A total WASTE of money! CV enhancing is done in a negligent way, not caring about the specific profession of the client, large parts being copy-pasted from my original CV and no additional questions asked (thus: sh*t in = sh*t out result), with an overall impression of a CV drafted without knowing the purpose it is made for. IMPORTANT: they do not inform the clients about a limited time to respond and correct or rewrite the CV draft. One shot and that’s it! Unfair and unprofessional, to say the least. PLEASE DONT USE THIS WEBSITE, the CV's are written in poor english with poor formatting and make little effort to understand your experience and how to present this to potential employers. It's a complete waste of money!

Diabolical - No idea of my job and purpose of the CV. Steer clear. It sounds as though one or two 'editors' may be good but on the whole I would not touch them with a barge pole. Running the results though AI will get you better results than they give.

The CV writer was very friendly and helpful. Many useful tips. I liked to presentation of my revised CV. It is too soon to tell whether the revised CV will help me to land a suitable job, but it looks good compared to the CV I wrote by myself.

The service was fast and thorough. My CV was rewritten very professionally and I am extremely satisfied with the result. I would fully recommend this company.

TOP CV TOTAL SCAM!

This company is a complete waste of money and time. I paid €200 for a so-called professional CV, and after two months, they still haven’t delivered a final version!

They don’t know how to draft a proper CV, especially for senior-level or managerial positions. The last draft they sent me was basically 85% copy-pasted from my original CV! It’s obvious they just use ChatGPT or some other AI tool to write everything, and they have zero real expertise in building CVs for experienced professionals.

Right now, as I’m writing this review, I’m still fighting with them to get my refund, and they’re refusing to pay me back even though they never delivered what they promised!

They pretend to be experts, but they’re just a scam, and their support team is useless sending me AI-generated emails and images instead of real help.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! They’re stealing money from people and leaving them with nothing but frustration. Avoid at all costs!

I can guarantee they will reply me to contact their supprt - in where i keep cc ing when i send my frustration!

I honestly cannot recommend this due to my experiences. First, for the amount they charge you would expect their website to at least run properly. Every step of the way, I've had hurdles. The survey link didn't work for several days and then one day they just emailed me saying it's working now.

Second, I feel (and I hope I'm wrong) that the resume writers are automating at least some part of the work they do, because they honestly don't provide much feedback. If you tell them you want "XYZ" - literally anything, they just put it in even if it would be harmful to your CV.

I unfortunately encountered this as I unknowingly asked them to put a term in which I didn't know required its own certification. I would've expected a top writer from an "Ultimate CV" package to know this. Alas, they didn't.

The auto-apply feature linked with their other page was broken for me a long time. I had several emails with them trying to fix this. Once fixed, I realized that the system is quite dated; it sometimes shows jobs that were posted a year ago. It also struggles to correctly identify jobs one would be good for in its search algorithm.

The ultimate downside was that I applied to over 2,300 jobs using their documents and all of them failed to land me an interview. The vast majority of them did not even bother replying. Shockingly, a few replies were stating that my CV seemed AI generated, which is why I raised concerns earlier in this review.

I hope I can get some form of compensation for this but honestly this experience wasn't a good one for me.

Good communication & understanding of the requirement

I purchased the TopCV expert writing package with the 60-day interview guarantee, which included a CV, cover letter, and LinkedIn rewrite. Despite actively applying to roles using their materials, I received no interviews – only rejections.

When I reached out to claim the guarantee, their support completely ignored my query and responded with irrelevant info about a 7-day subscription, which I never mentioned nor used. It’s clear they’re avoiding responsibility for the guarantee they marketed.

This experience has been frustrating, misleading, and unprofessional. I expected better from a service that charges a premium and makes strong promises. I urge others to think twice before trusting these guarantees.

I’m still awaiting a proper resolution.

Don't part with your money - its a scam.

Horrendous company. Signed up based on them doing an initial assessment of my CV. Their first draft applied none of that feedback, and included some utter waffle that sounded peak David Brent.
I pointed this out, and asked some questions.

I received a new draft - no answer to any of the questions. Quite a shift in the draft, rewriting parts to use fresh words in my job history but actually moving away from an accurate description of what I actually did.
I wrote back again, noting specifically the feedback I had received from them in their initial preview, which suggested being specific about "wins" in your past roles, how much money you saved them etc.

So I receive a fresh draft... and wow - now it does have sentences like that in there. False ones, outright claiming that I did things that I did not do.
Other sections make reference to tasks being carried out which I also did not do.
This time I did recieve a reply to my questions - they pointed out that within the process you offer some role profiles of jobs you want to apply for... Well this company (or realistically, their AI application) was taking aspects from the prospective role profiles, and rewriting them into my CV as if I had already held those roles and undertaken those responsibilities.

I know someone in recruitment (though not my industry), and I know another in my industry well enough to feel I could ask for their feedback.
It was rather scathing...

I raised a complaint to the company, and got fobbed off by getting a really patronising paragraph about how its a lot of work to find a job, I should apply for loads of them and really put effort in etc.
Then they said there was some sort of grace period of 2 months before I could ask for a rewrite, but it was kind of vague on what to do.
Realistically I didn't want them to do another attempt with this absolutely nonsensical process.

I honestly think this company is 1 guy and an AI programme he's written.

EDIT - Their reply to my 'candid feedback', is to offer me a free "thank you" letter, which they value at £40:

"We sincerely acknowledge that the initial drafts did not meet our professional standards, and we can completely imagine how this has affected your confidence in working with us again.

That said, your satisfaction remains our top priority, and we would truly appreciate the opportunity to turn this experience around. Along with the rewrite, we’d also like to offer you a complimentary post-interview follow-up thank you letter service worth £40 as a token of goodwill."

I'm tempted to tell them that my response email is valued at £65 and thus they now owe me money...

Career Evolution CV Writing Package

I still haven’t received my final CV, and I can’t reach anyone—no replies to emails, no working phone number, no live support. I’ve been waiting for weeks with no resolution.

At this point, I expect either an urgent response or a full refund. Completely unacceptable experience.

My CV was re-written in a better layout and I learnt some useful tips on what to include and what not to include to improve it. A worthwhile service.

Avoid avoid avoid!!! An expensive service for what is clearly chat GBT. Used this company to write my CV applied for a number of jobs and not one was picked up by any recruiters so the formatting is awful and doesn’t align with the ATS software. When I asked them for refund as it was terrible format and no key words used to hit the algorithms they refused which is appalling customer service. I would not use this company again if you want to actually get through to a human!! Please avoid and don’t use these scammers save your money and use a proper CV writing company
