Goods quality range of tiles & reasonable prices

Worst experience with a retailer ever.

Booked delivery for a specific day for the order not to turn up even after being assured on day of delivery it was coming, then after rebooking the delivery and being assured that it was coming on that day for it not to turn up again. Problem being I have had to travel 120 miles all in to accept 2 not even attempted deliveries, the incompetence experienced here is monumental and has left me fearful for the continuation of the human race.

This is not a review for tops tiles but one of there products they sell please take this warning very seriously do not buy matrix grout it is the worst grout I’ve ever used spent £800 on tiles then used this grout it comes out all patchy
The company (laticrete) have been contacted but have washed there hands of it saying that I have mixed it up wrongly which is a load of tosh I am not a diy er
And have never had a problem with any other grout I have used in the last 30 years
So do yourself a favour and stay well clear of this stuff
This in no way reflects the service I have had from tops

Ordered a small amount of tiles. Went to pick them up. Staff member really couldn’t be bothered. Handed me the tiles loose. I asked if there was anything he could provide to package them, as they are of course breakable. No, he said. I would have had to buy a box of tiles to warrant any packaging. He walked off. On inspection I found one of them was chipped. Had to wait to highlight this. He didn’t seem at all concerned. Simply said, I’ll have to order one in . Didn’t confirm when they would arrive and more importantly did NOT apologise for either the damage or the inconvenience. When I said I wasn’t happy, he asked why? I’m pretty much flabbergasted that he had to ask. I suggested the order hadn’t been checked. He confirmed it had. Well I said, if that was the case you would have found the broken tile wouldn’t you? He didn’t have an answer. Shoddy goods, even shoddier customer service. Actually, really awful customer service from a member of staff who just didn’t care.

Great performance is where a company turns a problem into an opportunity to shine. Topstiles Shipley branch sold me a poor epoxy grout (not to their knowledge), came to the house to inspect the problem and reported back to the best of their ability, and refunded the purchase. No hassle, great service and courtesy. Many thanks Toptiles team.

We recently bought tiles from the Saltash branch near Plymouth. May I just say how highly I recommend topstiles products and even more impressed by the team in Saltash store, always cheerful, very knowledgeable and pleasant. It has been an absolute pleasure dealing with these guys.

Now on day three of receiving a text message to say my tiles are going to be delivered and nothing!! I wait in 10-17:00 each day so I don’t miss the delivery. This is beyond a joke never felt with such a company!! About ten phone calls later and still no tiles which I have ordered and paid for!!

Business class service! Rob and Lewis of Top tiles Penge so helpful guys.So impressed of them. They are people’s people. So helpful, friendly, respectful and all of the good qualities. We spent around £1500 on our bathroom and kitchen tikes and never thought buying tikes can be an experience but they made it happen.

I have visited the Warrington branch twice recently and have found the staff to be so knowledgeable and helpful. It is not by chance that I bought all of my tiles for two bathrooms from here.

very helpful staff in the greenock branch - was great to be able to take samples home.

Can't fault the staff at the Worthing Branch, thought they were amazing. Completely professional, put us at ease with their friendliness and had plenty of advice that wasn't pushy or selling. More expensive than a lot of online retailers but range is very contemporary and we found ourselves with some exquisite Victorian reproduction tiles that were made to order. These were ordered in store before Christmas but we only picked last w/e. Before we had a chance to speak, we were greeted by 'Hello Mr.Ward, so you've come to pick up your tiles!" Lovely people, thoroughly recommend!

Excellent customer service both buying ,getting delivery quickly and returning excess boxes of tiles for a refund.
Mike in the Chester store was so helpful and pleasant throughout the whole process. After the nightmare of Curry’s dealing with this company was a pleasant hassle free experience

Jack (CHELTENHAM) advised me on all the tiles that I could have in my kitchen and we looked at various designs. Jack was knowledgeable & extremely helpful with sizing up the tiles for me and pricing per box. I fell in love with a set of tiles called Parkway. Later on my husband and I drove down and picked up the three boxes they had, we however needed more . Our Tiler was due at 7:30 the next morning and time was of the Essence we were short on the tiles and did not know what to do . Our sales advisor Kurt spoke to his manager Steve and they rang the Evesham branch, the branch had the rest of the tiles we needed but they were in Evesham Which closed at 6 p.m. we were never going to make it. Steve spoke to the Branch Manager in Evesham, well Kurt assisted with the sale of the correct grout ECT. Steve then informed us the branch manager of Evesham would bring the tiles over Steve was going to stay in the shop after closing time to wait for the tiles and then call us so we could pick them up. This was exceptional service from Jack , Kurt & Steve between them they managed to get our tiles to us in time for our tile fitter. My husband and I can't thank them enough, they were all fantastic and all of the team pulled together. We would highly recommend these guys at Cheltenham
