so much!
I ordered 2 pairs of glasses which arrived after 1 month in the UK. The glasses are ok, definitely not of great quality but for the low price it was to be expected.
My biggest concern was with customer service - it’s difficult to get in touch with them and get an update on your order. It wasn’t clear that they were made in China, that explains why the processing of the order takes a long time. Although not of high quality, the frames look quite nice.

COMPLETE SCAM! Very shady customer service practices and they don't directly engage with you or address you concerns. I tried to cancel my order three times didn't hear anything from them for days/weeks. VERY POOR QUALITY AND CHEAP MATERIALS. Looks like something I bought at Claires when I was 13 for $5. PLEASE DON'T WASTER YOUR MONEY-NO RETURNS. I PROMISE YOU WILL BE VERY DISAPPOINTED FOR THE MONEY. I researched this company and many of their "positive reviews" are computer generated. LOOK AWAY!

Honestly terrible experience overall. I bought a pair of glasses from them not even a year ago and took almost forever to get to me. When it did get to my address the glasses had defects and weren't aligned properly and one lense was closer to my eye compared to the other.
When I emailed them about it they said they can't see the problem with it when I took several pictures of it and everyone who has looked at it said it was uneven.
A few months later, the lenses started to pop off the frame almost constantly, and shortly afterward the frame itself broke.
I've never bought such expensive glasses and was given such a cheap hastily made pair of glasses in my life. Please never buy from this place. Their customer service is absolutely terrible and so is their product. Buy at your own risk

I am not someone who has ever left a review, but this was the absolute worst online ordering experience I have ever dealt with. For starters, it’s been almost three months and I still don’t have the glasses I ordered. The company’s customer service is tragic. They do not allow phone calls. Instead they only contact costumers via email where the employees are extremely rude and incompetent. 4 weeks after I ordered my glasses and realized they still had not shipped, I emailed the company about changing the shipping address because I was moving. They assured me that everything would be taken care of. When I still hadn’t heard from them or seen that the package had been shipped 7 weeks later I contacted them again. We corresponded multiple times back and forth where they continued to lie to me and tell me that the shipping address had been changed (which it hadn’t) and my package would be shipped soon. As soon as the package was shipped they claimed it was out of their hands despite me reiterating that I had asked them to change the address three times before it shipped. Instead they directed me to a sketchy tracking website that could not locate my package. After all the hassle, I asked if I could speak to upper management. The company then never responded and I haven’t heard from them since. I also contacted my old landlord and they said there was never a package sent to my old apartment, so who knows where the glasses are? Would strongly advise steering clear from this horrific website.

Loved it!! It took me almost two months to receive it in the UK but with the pandemic I totally understand! The glasses fit me so well, the packaging is secure and the customer service is great! Would recommend
I ordered two pair of glasses, the second was awesome, (not mine, unfortunately), but the first arrived defected (according to several opticians I asked for help) as too large, to the point it isn't wearable even with antislip holders.
I asked for a refund, they want me to pay for the shipping in China (at least 30Eu) to charge me for the first shipping, and they will refund me just the frame cost (22 euros on 99 of purchase) because it's a prescription one.
Not wanting to waste money, I asked them at least a discount on a new purchase, so that I can choose a model like the second one, being without glasses, they never answered me, and when I told them I would have opened controversy with Paypal, they disabled my account!
So I can't even access to private data like my prescription, or the purchases and shipping information!
That's outrageous!
DON'T EVER BUY FROM THEM
prescription glasses are a medical device, it's really important for someone like me who can't drive or work without them, and now I'm stuck, spending money on contact lenses I don't want to wear, just to wait for a resolution as I don't want to afford a new order and I can't live without glasses!
Edit:
They answered 4 years later.. wow that’s good customer service 😅

I ordered progressives at start of January and they haven’t arrived .E mailed Tijn as there is no number to phone and no live chat unlike Firmoo who are wonderful with their customer service. They e mailed back basically saying it was my problem and to contact the Royal Mail to find my package!! Then someone different told me to pick them up at my local post office ! Why when the delivery adress is my home .Even if they were the post office wouldn’t give you a parcel without proof of ownership .Then told to go to my local depot to see if they are there !!Appalling Don’t buy from this awful company. They take your money but don’t care after that what happens

My glasses gave me peripheral distortion so bad that I couldn't walk in them and they wouldn't take a return. Garbage.

Ordered twice with them, both prescription glasses and prescription sunglasses. Their frames are super stylish, diopter was spot on! I really like their metal frames: so light and they come with nose pads, which is ideal for people with small noses. Coating is thick and shiny. Nothing to complain about and already eyeing some new models... but do I really need another pair?
Absolutely disgusting excuse for a company. To scam people into buying EXPENSIVE BLUE LIGHT glasses just to never send their orders or get garbage flimsy frames sent. I am appalled by a company like this being able to be advertised on platforms like Instagram and Facebook. Goes to show how much those companies care about the average person. I am extremely unhappy with this company and hope somebody completely brings it down. Not to mention there’s NO NUMBER to call to speak to someone about my 200 dollar order that never arrived. I’m a college student with not much money so thank you so much for SCAMMING me out of my money. Awful.

The branding and marketing for these sunglasses is very appealing and it was probably what initially caught my attention. It took a really long time for my glasses to arrive and when they did I was disappointed by how flimsy the frame was. I had them less than a month when the arm snapped off, I had only worn them maybe six times. Ultimately I am pretty disappointed with the quality of this brand. Im happy I at least ordered them on sale and spend 35 CAN dollars, so I didn't waste too much money. These sunglasses are clearly 10 dollar knockoffs trying to be ray bans. I wouldn't recommend them.

I ordered 6 pairs of glasses from Tijn back in march. i paid almost $300 total for my prescription & the blue light on all of them. I received my email confirming my order & nothing else. I knew I would have to wait longer considering Covid was at its peak at the time. After a month, I contacted customer service & was told that I would just need to wait a bit longer due to the pandemic. Another month & the same thing. By the third month, my order was deleted from my accounts order history & customer service said there was no record of my order despite me having an order confirmation number & proof they had taken the money from my bank account back in March. I have been emailing back & forth with their customer service & I haven’t received my glasses OR my money back. Do not order from TIJN, i’m convinced they’re just a scam.

Surprised to see so many negative reviews.. my experience instead was flawless, I ordered a pair and paid too much because I wasn't really sure about my prescription but the customer service contacted me immediately and we found out that i didn't need some options, so they refunded within a week. Then the glasses were made and delivered in about a month. The delivery was free and I didn't have to pay the tax, which is very nice too. The glasses are beautiful and of a good quality, my old pair costed me 400€ and this one is not worse at all just much cheaper. I'll probably take another pair.
Cheers!
I ordered the Maike frames in black and the frames weren’t at all what they seemed on their website. The glasses felt extremely cheap and not at all worth the price! The gold finish on the arms started chipping/fading off and caused a horrible rash on the back on my ear to the point of bleeding and oozing. It says they’re made out of TR90 material which supposedly is hypoallergenic, but I don’t believe it. Whatever material they’re using for these glasses are cheap and horrible. I’ve never had skin issues with sensitivity or different metals and the rash took a solid 2 months to clear up. I only had the glasses for 3 months before the paint was chipping and I was never rough with them. I emailed TIJN to see if I could get my money back and asking if they would go into further detail about what their glasses were made out of and all I got back was “sorry no returns, but here’s $10 off your next purchase.” Are you kidding?!
Bottom line, don’t waste your money on TIJN!
