Good tool at a good price
Great for making and maintaining mountain bike trails in our local woods. The shaft is light and has a nice grip area but it could be a slightly better fit in the head as it is ever so slightly loose, but it doesn’t really affect the tools use. Good price too.

5 Stars, no complaints
Alright, so I don't work in the fire safety trade or as a firefighter. I just really wanted a long axe in the event of a fire after recently moving from house to house as a student and seeing the conditions of houses as well as how the doors can be a struggle to shove open. I'm very confident I've made a good investment here if a fire does break out and a door malfunctions/locks where I live. In the meantime I have been testing it on thick wooden pallettes for firewood, now it works an absolute charm.

Slow and missing parts
I order a mcleod, and it was slow delivery then when it came, the bolt required to secure the handle was the wrong size. I have tried to email but not heard anything back from them.

You ordered this at 19:35 on a Thursday evening, it was despatched the next day and it arrived the next working day Monday at 14:00. How is this delivery slow?
You say you tried to email us but no such email has been received.
Our telephone number is also on our website for contacting us.
We are sorry you feel that there was an issue with the product and we would of liked the opportunity to resolve it for you before you left us only one star review.
We have now had our techies and server providers search all mail servers for inbound messages from your email address and there are none apart from your original order. Please confirm when you sent the messages and what email address you used so as we can look into this further for you.
