This product is basically fine. It is easier to use for wriggly babies than a clippers or scissors. For square nails it's hard to get the corners leaving them sharper than before when they grow out. Not being rechargeable is annoying. The adult focused nail care heads are very poor. They left my nail surface rough no matter what order I try. Also, I wouldn't use this to keep adult nails short unless you love inhaling nail dust.
I found this product really useful with my baby, but I can't leave more than two stars because they don't sell replacement file heads. The little heads wear out, and the only option is to just buy a whole new electric file??? Really environmentally unsustainable, not to mention expensive.
Great product but need to be able to buy replacement head separately- this seems like something so basic. Come on tommee tippee. For this reason I wouldn't recommend this product. Such a waste of a perfectly fine electric nail file in a world that is trying to promote sustainability.
I've had this nail file for about a year or so now and my daughter HATES it! As soon as it comes out, she cowers away in fear and starts crying her eyes out. I'll admit it is safer to use than nail clippers as she doesn't stay still and I'm more likely to cut her with nail clippers. However, the battery life is shockingly bad! I have to change the batteries every time I use it because it takes so long to file her nails. It would have been better if it was rechargeable so I wouldn't have to continuously buy batteries. My main issue with this product is the same issue everyone seems to have with it, NO REPLACEMENT HEADS!!!! 😡Why sell a product as reusable when it's not?! You can only use it until the heads wear out and then it's as good as rubbish. Considering the amount of reviews about this same exact problem, you would think they would start selling the heads seperately but no, they still haven't! 🙄 Until they decide to sell the heads seperately, I wouldn't waste your money on this product and look elsewhere for one!
A good file but I have to give it 1* for value and overall because Tomme Tippee have still failed to provide replacement heads for this. It is therefore terrible value for money and terrible for the environment. When Tommee Tippee release readily available and reasonably priced heads then I'll upgrade my review.
I love this nail file and makes managing my newborn’s nails a lot less stressful. Would be good if we could get replacement heads to prolong the use of the product. I was wanting to check if the leaflet is incorrect though as the buff and shape appear to be the wrong way round. Logically I wouldn’t be able to shape my nail with the white material so I’m assuming if anyone buffed their nail with the silver material they would really damage their names. Let me know pls - this is on the leaflet in the product and also on the amazon listing and the boots website.
ive used this 2 times before & this was the third time cutting my 3 month old babys nails with this product, i used the file head which is for 3+ months & its took some skin off of his finger😡 i thought this was a safe product to use to prevent cutting the skin! very unhappy
Perfect for the intent for which it was created - instead of fighting my baby girl with scissors, in 5 mins, both her manicure and pedicure are done. There is however a major flaw with its design - Tommee Tippee does not sell the file heads separately, so effectively, you are spending a significant amount of money for a almost disposable electric file. Certainly, there are file heads on amazon, but they're all low quality. Massive failure in design and marketing. Disappointing. Would not buy again, would purchase it from different brand.

this e.baby nail file is so good, have been using for 2 years. If you are selling the nail file re-fill, or replaceable nail file, that would be perfect, we need to replace by now, and it would be environmental friendly, instead of replacing the whole electrical device. Excellent product. The baby has never once noticed or been woken up for this product, and it's incredibly easy to use. One small point though, where do you buy additional files from?! Ours have worn out!

Is very easy and very very comfortable for me and for my baby I was scared to cut my daughter's nails with other products, but this product made the whole process easier, it's wonderful.
Great, safe way to trim my baby’s nails. Love the light so I can use it at night while he’s asleep without waking him.
