Tramfabriek deserve the highest possible recommendation. Their products are innovative, of very high quality and supremely reliable. I have re- motored about 10 Dapol N gauge locos using their coreless motors and the slowrunning is impeccable.

Not only that but Sven is always available via email to provide advice and support. His friendly manner and good nature always make dealing with him a pleasure.

Through a recent dialogue with Sven I discovered their range of speakers and now plan to use these whenever possible.

I would like to thank Tramfabriek for providing a great range of specialist and not easily available items for the railway modeller, in particular narrow gauge items and replacement motors and accessories. I have updated drives and replaced parts on my old models with Tramfabriek parts and given them a new lease of life. I would have no hesitation in recommending Tramfabriek to other modellers of any scale. Have a look!

Overall disappointed, emails aren't consistent... I brought a motor of which the shaft broke my fault hands up... I accept hat I ordered another and paid.. I emailed Sven, to discuss he kindly refund my order and said he would replace... A week later nothing.. Blaming he had no information on the order (because he cancelled it 🙄) yet still hasn't asked where to send it.. And no replys... In fact its taken so long I could open a rival business tomorrow at lower prices. So not great customer service and not a unique product.
I would be willing to change my review if things improved.

In response to Sven.... Not lies and would be happy to publish emails if required. I have reviewed my rating in accordance with this allogation.
I'm a 100% on ebay, ship world wide and always respond to my customers within 24hrs. If there is an issue or a replacement needed I would deal with it there and then.
At least I don't swear at customers on emails Sven 😉
Unfortunately still no reply from Sven... No surprise there so my review will remain 1 star.

I am very new to narrow gauge modelling.

With a lot of help from Sven, I've converted a Kato chassis to DCC and got it running on my little test track.

I've asked a lot of beginner questions and nothing has been too much trouble for this guy.

Just got the Silvolde tramloc with working lights and sound.
It's a tiny wonder on wheels. Very well detailled, nice sound and it drives also fantastic. And that for such a small train.
I just dimmed the front lights more to a value of 10 by changing CV 55. But thats subject to personal taste.
Simply a wonderfull machine.
