Excellent
Easy to order, reasonable price, super fast delivery.
Loved that I got a text saying what time my delivery was expected.
Only one negative - thought the delivery charge was a little on the expensive side.
Might recommend that Tools and Timber get some advertising about providing lime blanks as they seem to be quite hard to get hold of in the UK and I only found them here by a lot of searching.

When paying £5.95 for delivery of six dowels I expect next day delivery, however my order was not dispatched for 2 days.

- Postage costs are always something we try to keep as low as possible so we are very disappointed that you feel we have charged you too much.
- As our website states in the terms and conditions we have 1-5 business days to ship your package and your order will be receieved within that time frame.
- Our packing team works exceptionally hard packing orders around the clock so that our customers receive their orders as soon as possible.
Our actual costs for your package were over £5.95 and your order was £16 in total so in fact we absorbed some of the cost to get your package delivered to you quickly at the cheapest price.
We are sorry that you feel you have been let down but we have done everything in our power to get you a quality product at the best price possible.

Some issue but bent over backwards to put them right.
After checking available stock I ordered a specific plane through the website. I needed a three day delivery. I was contacted shortly after to tell me that there was an error with the system and that Plane was not in stock offering a full refund with apology.
This was a leaving gift for a colleague so the specific plane wasn't that important so they managed to find me a suitable alternative and also ship it on an overnight delivery at no additional cost.
I now have the plane and my colleague will be presented with it tomorrow. Excellent customer service!

Wrong shipping cost for aborad deliveries
I wanted to buy a Jet 10-20 drum sander and G&S Specialist Timber were the ones that had the best price including shipping so I ordered from them. After a few days I get an email that they are unaccustomed to deliver abroad and they
wanted Additional £100 for delivery. When I decided to cancel the purchase it took a while to get my money back.
Before the purchase, I had asked a question using their "Contact Us" form, but I got no response.
They need to fix the following:
* Respond to questions sent to them ("Contact Us" form)
* Correct shipping charge for deliveries abroad
* Faster feedback

I certainly wasn't 'Beeched' using Tools and Timber !
I ordered Beech wood dowel rods on the Sunday and they arrived on the Tuesday ! Excellent price, service and follow up. I can not recommend Tools and Timber highly enough and I will be returning again.
