Sent the wrong tiles

Sent the wrong tiles, even though the attached paperwork to the parcel had the right tile details on it. Of course, they've been acquired by Topps Tiles literally in the last 2 weeks since I placed my order so you can't get through to anyone at Tile Warehouse and Topps Tiles don't know enough to help yet. Absolute joke of a service and I'm left without a finished bathroom (no toilet or sink) until I get the right tiles. Completely unacceptable.

I placed a order for tiles and when they arrived yesterday the order was short I tried phoning them pointless they never answer i also emailed them on several occasions still no reply there customer service is absolutely abysmal would never buy anything from them again

Avoid this company

I feel like I have dodged a bullet. They charged and sent me a smashed sample tile, that the next day was discontinued.

I sent an email straight away and got an auto response telling me to talk to a chatbot instead. I sent several more emails - all ignored.

I feel sorry for those who have made large orders.

They delivered 4 broken tiles and I…

They delivered 4 broken tiles and I have tried to email, webchat and phoned 4 times (each time "we are sorry all our agents are busy, goodbye") and no response.

I made sure to do this within 48 hours and before taking out of the plastic rap as after reading the reviews they'll try weasel out!

I guess I'll just have to complain to credit card company and get a full refund.

Substandard porcelain and evasive customer service (Order #109263)

I bought 45x45 porcelain tiles for my project, but the quality is unacceptable. Two independent professional tilers have inspected the batch and refused to install them due to excessive size variation (out of caliber) and bowing (camber). There is also a clear mismatch in shading between the tiles.
Despite photographic evidence, customer service is hiding behind 'British Standards' to avoid taking responsibility. A 1mm–2mm difference on a 450mm porcelain tile makes a straight 3mm grout joint impossible. Opening the boxes was the only way to find these latent defects, yet the company is stalling. My project is at a standstill. Beware before buying.

Worst company don’t use!

Shocking. I deleted the last review because of the gaslighting response. I didn’t accept the order and you know that. A photo was taken without my knowledge then weaponised against me to say I’d accepted an order when I had not accepted it and refused to sign for it. The issue was never about it being brought to the back of the property it was about the fact the delivery driver left it in the middle of the road blocking a public highway. This has been reported to the council who have declared this is illegal and classed as fly tipping. You are an actual disgrace. You didn’t bend over backwards at all you gaslit me and said computer says no! Don’t use this company they are con artists

Unhappy with my experience

Unhappy with my experience. Tiles we delivered to a rental property and opened by the tiler, found to have chips on most of the tiles. Contacted customer service, their policy states tiles must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. This was not possible for me, and doesn't change the fact the tiles were delivered broken!

Brought tiles in November was enable…

Brought tiles in November was enable get work done until Feb. Turn out tiles were damaged & broken. Plus missing tiles too. Spend £1000 on them. Have been left with 6 tiles short finished my home. Contacted tile warehouse regarding this unable help saying had 48hr policy wanting me check ever single tile which was impossible to do. When on see how much wud be for 6 tiles be delivered quoting me £95 for delivery 🤯🤯. No replacement offer or discount for delivery. Not be ordering again or telling friends too.

Unfortunately we only have 48 hours to make a claim with the carriers insurance for damages and we do make this really clear on all the documentation before you plave an order, we do try to be a little leniant however, when we are talking months from the delivery date, I am afraid we have no recourse to claim these back.

I am sorry that ordering from Northern Ireland carries a heavier delivery charge than normal but we did give you free carriage on the initial delivery when we had the same higher charges so it does feel that we are trying our best but the distance they have to travel can not be funded all the time.

I am so sorry you feel we did not treat you fairly on this occasion.

Absolutely disgusting

Absolutely disgusting. Don’t go here for anything, they will rip you off the first, and every chance they get.
You did not offer me anything of the sort. You charged me £50 for four tiles because YOUR calculator was incorrect. You just pass the blame and grab the money. And that’s AFTER you screwed up my order delivery the first time. Pathetic.

