Bought the Topiom rowing machine from the company's British website topiom.co.uk. Everything was delivered within several days, overall very quick and even faster than I expected. Despite the weathered packaging, the item was brand new and easy to assemble. The assembly instructions could've been better, but it's still very obvious what goes where.
Ended up having issues with the footpads, they are indeed placed very close to each other, so if you have thick legs it might be a problem. Still, the customer support did everything to keep me satisfied, which was way beyond what I originally expected. I had my doubts about the brand at first, but I've been actually proven wrong. Good job Topiom!

TOPIOM WATER ROWING MACHINE

I was looking to buy an 'original' oak WaterRower, however due to the pandemic there was a delay of 1-2 months. I didn’t want to wait that long, so I did a Google search and came across this product. It had good reviews and looked a bargain in comparison, but I wanted to clarify a few things first, so I contacted Topiom support to get information about the wood composition and monitor.

Unfortunately for me, their emails somehow went into my spam folder. As I thought they hadn't replied, I automatically crossed them off my short list. Fortunately, they followed up with a phone call when I had not replied to their emails. The representative that called was very pleasant to speak to and helpful. It gave me confidence in the companies product and support service. So, I dived right in, (excuse the water pun) and have become addicted to it ever since.

The water rower arrived within a few days of purchase on Amazon. Two boxes were delivered a day apart. Everything was well packaged and very easy to assemble using their YouTube video. Just search for their company name and you'll find it.

The Topiom water rower has a light wood colour to the finish, similar to the colour of ash wood. According to Topiom support the rower is a solid wood composite, NOT a plywood veneer. That would have definitely put me off, as it would have delaminated and pealed over time.

The overall quality is very good in my opinion. It looks like it will outlast me. I agree with other reviews that the rowing action is smooth and relaxing. I have used a Conept 2 rower in the past which was good also, however the fan noise is loud and mechanical sounding compared to the water rower which is a lot quieter and sounds like you”re rowing on water, adding to the realism of the rowing on water simulated workout.

I was hooked after my first few rows. The monitor does the basics, with the addition of Bluetooth. This means that you can use some of the available video rowing apps out there. Bluetooth is an extra cost on the 'original' WaterRower brand. Making this rower even more value for money.

If money is an issue, then this water rowing machine is significantly cheaper...with most of the bells and whistle, including Bluetooth. Having said that, it's worth mentioning that the monitor is apparently not as good as on the 'original' WaterRower, competitor, function wise. If you are a club rower, then you may like to compare monitor features to make sure that it suits your particular training needs.

For home or gym use, the basic rowing functions, distance, calories burned etc does the job, with the added benefit of being able to use Bluetooth rowing apps as already mentioned. The water rower also takes up little space when stored upright, and looks great. If your a club rower and in the market for a water rowing machine where money is no object, or if you are into brands then you may want something from the more expensive, 'original' WaterRower range.

However, If you want to save significant money and have a gym quality, functional, good looking wood water rowing machine that surpasses most people’s expectations and needs. Then this should be high on your short list...if you’re not clicking that buy button already :-)

When you get your Topiom water rower home, you will have a fun, enjoyable, easy to use and store, low impact exercise friend, that can also deliver a varied and challenging workout when you need it. Whether your a beginner or a pro. Your body and mind will benefit from its use whatever age you are. I’m in my fifty’s and will be using mine to stay strong and healthy for as long as I can.

I shopped hard for a good rower at a good price. Topiom exceeded my expectations. I saw many rowers for two to three times the cost of Topiom. I fail to see any difference in the Topiom compared to the much more expensive ones.
I needed something that would be easy on my joints and still kick my butt. This works really well. In less than a week my body is responding to the stress from this workout. It feels really good.
I am really glad I chose a water rower. The harder you push the water the more it resists. So this machine can really grow with you.

Make sure to plug in the pump before you start, it takes an hour to charge.

Folks, this was an excellent rowing experience the very first time. The pull during the stroke was even throughout. The instruction book and video make the setup process straight forward. I found that it did take longer than 30 minutes but that was due to my own physical limitations. It is a good looking piece of heavy duty equipment.

