I have a buisness acccont that i have…

I have a buisness acccont that i have requsted a refund for overcharge 3 months ago and im still waiting. The amount is for over 14k. Now on our 2nd gas line the are threatening to cut our supply because i am refusing to pay thr 800 that is outstanding and they are charging for late payment. If you have a buisness avoid total energies they will not treat you fairly!!!!!

I moved in new premises

I moved in new premises, they disconnected my electricity when I told them I was a new tenant. They removed my gas meter without speaking to anyone on site. And now they're refusing to re install gas meter but are reconnecting my electricity after I paid a deposit and the reconnect fee. And even then they've botched up the re connection and still waiting to be re connectied. Awful company with overseas call centre bad phone lines very poor communication in between the company. Stay way from TotalEnergies they don't care about old or potential new customers.

Poor experience and fuel

We used the TotalEnergies gas station off the motorway just outside Mons in Belgium. We found the system of paying unnecessarily complex and frustrating. Using our bank card at the station raised a red flag at our Irish bank , who paused our cards until they had spoken to us. This had to do with the inexplicable pre-payment system .
Worse was to come when our camper began the struggle going uphill on the Motorway. We had to leave the Péage as a result and travel on smaller roads for safety reasons. The issue completely resolved when we filled up with fresh diesel so we assumed the problem was the diesel at the TotalEnergies station

Took a pre authorisation of 72 Euros…

Took a pre authorisation of 72 Euros and the charger failed to initialise. Spent another 72 euros as my car only had 11 miles and we were stuck in the middle of no where. This charge cost 19euros but four days later I’m still waiting for a refund

Disgraceful company. They should be called TotalSharks not TotalEnergies. Even 1 star is too much. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL.

Awful Company

Awful Company. Customer service rude, ignorant, dismissive and deceitful.
The way they deal with disputes is nothing short of a scam.
I on a personal level, and my businesses will never use this supplier again. Outrageous they are allowed to operate like this.

TOTAL CON ARTISTS

Worst company ever. I had an outstanding amount that I paid off in full and verified by their customer support. Low and behold I received a bill for £870 which was apparently for call out charges… I looked at the dates and cctv and no one had been at the premises… no phone call from them to get me to the premises and no letter saying they had been there… bear in mind that the account was sitting at £zero… so after a few hellish phone calls I got a phone call and email stating that they agreed that there was no call out therefore no call out charge… but my account was at £170.., I had turned off the boiler and hadn’t used any gas… when I questioned this for months they finally agreed that In fact there was no call out and nowt was due…. Fast forward a few months and I am getting chased by Oriel Debt Collection Agency for the full £870 this includes the call-outs that never happened…. One of the call-outs that never happened was on the 24th of December…, I checked the cctv and guess what… no Santa and no Rudolph… over the past year I have been caring for my gravely ill mum… they knew this and still try to thieve and extort non owed money thinking that people will just give in and come to a monthly agreement to square off the theft….utterly disgusting company… I absolutely hate them from the core up… Total waste of my energy

After waiting for 15' for the service desk to come back, they just hung up!!I have been trying for more than 2…

I have been trying for more than 2 years to have a true conversation with the customer service of Totalenergies France because of a refund that was never paid back, after ending my contract with them. I took several times the initiative to contact them by email (never got a reply), phone (never got a qualified person on the line) or other. They just refuse to refund me when they have been increasing the monthly invoice by more than 300%; compared to the monthly fee we arranged for when opening the contract with them. This is unacceptable, even more so because once again, their customer service employee asks me to wait (15 minutes)on the phone and then simply disconnects the call I made... unacceptable. Never open a contract with Totalenergies.fr. My advice.

Worst company ever had the misfortune to deal with!

TE don't even deserve 1 star. Absolute nightmare to deal with. Meter readings never updated despite sending numerous times. Received FOURTEEN different invoices in June 2025 for a property sold in NOVEMBER 2024.
Emails never replied to but happy to send out legal letters for sums that weren't even due. avoid at all costs. Wasted so much time and effort dealing with TE, never again

TOTAL INEPTITUDE more…

TotalEnergies TOTAL INEPTITUDE more like! I manage numerous utility accounts for my job and find it impossible to resolve any problem due to staff in various departments having no understanding of the business. To many foreigners having no command of the English language and no idea how to give good customer service except how to take your money. DO NOT CONSIDER TE TO PROVIDE YOUR GAS/ELECTRIC UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.!!!!!