I am so sorry you feel misled, we have supplied the goods you asked for as per your dimensions and now that you need a top up, you do not want to pay the delivery fee. We do not rip anyone off but we also cannot be held responsible when we have done nothing wrong. We offered a half price delivery as a gesture but that was refused as well. Not sure what else we could do?

They sold an out of stock item

They sold an out of stock item! The sale was confirmed even to the type of vehicle to complete the delivery. The order was placed 5th January and delivery chosen 2nd Feb to allow for someone to be at the property. Payment was taken! On the day of delivery I sent an email asking for an approximate delivery time-there was no response! I telephoned about 2hours later. After the operative placed another call I was advised the item was discontinued and I would not be getting it. This was the day of delivery and despite having nearly a month to make contact with me this only came to light when I called them -disgusting company

I highly recommend Tile Warehouse, their resolution of my slight issue with quality was first class. Not only were they helpful in sending a replacement where needed, but polite and efficient with it - qualities which are becoming rare in customer service these days. We do ask that you contact us within 48 hours so we can ensure we can replace anything required for damages or shortages in the same batch. We are quite leniant around this and do often stretch this to 7 days however, after 50 days I am afraid we do need to stand by the terms and conditions you signed and agreed to when making the purchase.

I’m extremely disappointed with how my…

I’m extremely disappointed with how my delivery was handled and how my complaint was dealt with afterwards.
My order was left in a “safe place” that may have been safe for the driver, but was absolutely not safe for me as the customer. The pallet of heavy tiles was left in the road, despite there being a dropped kerb just two houses away that would have allowed it to be placed safely on the pavement while still being kerbside.
Because the tiles were left in the road, I felt pressured to urgently move them to avoid obstruction. While carrying the tiles, I tripped, fell, smashed the tiles, and fractured my finger, requiring A&E treatment and antibiotics for suspected infection. The driver witnessed the fall and drove off without checking if I was okay.
Despite a full explanation and escalation, the company refused to accept any responsibility, repeatedly stating that the location was “safe” because it met their courier policy — even though it directly led to injury. They also refused to refund even the second delivery charge (£30) as a goodwill gesture, which I had to pay solely because of how the original delivery was left.
The product itself is nice, but customer safety and aftercare were completely lacking. If you order from here, be very aware that “safe place” seems to mean safe for the courier only — not for you.

Hi Rochelle, I am so sorry that you had an accident following the delivery of our tiles.
We do try to be very clear in our checkout terms and conditions that anything over 15kg will be on a pallet, and this delivery will be kerbside as per the third party carrier conditions. We also suggest having people to help with unloading if possible due to this condition.
The carrier will always place pallets on the pavement if a drop kerb is available at the property which in this case it unfortunately was not. Had this been mentioned in the delivery box when you placed the order we could have looked into alternate solutions for you.
I do hope you recover quickly from this mishap.

Brilliant customer services when there was an issue

I placed two orders with tilewarehouse. The first order went smoothly. The next order less so, the wrong tiles arrived damaged. Bex on customer services sorted it immediately and I received the correct tiles the next day. Brilliant customer services and lovely tiles.

Tile Warehouse was my lifesaver when I had so much trouble with other suppliers. It was a total coincidence that I saw their website, and I needed the tiles like yesterday! Oh my goodness, their website said "next day delivery," which sounded great. I looked at almost all suitable tiles for my bathroom, and I chose Blanco 3D. I couldn't have chosen anything that better matched my design imagination. 🥰🙏🏼 I am extremely happy with the 3D effect, size, thickness, and all. Customer Service was top-class. They responded so quickly. Well done!

Tiles look great

Tiles look great, which is the most important aspect. There were a few issues with my delivery, but their customer service was excellent. The only real issue was the tiles I ordered, which were only 59.5cm squared, not 60cm squared as I wanted.
