ordered and paid for parts 3 wks later no delivery, emailed got no reply , luckily I used Paypal so got a refund , BEWARE IF CONSIDERING ORDERING FROM HERE , I WILL NOT USE AGAIN !!!

Ordered 3 Teng empty tool trays on the 05/01/25, still not received, loads of excuses about bad weather, and parcel water damaged, there customer service is none
existent, which is a shame, because I have spent several thousands of pounds with this firm over the years and the customer service was very good, won't be using Toolshack again, and will cancel online account.

Order no #000067744 placed order for 3x small bits back in August 24, total value £25. Nothing arrived within the time frame of 1-3 working days as per the order. Started calling them, spoke to JONATHAN every time. This person is a compulsive liar, used all the usual lies such as warehouse lost item, supplier delays, even provided a false tracking number and then blamed courier for misplacing the parcel. It has been 4 months and this joke of a company has not fulfilled their part of contract yet. Official complaint sent to their email and no response received, trading standards contacted as well as the bank. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY IF YOU VALUE YOUR MENTAL WELLBEING.

Purchased item on the 26/09/24, cancelled order on the 04/10/24 due to delivery hold ups. I was told on the 04/10/24 when I cancelled the order that a refund would be processed immediately. Rang Toolshack on 07/10/24 and was told the refund would be processed that day, however no refund was sent to my paypal account. Rang seller again on the 09/10/24 and again told the refund would be processed by the end of that business day, no refund was delivered to my account. I have now raised a case with PayPal. I own a medium sized garage with three mechanics other than snap on we also use Teng Tools, we will purchase Teng Tools from other suppliers from now on. Will never use Toolshack again absolutely disgusting treatment.

I placed an order with Toolshack UK Limited, and it was far from a pleasant experience. The order was placed on Friday, 9th August 2024, at 11:58 AM. I paid £4.99 + VAT for P&P, with the expectation of delivery within 1-3 working days, meaning I should have received it by the following Wednesday or Thursday at the latest.

When I called on Wednesday for an update, I was informed that the order was being dispatched that day and would arrive the following day. However, by Monday, 19th August 2024, the order still had not arrived. I called again and was told that the representative would contact the carrier to obtain a tracking number and call me back. I immediately suspected dishonesty, as they should have had the tracking number on hand. An hour later, I had to call back myself, only to be told that the delivery would arrive by 14:00 that day. The representative claimed the package had been sent the previous week but was returned to them. I requested a copy of the tracking number and am still waiting for it. When I asked for a refund on the P&P, I was dismissed.

14:00 came and went without any delivery, so I called again around 15:00 and spoke to Johnathan. He repeated the same story but assured me that the parcel would be delivered the next day before 10:00 AM. He even had the nerve to mention that sending the item pre-10:00 was costing them more, despite clearly knowing they had messed up the order. When I told Johnathan about my experience, he offered me 25% off my next order. Given what I've been through, I wouldn't want to shop with them again.

Before making these calls, I had sent four consecutive emails, none of which received the courtesy of a response.

Ordered an item on a Friday, received a similar item for Father’s Day, so I cancelled the order by email. Despite 6 phone calls (each one saying they have cancelled it and will refund the money) over a week later, still no refund or email acknowledgement. Had to raise a case with PayPal, so at least I’ll get my money back…. Avoid this company!

Called to chase my missing delivery on three separate days. Each time was told its on the way. Nothing every arrived. Avoid

I purchased a set of Teng Screwdrivers from Toolshack. Although they stated that I would be notified when the item had been sent, this did not occur. However, the tools arrived safely within 4 working days. Accurate description and well packaged.
Despite a lot of negative reviews, the only downside for me, is not keeping customers informed as to the progress of their order. Hence the four out of five review.

placed a very urgent £1300 order only because it promised 1-3 day delivery …now 5 days later and despite various calls and emails chasing my order all have been ignored …even after i was told they would call me straight back STILL NOTHING YET THEY TOOK MY MONEY IMMEDIATELY 😡😡😡😡will be cancelling my order tomorrow and will go elsewhere AVOID AVOID AVOID

Ordered 2 sockets for an urgent job, as I was only in preston they sent there own delivery guy who delivered both within an hour of ordering. Great team and service.

Don't know why there's all these bad reviews. Ordered some new spanners and received them within 3 days. They also came in £40 cheaper than any other company. Very happy with the service I was provided

Awful experience! Best avoid. I have an outstanding item for an order placed 12/09/2023 despite numerous phone calls chasing this with promises to send me the outstanding item. In the end I made a formal complaint via email - guess what even that has been ignored!

Tool initially ordered on 16 October 23, I never received notification of shipping and never received the item. I contacted the seller several times, initially I was told that the item had been sent out without a tracking number and was presumably lost. I then told that another item would be sourced and sent out. I heard nothing back and contacted them again. I was told that it had been sent out again. I heard nothing more for over a week and did not receive the item or notification of shipping. I made the final call to the company on 16 October 23 and was told that the item had been sent out, but after the person I spoke to checked the tracking number it transpired that it had been delivered to another address in an area, around 100 miles away! In the same call I was then told that the item was now no longer available and I would receive a full refund arranged by the end of play that day. I did not and the refund was issued by PayPal after a complaint was made.

Sent the wrong item. Failed to respond to any of my emails. After 7 days still no reply! Do not waste your time with this company. There are plenty of other good tool sellers out there.

Sadly an order that was quoted as 1-3 days took 9 day to arrives, and when received it could be seen that the item was only posted on the 7th Day after I had chased Toolshack on the telephone twice, in an attempt to find out where the item was. Sadly the attitude of the staff, when questioned about the late delivery, tried to tell me that it was actually 5 working days, if that had been the case I would have not ordered it ! and to top it all I was charged £5 for the delivery !! Make sure you have the time to wait !

The cheapest I could find this tool kit anywhere, then knocked £20odd off, without me even asking. Ordered and paid for on last working week before Christmas, told they could not deliver until New Year, which was fine and what I wanted. Arrived on a pallet, all present and correct. Great service. Invoice was not on package, rang them and it was emailed within minutes.
Highly recommended.

I bought a Teng Tools wheel wrench and socket from Toolshack. The wheel wrench was faulty so I contacted Toolshack who recommended I get in touch with Teng Direct. Teng quoted their T&Cs to me (even though I had bought the item from Toolshack) and would not pay postage. So I got back to Toolshack who have not yet offered to cover the postage. I am 'shielding' and do not want to visit a post office and it's not worth the effort and cost of organising a courier. So I'm left with a wrench I can't use. Will bin it and buy another elsewhere.
