The horn for the pump is so big that I can hardly get any milk out. I even bought silicone flange inserts from Amazon however due to the shape of the horn they won’t fit in properly and I still have the same issue. There is nowhere on the website or online to buy a smaller sized horn - they only sell inserts for the wearables. I bought the whole range of tommee tippee bottles and steriliser etc so just made sense to buy the manual pump to make life easier but unfortunately this has made everything more difficult as I will now need to buy a new pump from somewhere else that will actually fit me.

The pump is great, easy to use and wash. I get a good amount from using this pump as well. Only down side is the size it comes with is large, however customer service were extremely helpful and sent out more sizes for me to try. Definitely recommend.

Lovely pump. Easy to use and take apart to clean. However, as most people report, the horn is too big and I can’t see where to buy different sizes. Didn't think to read reviews before I brought due to Tommee Tippee reputation but wish I had.

Love the pump design and feel, however the horn is too big and I can’t see where to buy alternative sizes, making it unusable.

I have had another brand for years without trouble. Had to get a new pump over christmas as my sick child isn't latching and if accidentally thrown my other one out The tommee tippee was going to arrive first. It arrived and as a proficient breastfeeder and pumper this is the worst product ever. The horn size is huge. Much too larger for 99% of women. Despite having full breasts I could not pump anything out at all. Ive had to resort to manually expressing again. Total waste of money

Hi Miss Butler,

We are so sorry to hear you've not been able to use our Manual Breast Pump as the horn size is too big for you.

We have a range of smaller sizes available that we'd like to send to you. One of our Parent Care Specialists have reached out to you via email to get this arranged.

We'l
l look forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes,
Tommee Tippee

Want to love this as the design is really nice. However the flange size is huge and therefore milk doesn't extract well and drips out when detaching from the breast. No option to downside included either!

Love the design and how convenient it is to just pick up and pump. I’m just really disappointed that it comes with a huge horn size of 24mm that doesn’t fit everyone. I’ve been unable to use the pump because it’s just so big, it doesn’t collect any milk it drips out of the horn and over myself, it doesn’t fit onto the breast.

The flange doesn't fit snugly so the pump doesn't produce enough pressure to extract milk. Additionally, it only comes with a single flange size which is far too big and no option to buy other sizes, so even after taping the leaky flange the pump is unusable

Super disappointed with this product. With no size options for the flange, it’s just so big. It leaks at the bottom everywhere everytime (at first I just thought I was doing something wrong as a new mum!!) and it hurts to use as the flange is too big.

Waste of money, after being recommended this I thought it would be great however I regret this being my choice of pump. Doesn’t feel like much suction at all and all my milk just leaked from the bottom of the breast cup which as a mum struggling with breastfeeding this was horrible

Absolutely gutted with this product i bought this Tommee Tippee breast pump yesterday and was really disappointed. The pump handle does not connect properly to the main body, meaning it simply doesn’t work as intended. Even if it did, the design is overly complicated and very time-consuming to put back together, which is the last thing you need when caring for a newborn. I expected better quality and reliability from such an essential product. I hope I can return this, I wouldn’t recommend this model to other parents.

I wouldn't recommend this pump to anyone, I have tried to persevere with it and tried every 'trick' I can and I just end up with blocked ducts and in an extreme amount of pain. Last night was the final straw. I expressed 30mls in total after 40 mins and still felt full (using the manual pump as it was quieter) switched to the electric pump as it wasnt working and I expressed a further 180mls in 10 mins. The suction is awful and particularly in the early days it made me feel like my milk supply was diminishing (which it wasnt). This has only ever been used as a last resort for me and every time I wish I hadn't. Save your money and don't buy it.

Tommee Tippee Manual Breast Pump – Utterly Useless and Deeply Disappointing We had high hopes when investing in the full Tommee Tippee range — bottle warmer, steriliser, bottles, and breast pump — thinking we were choosing a trusted brand that would make life with a newborn that little bit easier. Sadly, the manual breast pump has been nothing short of a complete disaster. Let’s start with the utter lack of suction. No matter how carefully we assembled or adjusted the parts, the pump simply did not work. Instead of expressing milk efficiently or comfortably, it resulted in nothing but frustration and mess. The design is appalling. There’s no seal, no grip, no sense that this product has been tested on real mothers. The result? Breast milk pouring down my partner’s body while she sat there stressed out — and me, as a father, left powerless to help or bottlefeed express milk. See photo attached. That was after 30 mins of pumping. We wanted to trust Tommee Tippee — we invested in the whole system. But if the pump is any reflection of the rest of the range, we’re seriously questioning that decision. It’s frankly insulting to market this as a functional product for new parents. Do not waste your money. We wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. Tommee Tippee needs to go back to the drawing board.

This is the worst Tommee Tippee product i have bought. I would not recommend this pump even to my enemy. How can a business continue sell a product which is consistently failing to fulfill the needs of a baby and a mum. No suction from the pump, can't collect a single drop of milk. I have an adjustable suction electric pump which works so much better. Only bought manual pump to support my travelling and convinience but waste of time, money and effort. Stay away from this pump.

Out of the 5 breast pumps I have used this is the worst pump, I do not recommend this to anyone. I’ve tried to use this several times and cannot express a single drop of milk with it. It’s a completely waste of money. There is no suction whatsoever when trying to pump, extremely disappointed with it.

I bought this pump as a backup in case my electric pumps needed charging. Safe to say I’m massively disappointed and wish I could get my money back. I did manage to get quite a good output, so I don’t have the issue other people seem to be having about not getting any milk. But I noticed after well over the usual twenty minutes of pumping it takes to empty me, I didn’t feel empty. I took the pump off and it somehow emptied half of my breast?? One side was soft, the other side was still full and had swollen ducts (I put my nipple directly in the centre). I hand expressed another 10ml and then I switched to my electric and got another 30ml! So 40ml of breast milk was still left in my breast after about half of an hour of pumping.

I bought the Tommee Tippee manual breast pump from Boots, and it has been a huge letdown. As a first-time mom with a good milk supply, I was excited to try this pump, but I barely got a drop out of it. The flange is way too big, and shockingly, it doesn’t come with any other size options or inserts. Not every woman is the same, so it’s unacceptable that they don’t consider different breast sizes! There were other pumps available at Boots, but I decided to go with Tommee Tippee, thinking it would be efficient based on the brand’s reputation. What a mistake! It’s clear this product was poorly designed, and I’m frustrated with how uncomfortable and ineffective it is.

Got this manual pump from boots as a first time mum to try. Upon trying multiple times, I can barely get a drop of milk out, and I do have supply. Is it the mechanism I do not know but nothing comes out. Extremely disappointed and feel like a waste of money as for double the price cost of this manual pump you can find an electric hands free one.
