Full of excuses .

I think all the managers must go on some sort of training school to become useless . Reading on other forums the excuses for not giving credit notes .1, Wheel cannot be returned as you have damaged it , no you suppiled the wrong one . 2, sorry you cannot return the bumper as it was special order . 3, you should of checked the wing for a side repeater hole before you painted it , no i sent you images . 4 , the box is damaged so i cannot resell it . 5 , Sorry you cannot return that body order as you we have run out of time to claim .6, i have just noticed that there is damage to the headlamp , we only have 24 hours to return it . So managers if you can agree to all these terms your hired . There is no goodwill as you the bodyshop are trapped using your local Tps . This is so bad as the customer should be able to choose , so they treat you as bad as they want as they know you cannot go else where . Shame none of the big guns don't read these reviews then they might get a clear idea on how bad these centres are . All my parts team all vote you poor and our group has over 50 shops . These bodyshops keep them employedbut no support for the customer .

Phone handler Clive Kendall

Phone handler Clive Kendall, i believe from dartford branch. Have dealt with this guy on the phone multiple times over the last few years. And there was many occasions where i left the phone call thinking how did i allow this guy to speak to me with such attitude. He regularly raises his voice, shuts down the customers concerns and opinions and speaks very rudely and its way worse then i am making it seem to be. By far one of the worst customer service i have ever experienced, for such a big company its a shame. I have no issue with any of your services or products, even the staff in store are amazing. But this guy has many times left me leaving the phone call feeling in a bad way due to the way he speaks to me. And its not the first time nor the 5th time but many times hes made me feel upset.

Update: clive told me my part (o ring seals for camshaft adjuster) i needed isnt servicable and they dont sell it and because i bought vvt phaser from elsewhere its my fault i dont have the seals and they cant give it to me. I knew it can be sold by tps as ive bought it a year ago but lost it. He was so firm and stuck on his decision even raising his voice and kept repeating himself like my opinion and knowledge is invalid compared to his. He didnt attempt to search deeper for my needs and blocked any attempts for me to try to explain to him.

The update is ive been to tps deptford and guess what. Ive got the o ring seals!!!!! Sold by tps and in stock and served to me by the wonderful, friendly and caring staff at deptford who have amazing customer service unlike clive !

Cannot get anything sorted with them

Cannot get anything sorted with them
We had a trade account, we've never had any invoices or statements emailed over, when I rang accounts department - the said they cannot do that. What account department cannot send invoices I really don't know. I work in accounts and we always send all invoices and statements on emails and if somebody missing copy - they can have it straight away. All other parts supplier email everything over. With TPS it's an impossible task. Then we've closed one company and new one was set up - we've asked for new account to be set up - emailed them several times with all documents, spoke with number of people - still nothing has been done. I'm waiting for account to be resolved for almost a year now. You cannot get some parts from anywhere else - otherwise I would not even bother and they have such an incompetent staff - it's so frustrating.

TPS Sheffield Genuine VW part delivered with box that had been opened

Genuine VW part delivered with box that had already been open, was told by the delivery driver it was only opened to check it, but the part is faulty, after spending the last 2 weeks eliminating anything else it could be at a cost to us. When rang them we were told we had to send it to VW as that was their policy to have a diagnositic which we need to pay for at £288 and if tested and if not faulty (which they are likely to say its not, and have no way of checking) we would have to pay another fee and buy a replacement part, which could be Hundreds!
They do not tell you this when you buy them. This is underhand and wrong. We are a Trade buyer and will not buy from them again!!!!!! Would give 0 stars if i could!!!!!

AVOID PETERBOROUGH

Firstly ordered a wheel sensor on my account which is registered in Wisbech but on my very first email I said I wanted to be delivered to kings Lynn, after 2 missed delivery attempts I got an email asking where I was when I said kings Lynn I was told it’s out of there range so been trying to deliver to Wisbech so a 2 hour drive to Peterborough and back to collect, when I got home I had bought the wrong one my fault, emailed Charlie at Peterborough branch who said bring it over and they would change, so I drove an hour to get there only to get some man on the counter to say it had been fitted which it hadn’t I explained it was just where I had held it but they didn’t want to know just completely not interested very poor attitude as soon as I walked in from the guy serving, so another hour drive home still not with the right part, so I’ve had 4 hours driving and half day off work to deal with these people, absolutely terrible service would definitely not recommend TPS Peterborough.

Swindon TPS branch - AVOID!

