Never buy electric vehicle from Toyota

My new Toyota BZ4x is arrived and delivered to me in September 2024.
My home charger was fixed in August 2024.
Since then I am facing multiple issues with my home charger and I am keeping on escalating till now and Toyota doesn't bother about it as the car is already sold.
Toyota have contract with British gas for fixing charges and British gas having contract with Hive for charges.
Now the issue is no one is ready to take responsibility to sort out my issue and just passing to each other as usual.
There are multiple occasions I plugged my car for charging and in the morning it was not charged at all.
Since the charger is fixed it was not connected to network.
On September 17 my appointment was scheduled with British gas to visit to sort out the issue and as usual they never turned up or called about appointment.
Finally in mid November British gas engineer visit and checked the charger and told there is something wrong and he will escalate to the next team to sort out.
According to him was not recommended to charge car as something is wrong and at the same time he rang Toyota who told there no issues and you can charge your car.
Toyota person also told me that they will be in touch with me in 3 working days which they never till now.
The biggest issue is you never know if your car will be charging after connecting to charge.
You will be getting unexpected surprise in the morning when you will know that the car not charged at all.
Pathetic service by Toyota and I don't blame people leaving Toyota.
The sales team will give you all promises and then after handing over the car we are facing poorest after sales service.

I will never step foot in a Toyota car…

I will never step foot in a Toyota car show room ever again.
The sales man looked like he couldn’t care less about talking with us, when we gave the price we can afford he took a deep breath and looked disappointed. He used we buy any car to show us the lowest price for my car. It was so unprofessional. But I did find out his wife drives a £90k bmw. Our money is as good as the next mans but never have I been made to feel like a poor person or pooh on his shoe

MOT test certificate error

Be sure to check all paper work when collecting your car from Toyota.
Having specifically requested any issues to be rectified during a service before the MOT test, requested online when booking and when delivering the car, subsequently following agreement a new tyre was fitted. However this same NEW tyre is shown as being close to the legal limit on the MOT certificate.
To avoid such confusion, consider alternative service providers.

Joke of a garage

I've had problems 100% of the time dealing with Toyota Bristol North over the last 3 years. They have never given me the car back with the correct tyre pressure. They fitted a fuel filter incorrectly so the check engine light came on and the car kept cutting out. Refused to replace the rear view that fell off (known issue with my make and model). Put a budget tyre on the car when I wanted a premium one. I was stuck in a contract with them and now after the last time of having to deal with them where they've damaged my car and put a huge deep scratch on my bumper I am done! NEVER again. The place is a bad joke.

Toyota UK has hit rock bottom!

Toyota UK, Please at least have the will to redeem yourself ....I am a loyal Toyota customer and have bought vehicles from Toyota around the world where I have lived, Unfortunately, the service from Toyota UK has been the worst,Scott Thompson Toyota CEO take a bow, you have managed to introduce apathy, incompetence and a subpar customer experience to a otherwise good company ...I exemplify, I have a brand new Landcruiser First edition 2024 standing at my dealer (Vantage Preston) and I am unable to collect the car as someone in Toyota UK forgot to add the details on Thatcham insurance database, which means the car cannot be insured, this is not a mere oversight but a reflection of how Toyota UK treats its clients, with utmost apathy and lack of any consideration! if you are willing to redeem yourself, please do so! I'm not holding my breath and probably my last purchase from Toyota UK

Brilliant service from Grant in Medway

I bought a car from an online company to find there were issues. Although I struggled with Toyota's sales team this review is in regards to Grant who is in the servicing team at Gillingham Medway. He sorted out all the issues and even took time to show me how to use all the features in the car even though it was pretty much the end of his shift. He was brilliant.

RRG Toyota Stockport

RRG Toyota Stockport

I went to Toyota Stockport to buy a used Toyota Auris Hybrid car, which had cosmetic damages. The salesman assured me that these would be repaired before handing the car over. He also mentioned that extras, including cameras, would be installed at an additional cost, but later he refused to honor this, even though he had verbally agreed to it.

I paid a deposit, and he told me the car would be ready in a week. After one week, he called to inform me that the car was not ready because he had forgotten to take my signature on a few more documents. He assured me that the car would be ready the following week. After 14 days, he called me to collect the car, but upon reaching the dealership, the car was in the same condition as before; it still had all the cosmetic damages (dents and scratches) that the salesman had promised to fix. This was the primary reason I decided to purchase the car.

When I asked him about the cameras, he refused to acknowledge our previous conversation and was rude about it. We did not collect the car that day because it was dirty inside. I pointed out the damages, and he again promised that these would be fixed, but they remained the same. I was told to come back next week, totaling 20 days after the deposit was paid.

I received a survey email from Toyota about my experience with Toyota Stockport. I filled it out based on my unsatisfactory experience. On the same day, I received a call from Toyota Stockport informing me that my deal had been canceled due to the survey I completed. I was told that I would no longer be able to get that car or any car from that dealership, which felt completely unjust.

I would advise everyone to avoid this dealership; they are extremely unprofessional

Beware!

Today we went to Steven Eagell, Northampton, to purchase a second hand Yaris. Beforehand, we had been to We Buy Any Car to get our Auris valued at £7,200. We had an appointment at Steven Eagell at 11,30am. At 11.32am, just as we were driving into the yard, we received a phone call asking where we were. I explained that we were just parking. We went into the showroom and were then kept waiting for the salesman. He showed us the car we were interested in, which was filthy inside and out, and let us have a test drive. He then gave us a price for our Auris of £3030! We have had numerous Toyotas in the past, and he obviously thought that as we were old customers physically and from the past, that he could rip us off. We got up and walked out telling him that we had had a much better offer that morning. He ran behind us saying that he would match the offer. He had therefore under valued our car by £4,170. He obviously thought we were stupid and senile. We went straight down the road and purchased a Honda. Be warned, these people are rip off merchants.