Useless customer service

Useless customer service, I brought business and provided all the necessary documents, it’s been 2 weeks and still they haven’t set up my account, until they not set up my account I have to stay on higher standard rate, which is costing me £500 a week extra, customer service team saying it will take up to 30 days to set up new account means I will be £2k out of pocket! Avoid this company at any cost.

Don’t use totalenergies

I had, sorry have small business energy account with these, simply because I can’t get rid of these people . Been having to pay rent and bills for business premises , I have not used for over a year due to ill health. Finally gave premises up in May. I rang totalenergies with meter reading and was asked, who was moving in. I didn’t know as it’s actually none of my business, she told me I can’t close account as they need proof. She asked for landlord details, but landlord changed hands, I have no idea who they are other than I have bank details to pay rent, so gave the company name off bank account, still not good enough, they wanted me to find landlord and get a letter from him saying I gave up premises. HOW. I have no idea who they are . A friend saw someone go into business premises and asked if she could get name and phone number as they are taking over the lease, I just tried to give that to customer service and now she wants email for them. They wanted me to jump through hoops to get the information of new tenants, or I can’t close account.

Unhelpful customer service

The customer service I have received from Total Energies has been terrible. The communications I have received over email were unhelfpl. I then called to resolve the issue and the sales assistant Ashley FRIESLAAR was unhelpful with my query and at one point stopped communicating and went silent and wouldn't reestablish communication.

Additionally the sales assistant's level of English was not good (she had a strong Indian accent) and so I had to continually ask her to reexplain herself.

Bad customer service all round. Will recommend others to not use your services.

ABSOLUTELY USELESS COMPANY

THE WORSE COMPANY I HAVE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH! MY ELECTRIC CAR CHARGING CABLE IS STUCK IN ONE OF THEIR CHARGING POINTS AND HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO GET THROUGH TO THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE AFTER MORE THAN 5 HOURS AND STILL CANT GET THROUGH TO THEM. CHARGING SESSIONS DIDN'T EVEN BEGIN BUT THE MAX HOLDING FEE OF £49 STILL HELD AND NOT RETURNED. SO NO CHARGE, NO CABLE RELEASED AND DOWN FUNDS! UTTERLY USELESS AND WILL BE AVOIDING IN THE FUTURE ONCE I'VE RESOLVED THIS ISSUE. DOESN'T EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR.

3 Years of Trauma, Lies, and Bullying – Now Taking Legal Action


TotalEnergies Gas & Power has caused me over three years of emotional distress, business disruption, and legal breach.

They:

Ignored my Subject Access Request (in breach of GDPR – now reported to the ICO)
Falsely claimed I had a payment arrangement with them (I didn’t)
Sent people into my business monthly, despite me explicitly telling them not to — and charged me £75 each time
Tied me into a contract during a breakdown, after I explained I was grieving, caring for my father after a stroke, and could barely function
Promised support, then demanded £10,000 days later
Sent bills that ranged from £10,000 arrears to £4,000 credit, with no explanation
Ignored the Energy Ombudsman’s ruling, which required them to apologise, pay £250, and rebill my gas account correctly
Provided blank PDFs, hung up when I asked for clarity, and now reject most email addresses I’ve used
This company has targeted a vulnerable customer, ignored UK regulations, and actively blocked every avenue for resolution.

The Ombudsman is still chasing them. The ICO is investigating. And I’m now preparing to take legal action.

If you are a small business, vulnerable, or in crisis — stay away.
They’ll smile until you sign — then ruin your life.

I HATE THIS COMPANY

TERRIBLE COMPANY! USELESS CUSTOMER SERVICE! HALF THE CAR CHARGERS DONT WORK, AND YOU WILL ONLY REALISE AFTER YOU HAVE BEEN CHARGED THE MAXIMUM HOLDING FEE. NO REFUNDS FOR 2 WEEKS. TO CHARGE THE CAR YOU WILL NEED TO PAY THE £49 AGAIN! I HATE THIS COMPANY. THEY DONT EVEN DESERVE THE ONE STAR.
