I’m disappointed that the food prices have kept rising again and again within just a year. I’m from Manchester, and Tim Hortons used to be a great place to get a breakfast bundle for around £5, includ... See more

As Canadians on holiday in Northern…
As Canadians on holiday in Northern Ireland who love Timmies we really looked forward to a coffee and donut. The order consisted of 2 regular coffees 1 tea. Box of titbits. We got 3 teas. The staff didn't appear to understand us.
We were very disappointed in
1.cleanliness. we would be pushed to give 6 out of 10. At no time were there more than 3 families in the store.
2. The coffee was good. tidbits just OK.
3 we saw customers leave due to lack of customer service.
4 Atmosphere dull no interaction between customer and staff.
We are in Ballymena.
This was the most disgusting burger I'd…
Visited Tim Hortons in Lakeside, was the most disgusting burger I'd ever had, looked like they'd thrown it together, buns were dry and rank, burger was tasteless, had an iced coffee, worst iced coffee I'd ever had, donuts were stodgy and dry. Kids had chicken strips, was way overcooked so very dry. Avoid don't waste your money! If you're looking for fast food burgers etc go to McDonald's instead honestly don't bother with this place just awful!
Braintree - disgusting food that was barely warm
Disgusting food that was barely warm, filthy restaurant in Braintree, employees shouting at each other across the restaurant and bins literally over-flowing inside and outside.
Birmingham new street
Filthy. The upstairs dining area needs seeing too. Dust, crumbs and spilt drink all over the floor. It’s vile.
First time ever at a Tim Hortons and…
First time ever at a Tim Hortons and it'll take a lot of convincing for me to return.
The newly opened Stirling store was the destination. It's located next to a Costa Coffee, 200 yards from a Burger King and 300 yards from a McDonald's.
The store itself is lovely - spacious, seats are less "fast food plastic" and more comfortable than the competition. That's where the positives end.
You can order at the till, but as with most others now, ordering is through a terminal. The pictures of food itms on the terminal are certainly a lot more appetising than the real thing! This store is card only as well. Not great for someone who still prefers good old cash.
I ordered a classic burger, lattice fries, a medium strawberry milkshake and an extra portion of sauce - that came to £9! Way more expensive than the competition.......but significantly less quality.
While waiting for the order I decided to get some TimBits to take home to the family - box of 20 for £6.99. It transpires that they are not smaller versions of delicious doughnuts, but more little dry rocks of wasted calories. They weren't helped by the server failing to hear the difference between the cinnamon that I'd ordered and birthday cake which he was determined I wanted. Note - birthday cake TimButts are covered in 100s and 1000s - I hate those crunchy buggers.......and having had them in the box I was subjected to them every mouthful. First world problems I guess.
I waited about 10 minutes (no queue) for the order to arrive and was told that there was no mayo (despite paying an extra 50p for it). I ended up with a BBQ sauce.
The burger........meat was cold and it didn't have any salad on it. Bizarrely, the toasted bun it came in was two bun tops? Is it weird that I like to eat my food the right way up, yet this small expectation couldn't be met........I will never know if I ate it upside down or the right way around. The meat tasted weird - that's the only way to describe it.
Lattice fries were nice.......would have been better if I had the mayo I'd paid for.
Strawberry Milkshake - meh. Not a lot of strawberry going on, but at least it was red, had milk and was shaken.
Sorry Mr. Horton.....with 3 major players in the area you need to look at service, quality and cost to be anywhere close to competing for business. Not for me I'm afraid.
Milton Keynes
Milton Keynes, barnsdale drive, getting a 1 star because I cant rate lower, cold chips, rock hard hot dog bun, small portions, over priced. Never again, they won't service long.
First time sitting in at Sealand Road…
First time sitting in at Sealand Road chester, lovely big place and quiet inside. Several dirty tables requiring a wipe so questioning why it’s not pristine clean! Always makes me think about kitchen hygiene when staff can’t keep on top of basic tables and cleaning. 2nd time eating here and enjoyed the crispy chicken stack, nice chicken. Americano coffee ok , maybe a bit weak. Would come again. Noted, It’s right next to macdonalds where the queues are always extensive?! Never queues for this place? ….
Cumbernauld Location
Cumbernauld Location. Portion are a joke . Have been take Wrap chicken and I wanna go back asking for refund. Just some mayonnaise on and no salad at all .
Disgusted
Visited Tim Hortons in Braintree after having looked forwards to it opening for many weeks. Burger was OK, more meaty but less tasty than a McDonalds burger. Same with the lattice fries, tasty but probably equivalent to shop bought ones. Unfortunately a few things happened with our takeaway which meant I will probably not eat there again.
Firstly I used their terminal to order 3 burger meals, drinks and some apple and cinnamon deserts. This machine ran out of receipts and I waited 5 minutes for someone to call a 'manager' who finally told me I could just go to the counter and he would print me a receipt from there.
