Manchester Cup Easter 2026

Travelled from Ireland for what was advertised as a amazing weekend of football. Food village & high class entertainment promised in a glossy brochure. What we got was 3 games of football all weekend. The village was 2 food vans & an ice cream van. Totally overpriced- £3 for can pepsi!! Main point contact no where to be seen. For the amount money paid to Tour International all I can say it is total scam and looks like fraud. All posts on FB and Instagram regarding the 2026 Manchester Cup removed I assume due to the amount negative comments. I have sent an email to both Group Tours and Tour International requesting a refund. Not hopeful of a response. All I can say is avoid at all costs! If I could have give 0 stars for this I would.

Totally agree with all the comments…

Totally agree with all the comments below! Terry and Tour international are a complete Con and scam artists, they should be ashamed of disappointing so many young children. We travelled from Ireland at considerable cost expecting a well organised event, instead we had 3 games of football, literally 1 hour of playing time. Terry left the event to be run by Children that didn't have a clue what was going on, and when questioned got a responses of "Not our problem"
Grass pitches not cut or maintained, different size goals at each end grass not cut. Shocking....

Football Tournament Scam

I also attended the Manchester Cup, we travelled from Ireland to take part

I can only describe it as a scam, fancy app and PDF with promises of professionally maintained pitches, high level referees and an unforgettable experience.

Terry gave us the latter but for all the wrong reasons!!

We arrived to a public park which was far from maintained and basically left to look after ourselves with no guidance from anyone.

Terry and Tour International made absolutely no effort to make sure teams had the experience advertised who had travelled from as far as Asia and America.

It's hard to even put it into words how bad it was

How Terry sleeps at night I don't know after letting so many people down.

Shame on you Terry and anyone associated with this Tournament

Manchester Cup 2026

From the moment we arrived at the venue, it was obvious that this tournament was poorly organised. The facilities were completely below standard- long grass, holes in the middle of the pitches full of water, and rusted goalposts with only the nets appearing new.( I could continue)
There was absolutely no communication about match schedules. No clarity on game duration, no proper coordination, and referees who looked inexperienced and unprepared.
The app was useless, it was never updated and provided no reliable information.
As for Terry, his management of the tournament was unacceptable. Teams had travelled from as far as China to participate, yet everyone was left completely in the dark. Not a single team we spoke to had anything positive to say. Getting a straight answer from him was nearly impossible, that is when you could find him at all.
This organisation is a complete fraud. I strongly advise anyone considering it to stay away from Tour International at all costs.
Easily the worst experience I have ever had at a football tournament.

Horrendous experience

Horrendous experience

Please avoid this company tour international at all costs. It was a complete shambles from start to finish, There was no communication or lack of it ( if they could be bothered to answer you)

The Manchester cup itself, well where do I start.

Pitches no where near professional as stated on brochure , they were no mowed, full of holes, unplayable and goal posts that were falling down and rusty, with fancy new nets to disguise the state of them. ( big park clearly council owned)

As for the organisation of the event, given an app to follow, never updated and change of times , pitches etc after games have already started. No- one to sort the issue out or an explanation . Waited over 3.5 hours for a 20 min game . An absolute shambles

Referee’s in tracksuits and didn’t look interested at all.

They had over 2000 kids scheduled to be at the tournament both days , with one burger van and ice cream van

I have sent an email today asking for a refund and everyone that attended the tournament should do also.

1 star is even too much for Terry Tour…

1 star is even too much for Terry Tour Group. Avoid at all cost. A complete shambles from start to finish. Grass uncut, goal posts rusted and bent, holes and ponds in the pitches! A complete farce organised by a con artist if you ask me. Not one other football team we spoke too over the weekend was happy and all completely disappointed with the event and organisation. A shit show. 6.5 hours on first day for one 18 minute game and a 2nd game for 30 mins….. disgraceful organisation and would never in a million years book again with these. Completely over priced for a shit show. Everyone should be refunded for that crap that was presented as a suppose football tournament. Extremely disappointing and a disgraceful set up.

Avoid at all cost - Terry is a con artist

The only good thing about the whole trip organised by Terry was Nolan’s Coaches - comfortable air conditioned bus with friendly driver Niall.
Holiday Inn Express Manchester Arena - time delay with arrival & check in by 3.5 hrs, grubby rooms, uncomfortable broken beds-check in was a nightmare. Staff unfriendly & miserable looking. Breakfast awful. No customer service skills & understaffed for the amount of people they were expecting. Rooms need a whole revamp. Windows don’t open- so no fresh air getting in - rooms stink.
As for the Manchester Cup tournament-
pitches far from professional as stated on brochure- pitches owned by Council - not mowed properly for playing soccer games, huge holes on the pitches , goal posts rusted .
Facilities- 1 over priced burger van, 1 ice cream van & a stage with a lone singer. Had to walk a good 15 minutes to find a shop /coffee shop .
2 day tournament with 2 games per day with about 4 hours btwn each game.
Didn’t look like there was anyone organising the event Terry was nowhere to be seen . Refs biased to local teams.
Over aged players allowed on local team. Definitely 15/16 yr olds playing against our 2013 boys.
Terry is running a scam here please don’t fall for this
All above said - the company of the families we were with made this trip !!!
The boys have made memories & life long friend ships.

