I used TopCV to revamp my CV to match more with British employers after moving to Scotland on a spouse visa. My writer was very punctual when making necessary changes and formatted my CV to British standards.

So happy with my new CV and supporting documentation. The person who worked on it did a fantastic job and was very quick in turning it around. Please don't think you can send them your CV and they work miracles with it, you will need to complete a questionnaire (essential for them to accurately update your CV).
I was sceptical at first and thought am I doing the right thing spending the money. I did not need to worry and would advise anyone to use TopCV.
I would like to know who was the person who worked so hard as I would have liked to thank them by name.

The second time using the company. I was worried the first time in spending so much but they pimped my CV and i landed a big wage increase as well as better job. 4 years down the line my CV needed tweaking and they were the company i trusted soi it was a "no brainer". They delivered and now its out there and awaiting a bite and all that goes with it. Thanks guys again and as they say any money spent on your future is money well spent.

Not worth the money, given that they just use ChatGPT which you can do yourself. When paying over £150 for a CV, you'd expect an actual expert to help you, or at least an actual person to be writing it. had to spend hours re-writing it myself.

Terrible experience, first they gave a writer who just used ChatGPT. which was terrible, and bad writing. Just general stuff literally no effort. Next they gave a writer who is using AI, but at least put some effort to the CV. anyway, I think now you just use chatgpt and do it for free rather than this nonsense. Now they also have a hidden charge of $18, and there is no way to cancel it on their website. No support to answer, just literal scam. I used the top premium service around $300 and got such poor written CV, you can do it better with AI now. Never use it. Never ever ever ever use this terrible service!!!!!

Avoid TopCV – Incompetence, Poor English, and Zero Accountability

I strongly advise against using TopCV.

Despite multiple emails and complaints, the quality of service was shockingly poor. The writers demonstrated a lack of understanding of professional CV standards, and their English was so subpar that I had to rewrite most of it myself. It would’ve saved me time and frustration to write my own CV from the beginning.

The process required heavy management on my part — I had to chase responses, clarify basic points, and remind them of previous conversations. Even after lodging a formal complaint, nothing improved. Writers missed promised deadlines, customer care reassigned staff without notice, and I was repeatedly asked to give feedback before earlier issues had even been addressed.

TopCV promises collaboration with expert writers — this is absolutely not what I received. What I experienced was generic, error-filled output and poor comprehension of my industry or career goals.

Save your money. You’ll get better results editing your own CV using free resources online.
