Returned shoes - no refund

Ordered shoes to help me at work as they stated they were comfortable, returned as wasn’t keen on the feel of the shoe (in original box, all pieces inside the box as requested.

Received email to say they had got my return on the 12/5. Still waiting to receive my refund, have emailed support a week ago through website and have no reply as of today 22/5

These shoes were a lot of money, and I returned within the time frame. Please bare this in mind when ordering.

I’m so disappointed with my Toffeln…



I’m so disappointed with my Toffeln trainers. After being out of work for six months, £80 was a lot of money for me to spend. However, knowing I would be on my feet all day working as a domestic in a hospital, I wanted to invest in good-quality, supportive footwear.
The reviews mentioned comfort, but I’ve found the soles to be rock hard. None of the insoles provided were comfortable, as they didn’t suit my arch at all. I even bought Scholl gel insoles to try to improve the comfort, but they only help slightly because the trainers themselves have no cushioning or bounce.
Unfortunately, I’m now stuck with them until I receive my first wage, as I can’t afford to replace them yet. Every day at work my feet are killing me.
I feel very disappointed, frustrated, and honestly quite ripped off. Please consider carefully before spending your money on these trainers.

Fantastic customer service.

I purchase some clogs earlier this year, they sadly had a fault which only came to light some months later. When I contacted Toffeln, they immediately sorted the issue and replaced the shoes in question within a couple of days. I was so grateful and happy with communication and super speedy service. I would definitely recommend Toffeln and Chris was very helpful indeed.

Good shoe and wonderful service

I have been wearing Toffeln Klimaflex Clogs for about 5/6 years now. I have Morton’s Neuroma and these shoes do not aggravate the neuroma!! Bought a new pair in Feb and for some reason one of them has cracked. I messaged Toffeln and spoke to Mercedez - what a wonderful experience! She was sympathetic and very helpful and within 24 hrs - a replacement pair is on their way!! Very happy with the customer service and grateful for their kindness. A very big thank you

Everything is fine again after the problem.

Hi, now that management has contacted me and resolved the issues with returns from other countries, everything seems to be okay. I was also given a discount for the long waiting time. Now I can finally wear proper slippers to work again. Full stars for that!

I placed an order and the wrong size was delivered. After a lot of back and forth, they tried to send me a return label, but nothing came of it. Now I'm stuck with a product I can throw away. This is misinformation, or rather, fraud.

Really hard and uncomfortable

Bought these because I'm a barber and on my feet all day also needed something that had no laces. Read reviews and took a chance as price is a lot. Unfortunately these were still not compatible with my feet and I originally left a negative review in response to the refund policy of a refund if not satisfied as long as shoes are not worn which is silly how can you know if shoes are comfortable if you don't walk in them for a period of time. Toffeln customer service reached out and offered me a full refund as I wasn't happy with the comfort. I cannot fault the customer service even though the shoes were not great for my feet.

Shoes peeled off after 3 wears

Ordered a pair of work shoes. Received as expected. Even left a 5 star rating on the company website and recommended as it was a genuinely comfy shoes. However, after 3 wears and within a week, the top skin of shoes began to peel. I complained via the company website and tried to withdraw my review and rating, but the site is programmed in such a way you can't edit. After almost 2 months of managing it is now a complete mess. This was my first buy from this company. Customer care/relations is zero. These shoes are not cheap and I have got no value for my money. What a loss for me!

I have an update.

Toffein reached out to me recently.
They apologised and offered to make things right.
I accepted their offer.

They generously gave me a £100 voucher to spend on their website. Days later I got a full refund of my initial purchase.

I have spent the voucher on a more solid colour footwear with smart sole and a compression socks. Got some spare in-soles and jelly sweets as well!

Delivery was quick and items very comfortable.

I have worn my new shoes for the first time today(19/02/25) and I must say it is very comfortable for long hours of standing and walking.

I am happy this has now been resolved.

Great Experience with Product and Service

I had a great experience with ordering products from Toffeln. I ordered the SmartSole shoes and was really pleased with the product. I had a few questions about my order and the customer service was second to none. They've been really helpful and it's been a pleasure dealing with them. Would highly recommend.

Not happy

Not happy , very hangry with Toffeln. I bought a shoes size 4 order number 61415. I paid by Klarna.

I received on 28/11 the shoes but on same day I returned the shoes because the size was small and is supposed to be size 5. I now was my mistake.

But I m really so disappointed that toffeln already received the return from me on 30/11 . And no response no reply nothing.
I have the proof of tracking number how Toffeln received it
I cancelled the Klarna payment.

Great shoes, Great service

I’m not writing about the shoes quality (that for me is great anyway). I’m writing about their service. I ordered a pair of nursing shoes that were too large and I followed their easy instructions to return the item. That went very smoothly, Royal mail collected the item and delivered to toffeln that immediately refunded me and the new size of shoes I bought is perfect.
