Top service

So this is my personal experience of this company and obviously every one has different views
I got contacted by this company for money I correctly owed and had failed to keep up with an arrangement with their client
I got in touch pretty much straight away and the client wasn't going to accept my offer of a repayment plan but I'm pretty sure the woman I was dealing with , Naomi, managed to persuade if that's the correct term to get the plan in order
I've just paid off the last payment and it's been a painful experience but I found the whole team pretty much helpful and respectful
As I said before in this review and others , everyone has a different experience but in my case I owed the money and it was hands up . I didn't find them pushy anytime but it was a stage before going to court which isn't for me
Id personally like to say thank you to all I dealt with but a really special thank you to Naomi for all your help

Misleading Practices and Breach of FCA Guidelines

Our company recently received a “debt collection letter” from Top Service Ltd, only to discover it wasn’t real debt recovery. After contacting their helpdesk, I learned they allow their clients to send letters under their branding, using fake personas like “Alex Smith,” to create the false impression of formal third-party debt collection.

These letters explicitly state, “We have been instructed to act on behalf of our client,” even though no actual third-party action has occurred. This is a clear breach of FCA guidelines, which require transparency and prohibit misleading practices.

Top Service Ltd enables its clients to exploit their name and branding to intimidate recipients with false claims of legal action or escalation. This kind of service misleads people and creates unnecessary distress, especially when the debt hasn’t even been properly invoiced or validated.

I am reporting this to the FCA, as these practices are unethical and potentially unlawful. If you’ve received one of these letters, be aware it may not be a legitimate debt recovery process.

Harassment

Harassment, threatening letters. No attempt to clarify debt or question details of dates/times/costs.
A gang of bullying, condescending and cowardly individuals.

REMEMBER PEOPLE ARE ON THE EDGE

REMEMBER PEOPLE ARE ON THE EDGE

MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS

I was just called by S P. I would like to put a complaint in about her and the way I was treated by her. She was rude and extremely patronising suggesting that I'm lying. Let's be clear here. I do not warrant someone talking to me like that. She was out of order and should be reprimanded accordingly.

I am a human being and have struggled greatly with my mental health since having to close my business, your staff should take this into consideration first and foremost. I have nothing left and haven't worked for 4 months. I am struggling to stay afloat both mentally and financially. Your bully tactics are abhorrent and clearly designed to put fear into the equation. Disgusting and underhand.

Unfortunately you have turned your own hand S. I suggest you live up to your threats then and take me to court. I will state in documents your aggressive stance and attitude towards a human being that is struggling ie you care zero about someone that's attempted suicide once already this year, as I stated to you on the phone, and is currently engaging with the NHS to keep me from the depression I am currently in.

Perhaps remember your actions and the way you deal with human beings has a direct impact on how they are feeling.
