Widely inaccurate. Gives temperatures between 36.9 and 38.8 within seconds of eachother in the same spot. My daughter is unwell with a fever and I purchased this in hope to make it easier to monitor her. Greatly disappointed with the product.
This product isn't accurate my daughters temp was showing as normal but she was burning up , luckily my neighbour has a alternative which showed a temp of 39.0.
This thermometer is not accurate at all. My toddler is burning hot yet the thermometer says that his temperature is 36.4 Celsius. When I check the side of his head it tells me he is 38.4 and then the other side says 37.0. For something so important this is awful and should not be on the market!
This thermoter is wildly inaccurate. For such an important baby product it's nigh criminal to have this on the market.
Really disappointed with this product. It is supposed to be for babies/toddlers and give me reassurance that baby was ok after multiple hospital stays with temperatures. The temp reads 36.7 to 36.9 and ive never had above or below this meanwhile baby had a temp of 38.2 with their tympanic thermometer which matched the doctors. A lot of money for an inaccurate product.
The idea behind this thermometer is great, but it just doesn’t deliver. The readings were consistently inaccurate. My baby had a fever and felt very hot to the touch, but the thermometer gave a reading of 37°C — which is considered normal. I delayed visiting the doctor because I trusted the product and assumed he was fine. Thankfully, I listened to my instincts and went anyway. When the doctor checked, his temperature was actually 39.3°C. As a first-time mum, I relied on this product to give me accurate information. Instead, it gave me false reassurance and delayed me seeking help. That’s not just disappointing — it’s dangerous. The outcome could have been much worse. My advice to anyone considering this thermometer: please read the reviews carefully. There are cheaper, more reliable options out there. Don’t waste your money or risk your child’s health on a product you can’t trust.
Really disappointed with this product as I purchased it when my baby was born, he is now 3 months each time I have done the temperature using this i feel it gives false readings. As a first time mum checking your child’s temperature is scary when it shows a high reading and when checking again seconds after it would show a perfectly healthy temp the reading went from 37.9 to 36.8 and I have notice it does this many times. For a price of £50 it really isn’t worth the money when it continues to show false readings :(
Bought this thermometer when little one was sick. For the price you pay the readings are so inaccurate. Reading of 38.1 Down to 37 in seconds. Nothing changed between readings as second reading was taken straight after I got the 38.1 due to sheer panic at a high temp with a poorly baby. Wouldn’t recommend to be honest as a sick baby is already a worry with out high to low temp readings in seconds
My little brother, 3 months of age, has just had his jabs and has been quite poorly. We have been monitoring his temperature with the thermometer and have come to realize just how inaccurate this is! As a family, trying to take care of a baby at midnight, is infuriating. Especially with a faulty product. My mother has stayed up the whole night constantly checking his temperature, only to realize it has changed every single time. It has sometimes changed from 38.1 to 36.7 in a matter of seconds, which is clearly not an accurate reading! This’ll be going in the rubbish as of tomorrow. Please avoid this product at all cost, it’ll drive you mad!!
Easy to use and excellent value for money instead of going to shops
I received this product from Tommee Tippee to give my honest review about it and very easy to set up just apply the batteries and it works very easily at just pointing to your child’s forehead and it does it automatically. I would say this is so easy to the thermometer that you after put under your kids arm and wait for it to go up and ping and makes your child not like it and cry, overall I would say for a baby and toddler this is great for taking temperature super quick and easy and get a exact reading
Seems accurate to me, a lot more convenient than the under the armpit version. Of course more expensive but nice to get a reading without disturbing the baby.
You can lose your mind thinking your little one has very high temperature. Not accurate, waste of money! Do not buy ever!
