Timberland don't like refunding money.
Timberland Milton Keynes, so I purchased some dry clean kit for around £20 but once I look at my boots I figure this ain't gonna work. So I phoned the shop and asked to return the item is brand new unused for a refund, I explained that I had lost the original receipt but that it was on my bank statement. So the shop assistant put me on hold and asked the manager, who said that I could only have an exchange. Well there is nothing firstly to replace it with, and secondly according to my consumer rights act a bank statement is fine as proof of purchase, and clearly this kit isn't gonna dry clean much of anything. Let's not forget I purchased this kit after all the marks still on my boots, after letting this shop wash my boots in the first place. I opened a dispute with my bank, to get my hard earned money returned.
I never received my shoes...
I placed an order in November, didn't got the parcel to this day. I have emailed/live chatted with Timberland. They're Customer Service is zero....
No contact. Replying to my emails saying that they will get back to me in 24- 48 hours.
I won't ever recommend to anyone to order from them.
Shame as always liked Timberland boots…
Shame as always liked Timberland boots however the quality seems to have gone downhill and customer service is not interested.
A pair of brown boots bought from a shop (not timberland) have develop a fault whereby stitching has come apart due to thin leather. Unfortunately I can’t go back to original shop and Timberland do not want to know.
Ordered an expensive pair of boots only…
Ordered an expensive pair of boots only for them to arrive and clearly be a pair which have been returned from another person who had worn them and marked and defected them. Extremely disappointed and after being a Timberland enthusiast for 20 years will be switching to another company
Shocking customer service
3 time's sending the Wrong size. Phone up and they say hello North Face WTF. Always liked Timberland but shocking online and telephone customer service
Very helpful staff
I found the staff very helpful and friendly when I needed to have laces replaced in my Timberland shoes. They went the extra mile in helping to re- lace them using a needle. Much appreciated!
Outsourcing your CS department gives you…………
One of the worst customer service experiences of my life.
Simple really i ordered something that didn’t arrive . The carrier confirms its lost yet there is a whole set of hoops to jump thru , emails to wait phone calls to be made .
Where’s the priority in getting the customer what they ordered ?
I’m told that it’s in stock today but if I want to guarantee a pair I need to outlay another£150 before I can play roulette with the fact they may not arrive at all.
Great product , abissmal everything else . In fact the product even theirs it’s outsourced like the customer service to a factory and they print timberland all over it .
Customer Service
Wow, always thought Timberland were a decent company until today.
Internet order for a pair of waterproof walking boots. I had them for a couple of months before I got them properly wet. They aren't waterproof, let water in on the toes.
Apparently I have to take back to a store, they don't seem to believe me. There aren't any stores local but they won't do anything else for me. Shocking service...
Wish I'd looked at trustpilot before purchasing, can't believe how low they rate...
A terrible experience
Totally rubbish as an organisation - I've always loved their boots but won't ever buy from them again. I bought some boots in the Derby store in November. Less than a month later, having only worn them four times, one of the laces broke. I took them back to the store and they said there was nothing they could do, and they didn't even stock spare laces. They suggested I went to a shoe repair place and paid them myself. So I contacted Timberland online - they've said that I have to buy the replacement laces myself from their website, and that, once I've done this, I can send them the details and they will refund the cost of the laces. What a complete insult. To cap it off, they don't even have the laces in stock on their website. I'm so cross about this totally s..t service. Do not buy from them, either in store or online, if you want decent follow-up service.
The absolute worst experience online shopping...
The absolute worst customer service/online shopping experience you can ever imagine. I honestly don't have time to write up the entire story as there's been about 40 different types of equally poor communication, but please please take my advice and do not order online at Timberland.
My order never showed up and had to battle customer service for weeks to get a refund. Customer service treat you terribly, constantly telling you what you want to hear, but never actually delivering on promises. At one point someone promised me they'd process the refund by the end of the day but they never did, and when I followed up they said they couldn't process it as the promise was made by another agent even though I had the transcripts to back it up! What kind of company promises something and then the next day goes back on it?