Terrible, terrible service. At1030 am, Swindon branch had all doors closed and a notice saying ring the bell on the workshop door. Might as well have not bothered. Bloke sat in the office twiddling his fingers never moved. Nobody answered the bell. Rang the bell again - and still nobody responded. I wasted 10 minutes waiting for this shower of ****. The concept of 'customer' clearly has not entered their heads. It will though when customers stop paying their wages. I shan't be paying towards their wages that's for sure.

Should actually be 0 stars

Should actually be 0 stars. As a garage we replaced a part through these which has failed after 250 miles. They are not willing to replace the part as they want us to take the car to a dealer! (which we wouldn't trust and would also take too long). it is obvious the part is faulty, so now we are having to replace the part ourselves through another company. Annoying as they know as a garage we need to use them for certain parts. Only going to use them now if desperate...

Poor customer service

I purchased a part from TPS which turned out to be faulty. When I queried this, they said I could only get a refund if I took my customer’s car to the dealer for a diagnostic check, which would cost more money and cause further delays. As a result, they are refusing to exchange the faulty part or reimburse me for it. I have since closed my account as I don’t want to be ripped off again.

Great service

Great service for sometimes difficult to source parts. More importantly, they are able to deliver, essential for the commercial vehicle trade. A reliable and reasonably priced supplier.

Dangerous driving

We were indicating to turn left on A148 with lorry on right turning right. TPS Norwich van reg: MC21 FLW came up on our right, blocked view of road and then turned left in front of us across the junction. Shocking and dangerous driving. Also dangerous overtaking with oncoming traffic further down the road.

Never again...

Had the misfortune of dealing with Richard on the sales counter, very rude, abrupt and had a smirk on his face. Not sure if on commission bonus but tried to push other things to order that my partner and garage confirmed I didn't need.

450% mark up prices, not all genuine parts and terrible customer service

First off, the bald guy with glasses is a sour faced idiot. He told me I’d never be able to get all my parts I required on that day, from anyone in scotland, and Livingston Auto parts had the lot, and was cheaper.

They tried to charge me £240 inc vat for the exact same non genuine part that was £35.00 at Livi Auto parts and anywhere else, and is just as cheap at the main dealership.

When I didn’t call ahead one day, and popped in to enquire about a part only, the big bald idiot wasn’t happy that it wasn’t a collection and had to go to his computer and check for my enquiry.

This bald guy loves a shrug of his shoulders.

Don’t be fooled. Not all genuine, and no where near competitive. If you live local, you could save so much money by driving elsewhere. I could drive to Bournemouth and back for the part and still have saved money. No exaggeration. RIP off merchants.

John From Edinburgh, who owns and works on VW’s all the time. Steer clear.

I'm not a customer nor do I have a VW but the TPS van driver on the N Circular going West bound just before Alan Day New Southgate needs to understand lane management insterad of just cutting me u and then giving obscene hand jestures as I tooted him. Looking at the reviews its no surprise that this individual just confirms what others have written. Just cant be bothered to pull up Dashcam video for this idiot

A week and counting and TPS SOUTHAMPTON…

A week and counting and TPS SOUTHAMPTON are unable to supply a part that is physical stock in one of this companies branches from the London area. No interest in making it appear quicker, no interest in chasing its arrival, no foresight to understand this minor part is keeping a brand new Audi off the road. The order for this was with You. Thanks guys for your lack of support to the Audi network. Gone are the days when you went to a main dealer and they ordered the part direct with the manufacturer. You should be proud, and thank you for allowing me to keep the miles off my new car.

Clifton branch... IQ of an icecream !

(The short version). Been a customer of TPS Clifton for about 8 yrs. with no problems) Phoned up to order service parts and entered my 6 digit account number. Answered by a new guy who couldn't find me on the system. Asked me for my account number, postcode amongst other things and kept asking me to repeat the info. as he kept getting mixed up ! Still couldn't find me. Then asked what i wanted. I asked for first item on my list of an ignition coil. After several minutes of questions from him, I worked out he was looking on the computer screen drawing for the part. I had to describe what it looked like before he said he couldn't find it and asked if it was a large spring! He was looking at suspension parts! Doesn't know one end of a vehicle for the other!!! Then we get back to my account and said he'd give me an email address to foreward copies of my 'letter heads' to so they could re-register me as a customer!! Cutting the story short, I hung up and TPS can whistle for the 'letter heading'! Who are they employing these days? I went to a closer motor factors and got everything over the counter and very little price difference ! (Also saved on petrol picking the gear up) So...Bye Bye TPS......

Customer service non-existent

My husband went to buy parts today at 12.45. He was told the invoice machine was turned off so they couldn't put through sales. He pointed out to them they were supposed to be open to 1pm, but they did nothing, just said again it's off. Rude, inconsiderate staff. Customer service -non existent. Will not be going back there.