I waited around 30 minutes for my order to be fulfilled (no exaggeration), with children waiting in the car. The branch wasn't overly busy, with around 5 orders up on the screen.
When I finally was called for my order (I think 952), the person serving me (the manager) told me that they had ran out of all of the sauces I had ordered and only had Sweet Curry sauce available. He eventually took some burger ketchup from the kitchen and placed a little in the bottom of a small takeaway cup as a compromise. I asked him where the drinks were and he pointed towards a fridge and walked away. The fridge had run out of the Fanta I had ordered, so I just took a sprite instead. By this point I was understandingly fed up. At no point did anyone explain how it all worked and everyone working there actually looked quite depressed. Maybe some better training and some motivation for the staff would help lift the mood.
The worse part of the night happened whilst eating my Apple and Cinnamon dessert. As I was nearing the end of it, I crunched down on what I can only describe as something with crunchy consistency. My mouth began to sense a small amount of metallic-tasting fluid. It was definitely foreign - something like the taste of iron tablets. Disgusted, I immediately spat out what was in my mouth but couldn't see what it was due to the masticated food. I washed my mouth out in the sink and fortunately didn't swallow anything but was left extremely uncomfortable and sickened. I'm really glad to some extent, by chance, I had that one rather than a member of my family.
Someone from head office really needs to take an incognito visit one early evening to check the Braintree branch out.
I personally have been left reeling from something that I had been looking forwards to trying for some time and don't feel I can bring myself to visit any other branch again.
Poor
Visited the Ipswich store to be advised we needed to queue outside as they weren’t coping with the orders , despite the fact the restaurant was virtually empty. Drive thru was also massively backed up. Staff had no people skills and totally lacked any signs of motivation. Thought prices compared to Canada were expensive. Enjoyed my coffee but won’t be returning
LAKESIDE - NO STAR - TERRIBLE
Went to the Lakeside branch to try out this new " Restaurant" with my wife and two children . Ordered basically kiddies burger and fries and adult burger and fries. What a disaster , the burgers were cold the lattice fries were cold and had the consistency of leather. Drinks were not much better my vanilla shake was more like vanilla iced water, The cost was twice what i would pay in Mac Donalds ! add to this the awful tinny loud music being played we could hardly hear each other . All in all a terrible and expensive experience that I definitely will not be repeating, give me Mac Donalds or Burger King any time. If I could have given NO STAR believe me I would have Finally I will make a prediction that by this time next year Tim Hortons will be Gone from Lakeside !
Great coffee and timbits!
BRAINTREE - Doesn't accept cash
BRAINTREE - DOESNT ACCEPT CASH!
Seriously how can you not accept cash I asked and the answer I got was "because of covid"
And to top it all off - no tomato sauce 😂

Broughton park in Deeside shocking
Broughton park in Deeside. Waited half an hour to be told my wife’s order wasn’t available. Then another twenty minutes for them to get all of our orders wrong! When we asked for a refund as we couldn’t wait any longer as we where going to the cinema to watch a film a snotty manager snatched the receipt off us and argued over the refund!
She shouted to us that all we wanted was our money back…! Will never go again as this isn’t the first time they have annoyed us but it will certainly be the last. Avoid this place like the plague
No stars !
We ventured to lakeside store today for some late lunch. The drive thru wasn’t busy so we gave it a go. Had never tried here before. We waited ages at the speaker to have our order taken to then be told to wait a min. We finally put our order though to the staff member.
We then pulled to the window and no one was there. We weren’t sure if there was another window so waited until someone decided to open.
I went to pay with cash to then be told we don’t take cash ! This was not ever mentioned or any signs stating this (Which by the way your not allowed to do ) so my partner used his card as I wasn’t prepared to argue as the customer service so far was shocking ! As I turned to use the card she had walked away and started talking to some one else! So we waited for her to serve us again !
We paid then got given our food in sections because clearly it wasn’t ready. We drove out and sat to eat our food which was horrid ! It was poorly put together and freezing cold ! The lattice fries were not nice and clearly been sitting for a long time Nothing about our experience today was nice ! I asked for a milk shake and got an iced milky frappe ?? How is this restaurant allowed to operate in such a way !
The Cumbernauld Tim Hortons is dirty
The Cumbernauld Tim Hortons is dirty. My granddaughter drop a toy on the floor. I moved the couch back and underneath was old dried up chicken and roll, among dust and other food bits. This was around 10.30am so was not from that same day. Staff are slow and not very cheerful at all. The place has no friendly atmosphere. The staff look miserable to be there.
My roll with bacon was tepid and not very nice. They are still using paper cups when every other coffee place has gone back to using their glass cups. Do nuts are overpriced and coffee is very sour tasting don’t like it at all.
Their frozen drinks are lovely though on a really hot day
Lucky to get 1 star
Lucky to get 1 star. Cold, bland, revolting breakfast.sweetest, sickly iced coffee made me feel sick. Wont ever go back. Avoid and save your money. Gutted to have wasted a tenner to only throw the whole lot away, including the coffee.