2 weeks after purchasing my rower and only one part of the package has arrived. After reading reviews of others it sounds like this is a common problem. I only brought this rower as they said it was a 3-7 day delivery. Marketing ploy. Customer services are quick to respond but they advised me to be patient. I hope I don’t have as much trouble getting my money back as others 😟
28/01-Update, I contacted customer services again and they arranged for another item to be shipped which arrived today. They also gave me a free mat. I haven’t set it up yet but am feeling much happier with the service

I have recently bought an indoor water rower from Topiom. I was in two minds and took me a while to make a decision about buying it from Topiom as I never heard of the brand. But after reading reviews and comparing it to other brands I went for it and very happy with the choice I made. I wanted an indoor rower due to having problems with my foot and knees with running and I was tempted to buy a Concept 2 rower but I only want the rower for recreational use and not for competing level.

I received my rower earlier than what it was said to be arriving. I got a little bit worried as the 2nd parcel did not arrive until a day or two after the first part of the rower. I have contacted customer support and the response was immediate and quick.

The rower build was flawless and good quality. Easy assemble by one, took me about 20mins or so. All parts functioning properly and smoothly. For the money that you pay for it was very good, good clean finish and good quality materials.

The only downside was when I was to test my rower I did not notice that the sensor holder was broken. This was probably broken due to delivery or so. But I contacted customer support and again it was A ++ service and very quick and responsive. I received my replacement part and tested the rower properly and overall I am very happy with it.

Storage is amazing as it only takes a small corner against the wall in my flat and very easy to move. Customer service also set up my warranty manually.

I give Topiom indoor rower 5 star as price is reasonable compared to other brands, build and quality would be 5 star (but if they can change the plastic holder to metal holder would be better), storage and maneuverability is 5 star, and customer service is 5 star. I would definitely recommend it for recreational rowers, it meets the need and keeps me sane working as a healthcare professional during this never ending lockdowns at the moment.

Really pleased with the rowing machine and fantastic customer support from Topiom to resolve a minor issue and provide a replacement.

I'm very new to rowing and wasn't sure which one to get but once this arrived, I was converted into a daily rower. I chose the walnut colour and it looks great, it's easy to build and took around 30 minutes to put together. Once built the rower has a solid feel and can be stored upright.

It came with a water pump which made it very simple to add and remove water.

Fantastic quality, easy to assemble and excellent value. As an engineer I was keen to see what the quality of the unit was like. Although several hundred pounds cheaper than competitors equipment, materials and build quality are first class. Quality bearings on all rollers, brass guides on seat, timber finished to a high standard, I have no complaints at all. Nice to hear the swish of water as you power through your strokes and that is all you hear. Easily manoeuverable for stable, upright, space saving storage. Result!

I signed up for the free trial and received the Rower within a few days - two boxes as described, one via UPS one via DPD both arrived within an hour of each ither on same day - brilliant ! Machine was built within 30mins, excellent instructions, I cheated and filled reservoir using garden hose. Machine is great to use with good resistance, comfy seat and please noise of water. Ive found the monitor accurate - its not as bright as I would like but its readable and this is a minor niggle. Alice and Annie from customer services kept me up to date at all times and have been very helpful and fast to respond. I have now paid for the machine and having used Topiom I would not hesitate to recommend them. Great value Rower, cheaper and as good as any on the market.

Rower was delivered quickly and easy to assemble. I chose the 2 week trial before payment. I had a problem with the sensor not reading correctly, customer service was quick to respond and sent me out a replacement monitor. Its a smooth action nice and quiet. Overall I am happy with the rower and would recommend.

Excellent experience. Topiom are a excellent company providing great service. I'm very happy with the purchase of my water rower which I use everyday. Superior quality and luxurious machine at the fraction of the price comparing to other companies.. I have great results and compliments thanks to Topiom. The rower was a bargain price much cheaper than other companies but superior quality.
and kept me informed about the delivery of my water rowing machine which is very good quality and a luxurious rower which is a pleasure to use. The sound of the water is so relaxing. I'm very happy and I have cancelled my gym memberships as I dont need them now I have my own water rower.

With many emails back and fourth from the Customer services, I took the plunge. I was told it would be 2 months for delivery. I paid for the rower in May, July came should be seeing the rower. I got 2 planks of wood, used with fragments missing around where the rower bolts together, greasy hand prints and dis-coloured everywhere. 10 days later and still no 2nd parcel. Looking on the DPD website, it says still not given by the company. Stay away from this company, I am getting my credit card company to get my money back. They give you the false sense of security that you will get a copy of the WaterRower but for less, I got 2 planks of wood and 2 months without my money.

A decent looking rower, much like ‘Waterrower’ but the sensor is not accurate with regards to distance and it does not show total number of strokes. Not good if you are trying to beat the last time you used it.
I tried to contact Topiom customer service who weren’t at all helpful and eventually told me they don’t sell spares.
