I called to get some help and information. The first thing I encountered was Ai. After time and again of requesting a representative, I was finally connected with a young man of whom I could not understand most of what he was saying. After requesting someone who could speak good English, and not being able to get him to send my call forward, I finally hung up. I don't know why companies want to hire people for phone work who can't speak English in a manner that can be understood.

The worst annuity company ever. I required annuitization as part of qualifying for a mortgage, so I started the process months in advance. Transamerica agents assured me the process was complete and payments would start, however the payments never did. When I called yet again, I was told they need more verification. I do NOT recommend this company, as I've struggled with their substandard customer service for years.

Start out by saying this company is unorganized. I have been trying for weeks to withdraw my 401 k . I am over 60 , so there should be no problem. I have jumped through hoops to get money. I've had information notarized, bank info for direct deposit that the bank printed out. After waiting a week I called for the 9th time and was told bank info did not match their info. My withdrawal is under $4000. If you have money in this companies care I would withdrawal immediately. Customer service is useless and very hard to communicate with. Representatives are based in south africa,hence all the problems. Dont use this company
