Excellent service, super fast delivery

Bought a Spear and Jackson 4oz ball pein hammer, when it arrived the head was not fitted to the shaft squarely. Postage costs to return this item would be more than it is worth. Sent an email to Toolnut who requested me to send photographs of the item. After sending photographs I received a reply from Matt who has arranged for a new replacement item to be sent to me at no cost to myself. Nice one Matt

I ordered a Veritas Steel straight edge from Toolnut , it was dispatched imediately. Unfortunately someone had packaged the Aluminium version instead of the Steel one. I immediately emailed the company and Matt contacted me and resolved the slip up immediately.Good as his word a steel version arrived and he told me to keep the wrong one as well. Big thankyou for a good product and excellant customer service.

Fantastic company, very well priced with quick delivery and they realy do go the extra mile to help. Eg one of the individual turning chisels I bought had a lighter handle than the rest of the ones I have ( all henry taylor ) they contacted them to try to replace it for me, kept in constant communication and have noted even on my acc for all future orders to make sure they actively pick the darker handled for me :) would highly recommend. 10/10 ps Thanks matt.

It's great that Toolnut offer quality and bespoke hand tools, that are not available everywhere else. Their prices are competitive and Matt is always friendly and approachable if there's an issue with an order.

Very prompt despatch and despite all the doom and gloom caveats for delivery, my new tool was safely delivered very quickly, in fact next day. As usual, Crown tools do not disappoint, unlike other somewhat cheaper makes. It was well packaged, with extra protection over the cutting end of the tool – very good

I used this website for the first time because my usual tool supplier was out of stock for that particular tool. The plane arrived quickly in good condition except for a very shallow scratch on the sole which seems to have faded when I set up the plane; nonetheless I see this as a reason to take away a star, as this damage could have been worse.