Absolutely shocking is how i would rate this tournament, the pitches were in a state not worthy of playing on. Potholes that would sink a car , goal posts broken and referees in a tracksuit.
Hours spent between games with no communication and only 2 games played on both days .
Horrendous experience.

do not book tour international

We just spent a weekend in Manchester for the football event. I’m completely confident in writing that every attendee from all over the world was completely underwhelmed by this organisation. We were over charged and under compensated. No organisation skills whatsoever. If they can’t organise a kick about in a public park with attached sport complex in the UK tell me how they could ever go international and make it a success. Busses were non existent to and from the pitch unless you could find “the guy” to chase up, pitches had grass halfway up the boys legs (been raining the week before apparently) - bear in mind it’s the UK lol. Big holes in pitches with puddles in them - the reply to that was shrugged shoulders, until a little boy had a serious injury due to the pitch conditions and only then a few of the sectioned off pitches were closed or deemed unplayable. Fixtures were not as described, last minute time changes, hours of waiting around, no team name taking, no official list of who’s in and where they are, no entertainment for the teams. A burger van a chip van and an ice cream van at the “internationally renowned tournament”. No amusements, fun stuff or anything. No bins either??? 2 public bins spilling all over the car park resulted in the pitches being absolutley strewn with bags of rubbish. Event “officials??” said, they didn’t think there would be so much rubbish??? What… you are bringing people from all over the world expecting them there all day with no food, drink etc?

Don’t forget the “presentation” at the end of the event, it’s not inclusive it’s - “here’s your medal, please leave”

It is embarrassing, scandalous & a complete waste of time and money. Save your teams and find something more reputable.

My advice , Do not attend

We attended the Manchester Cup this weekend .From start to finish, this tournament was nothing short of a disgrace. The conditions were completely unacceptable — pitches were dangerous and virtually unplayable, with large holes that resembled ponds. Goals were rusted and bent, with what looked like new nets hastily thrown on as a poor attempt to disguise their condition.

The organisation was equally appalling. Teams were scheduled to play four games but only ended up playing two, and even those were not run to schedule. We were left waiting around for hours between matches with no communication or explanation.

There was absolutely no one available to report issues to or take any responsibility on the day. It felt like there was a total lack of leadership or oversight throughout the entire event.

Refereeing standards were also deeply concerning, with officials appearing to be similar in age to the children they were meant to be supervising — completely inappropriate for a tournament setting.

To make matters worse, young kids were driving around on petrol scramblers during matches, creating a serious safety risk and adding to the overall chaos.

It is genuinely shocking that this company is charging people for what can only be described as a complete shambles. I would strongly advise anyone — especially those considering travelling from abroad — to avoid this tournament at all costs

Great organisation to work for

I have worked with Terry for many years over many festivals throughout different countries. This last festival at the Isle of Wight was the 2nd one at this location that I have worked with him. I find Terry to be honest loyal and a great person to work for. The people at the festival were very complimentary of how it was run and Terry was always visible at the tournament and accommodation locations. The payment he sent through was very prompt and I look forward to working with him again going forward.

Worked with Terry and his team for the last 2years on the rugby tournament.
It’s a well run tournament, the accommodations are great and the transportation was spot on.
Can’t wait for next years. Well done Terry and the team for another great tournament.

We as a business always try to give reviews when we can. this one is a little late. On May bank holiday 2025 we supplied event logistics & services to Tour International for their Isle of Wight Event . As an event supplier this was our first year of what we hope is many working for Terry and his team. From very early morning calls to very very late night calls Terry was always on the end of the phone great communication from start to finish. Terry and his team were very prompt at responding to quotes and request for payment on invoices.

Anyone looking for any event work on the Isle of Wight this would be a great place to start, good hourly rate, prompt payment, with 2025 staff wanting to return, I we think that sums it up really.

Avoid at All Costs – A Cautionary Tale About Terry at Tour International....

Working with Terry at Tour International has been one of the worst professional experiences I’ve ever had. A year down the line, staff and service providers are still waiting to be paid—a disgraceful situation that speaks volumes about how this company is run.

The management is a mess. Terry is consistently rude, condescending, and completely unreliable. He regularly fails to show up to meetings and events, and when he does bother to appear, he’s usually late with a string of poor excuses. Most of the time, he simply doesn’t turn up at all.

The Dorset 2024 event was a perfect example: we showed up, other providers showed up, the players showed up—but Terry and his team were nowhere to be seen. No notice, no communication, no explanation. Just silence and chaos left in his wake.

There’s no accountability, no professionalism, and no respect for the people who work hard to support his business. Terry needs to get a grip and take responsibility—not just for the financial mismanagement, but for the way he treats people.

If you’re considering doing business with Tour International, or worse, working for them—don’t. Run the other way.

Poorly Organised Business

To be clear, this is not a US based company - It’s a UK based business.

We booked through Tour-International.com to take our large party to the Isle of Wight for a Rugby festival over the 2-5 May 2025.

Whilst we did all have a good time, and our boys played lots of rugby, our experiences with Tour-International were somewhat disappointing. Whilst the logistics and admin team were polite and generally helpful when they did respond, response times were slow (possibly understaffed?), there were several instances when we were totally left in the dark on critical pieces of information and sometimes our emails were just left unanswered. Overall, the organisation and administration was a bit hit and miss, many aspects felt very last minute and certain things that were promised, never materialised. The most concerning element was an aggressive and threatening email from the owner, Terrance O’Neill, when we queried the communications around the additional costs relating to card fees. Personally, I wouldn’t ever use this current company, or any others initiated by Terry, ever again.

I wouldn’t like this review to reflect badly on all parties who were associated with the festival however. Therefore, I need to complement our hotel, all of the security, independent food and drink providers, and especially the paramedics/medical team as they were excellent. I should also add that our boys (players) enjoyed the rugby element greatly, and that the poor organisation and communication from Tour-International did not negatively affect their experience of the weekend.
