DO NOT USE this company. They have failed to deliver my order, and it is now over 30 days since I placed the order. They constantly tell me that the order is in transit and thank me for my patience.
They will not refund me and say they can't do anything. I paid for delivery protection, but seems irrelevant.
I can not stress enough that this is clearly a dummy company, I'm not sure I'll see my £76 again, although I'm making a claim for fraud through my bank.

In response to Toastybody's reply, they have told me that they can't actually do anything for me as the order is 'in transit'. I don't believe they have any intention of chasing the order, or refunding me.

One order I made came in the product box and looked legitimate. However, a second order I made came in a plastic bag with chinese writing on it. I would like to return it but still have not heard from anyone.

The website is very helpful, and everything is laid out in an easy-to-use format. Found everything I needed to get through the winter.

1. Heats very well, can feel the heat instantly.
2. Puffer fabric is lightweight but achieves the warmth needed. Can select different levels of heat which is easy to change by pressing the doohicky on front of jacket. It's very easy to pack for traveling. It doesn't take up much room.
3. The service was great, arrived timely as expected.
4. Be sure to purchase the power bank which fits inside of jacket. Easy to charge.
5. The size runs small, be sure to size up. I am keeping the 3X but will order the 5X.
7. Great buy for the price.
8. I would recommend this purchase to friends and others who enjoy being out and about during fall and winter.
9. It made for a great Christmas gift.

The ordering was easy! Make sure you pay attention to the actual measurements and not go off of size alone. I am overseas, so the shipping was a little longer but still within the expected timeframe and got it just in time for my wife for Christmas! My wife is a teacher and I thought this was a great idea for when she is on recess duty in the cold winter months. Fabric quality is good and durable and looks like it will hold up the rest of time and usage! Ease of using the website was great! Thanks Toastybody

High quality product compared to others I researched. I wish I would have known before ordering as a Christmas gift that they were located in England because the time frame they issued for shipping fell short of the actual time they promised it and ended up not making it to my residence by the time promised. When it did arrive it was well packaged and worked as described.

My husband bought a set of thermals for me for Christmas, I still have not seen all of it and it has come in three different packages. Who does that? Don’t even know if they work because the tracking info says the shirt won’t be here until June of next year. I am sure there is a better place to buy these from, try somewhere else.

The product was as expected but ordered several weeks before Christmas.
The shipment barely made it in time.

Had quite an adventure waiting delivery. The battery pack part of the purchase apparently was delivered to Ontario, California and spent several days there before it was turned around and forwarded. From that point only that package was trackable and had no idea whether or not package one was still on the way! The battery package arrived late on the 18th and the suit part appeared late on the 23rd.

Very helpful staff who kept in touch with me about the status of my delivery when I was worried it wouldn't arrive in time for Christmas. The electric gilet I purchased as a gift for my husband was a hit, especially in the recent cold snap and when our boiler broke down on Christmas day. He loves it.

It fits pretty well and it’s comfortable. It heats up pretty quick and lasts for almost a whole day

I purchased the Toastybody heated baselayer top, and hoped it would be the perfect cold weather solution I was looking for, and it would have been except for the following… Toastybody products just don’t fit. I mean not even close to fitting. I wear a men’s top in either medium or large. I initially ordered a large. When it arrived it looked aweful small, like a men’s x-small. I tried it on. Way, way too small. There was no label on the product, so I figured maybe they made a mistake. They were willing to ship a larger size, so I had them send an XL. Same issue. Way too small. Then they sent me a sizing chart. Their sizing chart listed a men’s 3XL as having a 41” chest. WHAT? Knowing that they don’t sell properly sized gear, I offered to return the top, and asked for a full refund. They sent me an email, for the second time, this time offering me 50% refund and 50% house credit. I accepted. Then today they sent me a email stating they won’t live up to their refund offer. Stating they only provide one resolution. And they didn’t want either tops back, always stating I should keep or donate. I donated. So bottomline. Product is nice, but useless if it doesn’t fit. I spent a lot of money on a poorly manufactured product that is incorrectly sized and therefore useless. I’ve since purchased a great heated vest from another company and sizing is perfect. Unfortunately I cannot recommend Toastybody, and would instead warn, Buyer Beware.

Life changing!! I just moved to Tuscany from a much warmer climate. There isn't much not to love about Tuscany....unless you don't like the cold in winter. I was worried the cold weather would stop me from wanting to go out at night or take early morning walks. I ordered a Toastybody base layer set and a fleece and it has made all the difference - now I never hesitate to spend time outside no matter what the weather. Extraordinary customer service, too. Thank you Toastybody!

Update: my request to return the second set that didn't fit for a refund was basically denied and I was offered another store credit. I declined because I want to get as far away from this scam company and their products as possible. I received a response that they would give me a 50% refund and a 50% store credit. Again, I declined. Now, I've gotten an email that they'll give me an 80% refund and a 20% store credit. This is unbelievable.

Ordered a base layer set as a Christmas gift. Didn't fit and you can't just send the items back for exchange or refund - you have to basically request permission to send back. My request was denied - no reason given. Since it was a gift, I spent another $200 and ordered another set in an XL. After repeated emails I was offered a store credit. I had already paid for the second order so I had to use the credit on items I really don't want. Now the second set doesn't fit - sleeves are extremely short. So, I've asked permission to return this set for refund. I do not want another store credit - I want to get away from this scam company. Stay away!

I am trying to get a refund because the vest was too small. Why would you not automatically allow this to be refunded?

The internal fabric is very gentle on the skin, so not much irritation for long wear time. The base insulation design is able to keep me warm down to -15 to -20C with a supporting winter jacket. The heating coils work quite well, but the distribution can occasionally feel a bit inconsistent; an internal grid pattern for the heating wire may help balance out the heat. It's an excellent base layer going down to -40C with heating able to keep my core temperature stable. They may want to consider adding vibration pads as well for increasing blood flow simultaneously as heating; increasing their market share to being a medical product as well. Good battery life, low stretch (so caution on the size you buy), & battery pouches double as pockets (one on either side would be better for convenience & OCD). Fantastic product, wish they were cheaper tbh so I could rationalize having more pairs.

This was bought as a Christmas present for my mum and we both couldn't be happier. The package arrived in time and my mum loves the product! The size I ordered was a little snug for her ideal fit so I messaged customer service about exchanges. They sent a brand new one in the preferred size and told us to keep or gift the other one. Really appreciate it and my aunty loves the other vest!

Fantastic gilets and batteries. Good warmth locations in several places without being overly hot.

All good with design, materials, sizing and stitching etc quality.

Perhaps a minor suggestion that the battery pocket be larger so the battery can be located front, side or back depending on your activity. Side for when hands in pockets or back for when wearing at work carrying items for example - not a star dropper though.
