Tiles was wonderful. They expedited our tile samples to us so quickly! We used their color and textures to inform important decisions in our kitchen renovation. Thanks Tilezz!
They were able to deliver my order very quickly. Prices are reasonable and products are high quality. Great customer service and they follow up. I have been ordering for all my projects from them for about 2 years never had an issue.
I ordered a multi tone peach tile in a large quantity. I received a neon orange tile that was all the same color tone. The seller refuses to refund my money unless I pay over $350 to send them back. I was forced to open an item not as described case on the entire order because of this.
Everything was great and arrived on time. Will order again.
Do not order from this company. They do not follow manufacturer guidelines when it comes to tile application. The company labeled wall-only tile as wall AND floor rated tile. I ordered a bunch of this specific tile because the website had ‘floor’ listed. Luckily, one of my tile contractors called out that the tile wasn’t suitable for floors. Knowing I would not have purchased wall-only tile for floors, I went out to their website (which still had wall and floor listed) and contacted Tilezz.
The customer service I received was horrendous. They stood behind their wall and floor claims as other customers had installed it that way. Because of their questionable responses, I went out to the manufacturer’s website and read the guidelines for use. The manufacturer had this specific tile listed as wall only and discouraged using it in areas where slip resistance is a concern. I sent this info to Tilezz and they continued to challenge me, even saying that “ Probably Roca doesn't even know why this tile is not floor rated because exact similar natural stone tile from same collection is floor rated. I've been in this industry over 25 years so I know little bit about this stuff.” This was their exact response. And this response was provided after my Dad (a general contractor), other tile contractors, and the manufacturer all said the tile wasn’t suitable for floors.
Tilezz knew I would not install this tile, they could have offered me a return option after my second email to them. Instead, they wasted my time, and at the end, said, “If you don't want to use them, you can ship them back to us for refund. Once they are ready and packed we can send you return labels and when we receive them back all in original condition, we can process refund for you.” This whole situation put my project in a bind and significantly wasted my time this week (time I did not have).
Because of the experience and their bashing of the manufacturer, I forwarded the manufacturer the email exchange with Tilezz and made them aware that Tilezz was apparently more knowledgeable about their tile than they were (I cc’d Tilezz for transparency). As a result of this email, I received a response from a Tilezz Sales Director apologizing for the website copy-paste error. The Sales Director also confirmed that the tile was not floor rated according to TCNA standards.
Tilezz did send me return labels the next day. In conclusion, on top of finding new replacement tile by next week, I get to package up 14 boxes and drive them to FedEx for shipping (so then I can hopefully get refunded). This was a nightmare, I would avoid at all costs!
