A special thank you to April, our brilliant designer, whose vision and patience was very much appreciated! Luke, our installer, was meticulous, professional, and a true perfectionist in every sense. Matt’s finishing touches and attention to the finer details were flawless, adding that final layer of refinement that makes all the difference. And last but certainly not least, Don, who oversaw the entire installation, deserves huge praise for his coordination and unwavering eye for detail - it all came together perfectly under his guidance.

After looking at TH kitchens as we embarked on our renovation journey we were sold from the first visit to the Edinburgh showroom.
Michelle our designer listened to everything we asked for and we were blown away with the design she presented us for a kitchen, bar and media wall.
Michelle had an answer for all our queries and the custom aspect of their Kitchens is truly fantastic.
Every visit to the showroom we were made extremely welcome.
When we were handed to the installation team Don was fantastic at organising everything and keeping us informed.
Mark the fitter was exceptional, so precise and what a fantastic job he done.
Lisa the painter again was superb and a such a talented painter.
All of the contacts in our TH experience we came across have been very talented people totally justifies the price you are paying.

We purchased our kitchen from Tom Howley in June 2025. Communication during design and fitting was excellent. Ty did an excellent job of following up regarding a replacement Quooker tap and organising his team to attend to some minor drawer adjustments.

Julianne Regnard provided excellent creative designs in a tricky space, very visionary, considered and thoughtful, full of great ideas and quickly tuned in to what we wanted and could do.
Helen Thornell was a fantastic Project Manager with a keen eye for detail, and always on our side, plus great fun to work with. Always on top of her game, and anticipating the next step and what would happen. She was very reassuring and a calming influence on us at what was always going to be a stressful time.
Matt Brown and later with Mark and Andy are highly skilled fitters, delivered a quality product, nothing too much trouble and always listened carefully to what we said, plus they were all considerate people working in our house. Matt was especially very hard working and did some very long days to meet deadlines.
Joe Thornell did the painting and was a delight, careful, considerate and thorough and left our kitchen with beautiful finished paintwork.
Everyone was very reliable. Turned up on time. Communicated well and were quick and efficient in their work.
We have been left with the most beautiful kitchen which we are now really enjoying. It does mean we won't be able to move from our house now for at least 30 years....

This review is not about the quality of the cabinets - we are pleased with that aspect. They are a very cookie cutter organization and lack imagination, so if you want any unique aspects, you need to do those design and decorative elements yourself. However, the cabinets themselves are nice.
The reason I am giving them 1 star is due to the terrible customer service and follow through. They charge a fortune, but they clearly do not care about delivering a complete experience. The staff are completely apathetic. Communication was inconsistent and often delayed.
At time of delivery, we were told by one of the installers that our "site manager" would be away on holiday for a month, so there was nobody overseeing the project and nobody to answer our many questions. He never bothered to call or send an email to let us know. At least, TH could have replaced him in his absence. We contacted his manger a couple of times, but he was equally as indifferent and unhelpful. After delivery, the cabinets sat there for weeks when we were originally told they would be installed at delivery. During instal, parts were missing or broken so the whole thing dragged on for ages.
One aspect that we had explicitly requested with our kitchen and pantry was that all our cabinets go to the ceiling without leaving a gap. We live in the country and didn't want to create a fly trap. They told us on many occasions that THIS WOULD NOT BE A PROBLEM. Needless to say, they do not go to the ceiling and there are different size gaps on each piece of furniture. The installer told us that they could be adjusted, but the same manager flat out said it would not be fixed.
The touch up painter that came after installation was one of the worst experiences in dealing with this company: She dropped blue paint on the stone floor that can not be removed, poured blue paint down the drain staining the brass sink waste kit (I can't get it off no matter what I have tried), and then spilled soup on our brand new fabric bar stool. I had to have it retwined. When I complained to the project manager, he insinuated I was lying and blamed one of the other trades that were in the house. There was absolutely no one else in the house and she even insisted that there was to be no one around while she was there painting, so that no dust would effect her work. She also hadn't been in the house for more than a few minutes when we got an earful of her politics which is very unprofessional. We were also told on multiple occasions that we would have a 6 month structural follow up. When I followed through with this recently, I was told that they do not have this service.
According to the contract, you pay 100 % up front before the job is complete, so once they have your money, THEY DON'T CARE, they are passive-aggressively rude, and leave damage that they don't repair. There was never a follow up email or call from any TH staff to see how we like our kitchen or to discuss the experience.
There are many kitchen companies around, so save yourself a lot of trouble and worry and don't hire TH. I suspect their poor behaviour will start to catch up with them and eventually affect their reputation. That is what they deserve.
EDIT regarding the comment from TH (below): As stated in my review, we were told by YOUR STAFF at the PLANNING STAGE that there would be no gap in the furniture, and we were also told by YOUR STAFF that there would be a six month follow up. The communication was terrible and the whole experience frustrating, so please do not come in after the review with untruths and false concern.

The expertise of the designer at the Bristol branch, the install team of Chris & Tom Hughes, the painter Joe Thornell and finally the Installation Manager Helen Thornell for delivering an unbelievably high quality kitchen that has transformed our kitchen space.
What may have originally felt beyond us has turned into an extraordinarily pleasing experience.

We started our journey with Tom Howley back in September 2024 after approaching the West Bridgford branch. Our installation started in April 2025 as planned and the project finally completed a couple of weeks ago (September 2025)
Our experience with Connie (designer) and the installers (Stan & Andy) was an extremely positive one. A special mention to Stan & Andy actually - they really were fantastic and if you are lucky enough to be assigned them to do your installation you have struck gold in our opinion!
The product itself - a beautiful 'Butler' kitchen in 'moonstone' has met all of our expectations
However there is a big BUT coming... our aftercare experience which has been below par
It has been extremely slow with communication being very poor at times. There has been the general feel that we were put to the back of queue once the main installation was complete and if you are not constantly chasing the snags & issues (albeit not many) you would never actually have a completed kitchen!
I would recommend Tom Howley however I would advise to be wary of the aftercare stage and recommend that you are on the ball when it comes to chasing. If you are not shouting loudly with Tom Howley you could be forgotten!

We expected a smooth, high-end experience with Tom Howley. Instead, we were met with poor guidance, rushed sign-offs, and a lack of accountability when things went wrong.
The kitchen looks beautiful, but the layout does not meet essential functional needs. We were pushed to approve documents quickly, and once signed, there was no room for adjustment, even when the outcome was clearly problematic.
Communication has been inconsistent. A large unit was delivered to our home with no notice and left blocking our entrance for over 10 days. No explanation, no solution.
A brand that promises excellence, but delivers stress, mismanagement, and disappointing client care.

We love our new kitchen from Tom Howley! Just installed and awaiting the final paint and a minor shelf adjustment. We had a great experience working with Sandra in the design team at Wigmore Street. She fully understood the style and scheme we wanted for our new kitchen, had helpful suggestions throughout the process and also assisted as needed with appliances that I bought separately so that everything tied-in well. We needed to get our kitchen done quickly to fit with our house renovation schedule and the Tom Howley team made it happen. Sandra was super helpful and checked-in with us throughout the process, and Sean (our installer) worked very hard to get it all completed in time. A great quality product as well - we’re so pleased 👍