Anyway, they've finally processed the refund now but I can quite easily say it was the worst shopping experience ever. Give it a miss!
Ordered boots online
Ordered boots online. Wrong size sent. Sent back, ordered again... Wrong size sent again.
Customer lost
When is a receipt not receipt
When is a receipt not receipt. When it's a Timberland receipt. On 29/11/2024 I purchased £168.90 worth of goods from the Timberland store in McArthurGlen designer outlet in Livingston. I attempted to return 1 of the items today, along with the purchase receipt. They refused to give me a refund as I did not have the separate credit card receipt and as such their fraud prevention rules didn't permit it. Alternatively, I attempted to show the transaction on my credit card account. This was also rejected. As a so called goodwill gesture, I was offered a credit note, which I reluctantly accepted.
Horrible Horrible company
Horrible Horrible company! Customer service is shit! Placed order, two weeks, still haven't received and zero help from them!
DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE
Bought a pair of walking shoes from these people. The top of the shoe began coming away from the sole and so was leaking badly, reported to timberland with pictures etc. Jumped through all their "warranty" hoops to have them blame me for their shoddy workmanship. DO NOT BUY their shoes!!
Avoid these clowns like the plague
Avoid these clowns like the plague, I ordered 2 pairs of boots on the 25/11/2024, they were a little snug so returned and ordered larger sizes, phone up a week and half ago as I had already had an email confirming they had recieved them on the 29th to be told it was being processed and would receive the refund before Christmas, phoned again yesterday to be told the guy who sent the returns label should have followed it up and issued the refund. The lady I spoke to was flagging it with him so he should process it yesterday or today(christmas eve at the latest). Guess what..... no refund, I have had no choice but to raise it with my credit card provider to claim it back. Should I really have to do this........NO. would I buy timberland again...... NO. All they do is give excuses and lies, buy at your own risk
Paid for express delivery and still no boots after two weeks!
Paid for express delivery on the 3rd of December and still haven’t received my parcel over two weeks later. Parcel tracking doesn’t work on timberland website, phone service cuts off after being on hold for 10 mins and chat bots just repeat the same answers with nobody available at all at weekends!
Spoke to DPD who told me just to contact Timberland!!
Unable to return product bought 13 days…
Unable to return product bought 13 days ago.
I received a return code but was unable to use it within 10 days. There was no mention of the time limit until after I had ordered the code. The only limit suggested was that the return needed to be made by 31st January.
There is no way for me to create a new return code and their chat has been unavailable all day, and closes at 18:00. Due to the complete lack of customer service my only option is to initiate a charge back with my credit card company.
Ordered boots for my Daughter 5th…
Ordered boots for my Daughter 5th December. Suppose to delivered by Yodel. Kept checking the status of my delivery kept saying at International hub. Checked it on 17th and it said returned to sender. Yodel didn't even attempt to deliver it. TIMBERLAND didn't care when I contacted them. Last time I buy anything from them. Absolute clowns
Shocking customer service
I have now contacted Timberland CS 5x times to request help (refund or replacement) with a delivery that Yodel tracking is showing as "out with driver" since 25th November (its now 17th December).
I have used Chat, email and now phone. I have been told multiple times they will chase it with Yodel and get back to me - and surprise surprise, I hear nothing back and when I chase it again, its like they have no recollection or I get an automated templated email reply saying deliveries can take up to 7 days.
New Boots order for Christmas had been worn
Slow, poor service! Christmas present order of expensive Timberland boots resulted in pre-worn boots, scuffed leather and soles worn being received.
When pictures sent to Timberland, after a week, an email received to return the boots.
On talking to the customer service team after 20+ minutes holding, line went dead! On finally getting through a second time, no help other than a refund (one week before Christmas) was offered!
