I am 62 years old and was struggling with how I should present my resume to combat potential ageism rejecting my applications. TopCV cane up trump and provided me with the answer in how I should market myself for work.

I went for the service to provide both a resume and cover letter at £159. It was money well spent and I am extremely happy with the service that was provided.

You have 7 days to work on your documents once you have been provided with a professional writer. I fund this was enough time to get the finished result that I was extremely happy with. In my case, it took 3 versions to get to the final result, so my advice is to make sure you use the 7 days wisely, do not waste them.

TopCV provides a CV review service for free through Reed.co.uk, when requested, TopCV replies through an “expert” who always prints out similar versions of text telling you your CV is bad.
The entire system is designed to trick schmucks into buying one of their CV-writing packages. And let me tell you… TopCV’s CV writing is autogenerated rubbish. They never seemingly actually pay an expert to help you write your CV, they just get an AI algorithm to alter your CV in some ways or print out a completely new CV.

I tested their CV vs. my CVs that they’d told me were bad. The results? Horrifying. My old CV’s came out as scoring higher than their auto-generated garbage 100% of the time. Even my worst CV was better than their auto-generated one!
So, how did I test the CVs? I put both the auto-generated CV and my personally crafted CVs through a applicant/candidate tracking system with desired jobs in mind, I then sent out all versions to recruiters and was going to track the results; however, both recruiters and the ATS/CTSs came back with the same result, TopCV’s CV was the worst.

DO NOT PAY THEM OR EVEN REQUEST FREE SERVICES, WASTE OF YOUR TIME, MONEY, AND YOU’RE SIGNING YOUR DATA AWAY TO BE SOLD!!!
