Scammers alert

Scammers alert , never ever buy a travel ticket through this company , they have kept £1,000 or more of my money from airline tickets purchased for a Qatar airlines flight , complained to Travelgenio several times and zero response , also complained to Qatar and totally uninterested , in my opinion both as bad as each other

This company charged me for extras that…

This company charged me for extras that I wasn't able to use and wont refund. Furthermore, the customer service is INEXISTENT. You will be left in a maze of confusion trying to find a way to contact them be it by phone, email or via their portal. MY ADVICE IS TO STAY CLEAR OF THEM FOR YOUR PEACE OF MIND.

Their customer service is almost non…

Their customer service is almost non existent. There was just a robot who couldn’t even read my emails. The response time was also very big. It was like I was talking with the walls. I couldn’t solve anything through them. I wanted to change the dates of my flight. Before asking for the change I looked up if there we’re available flights on their site for the dates I wanted and there were. Same airline, same timetable just different date. They replied that there were no available flights for that date. I send them a print screen with the results on their site. I got the exact same reply (copy-paste) as before. Definitely a human being did not read my email. I asked for other 5 dates to check availability (on their site they were all available). I never got an answer back.

SCAM - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Locator: 19947834 / Involuntary Change - Flight Cancelled & No refund
This company is a SCAM - AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I bought a flight ticket for 8 people; first they did not notify me that luggage was already included in the ticket and they made me buy additional luggage. Then the flight was canceled and I was not notified of anything, not an email, sms or notification. I found out about this trying to do the check-in a few days before the flight. On the TRAVELGENIO website the flight was still listed as confirmed, but it wasn't, it was already cancelled. I contacted the airline, and accepted the option to cancel the flight for all passengers instead of changing it to another flight; and they told me that TRAVELGENIO had to refund the cost of the tickets because I had bought them through their website, which was directed to me by skyscanner.net. I have sent them several emails and have not received any response. Then I found similar victims of TRAVELGENIO on Instagram and Facebook. Apparently it's a big scam, I don't understand how a platform like skyscanner can work with this fraud company.
I will do my best so that there are no more victims and skyscanner ends its agreement with them immediately.

We purchased 3 tickets and my wife's…

We purchased 3 tickets and my wife's name got ticketed with her middle name instead of her 1st name we informed them the same day and 2 weeks later we are a day before our flight and they have done nothing but sent automatic responses and have failed to help us in any way. They told us it would be fixed and we waited but then just robo responses.
I have all three chats and emails and will pursue a chargeback

Remember that when you buy a plane ticket the names must be entered exactly as they appear on the official documents.

3 price changes during booking

We use momondo to search for trips.
When you click on the link there, *every time* there will be a different price shown and *never* the one advertised on momondo.

So, momondo shows a price A.
You follow the link and get a price B. Fun fact, once you click on next there, you will be shown a price C > B. If you are fine with that still and continue booking, just when you provided all data and click on "pay", you will be told "the price has changed" and you will *always* be shown a price D > C.

This is not tied to other users booking tickets. The airline showed the same number of seats all the time, nobody booked one in the middle of any of these booking steps.
And what a coincident, if we try 5 times over multiple hours, just when we are about to book the price changes?

This company has a 1 star rating for a reason.

EDIT after response:
Why would I contact any of your agents? I have no interest in doing business with a company whose business model is to lure customers with fictitious prices, and, after having wasted their time by filling in tons of data, reveals the true price just in the last moment.

What kind of Company that have a computer to answer people who have been waiting for their refund for ages and every time they get a negative feedback their stupid computer " please send an email blablabla". It's simple you suckers, we payed you not a an air company, you pay us back our money and then take your time to make the air companies refund you.

Never buy ticket from this agency

This is the worst experience I ever had with buying flight tickets.
I booked a flight with this agency that seemed to be a bit cheaper than the airline website. For some reason I could not travel, so I used the link they sent in their email to request for a date change. I contacted them three times through that link, but never got a response. Then I tried to find their phone number. I called them and waited each time at least for 30 to 45 minutes. I requested the date change. They said I need to pay the fee and also the price difference and then I need to call them again. I did so and immediately paid the fee the same day, called them again, waited for 40 minutes for them to respond, and they confirmed that I paid the price and that I receive the confirmation in 2 to 3 hours. It never happened, I waited two days, and I called them again, this time waited 49 minutes for them to respond. Again when they responded the put me on hold to check, and the lady on that side said that the system cannot process, because today's difference is 8 euros more??? I said I did not call you today, I called you the day before yesterday and paid immediately and you confirmed everything is fine. She again put me on hold to investigate, and finally informed me that it will be OK, and they will send me the confirmation for the new ticket in a few hours, and the whole call tooke me 1 hour and 20 minutes. But then guess what happened??? they sent the ticket with the wrong departure date, instead of June 21st, they made it June 25th.
I think this is a joke or a hidden camera. I cannot believe such a terrible customer service, and this super difficult way to get support.
I am going to send my feedback and objection to Momondo as well, since that has been the website who directed me to this terrible agency.
Never never buy from this website. The cheaper price may fool you, but it is not worth it.

Time Conflict Made by Airline NEED RESOLVE

I have purchased 3 reservations of flight on travel2be.com, all of the flights JL802 time was on 1000-1400, but it has been changed to 1555-1955 NOT by me, and it now has a conflict with my connect flight JL68 which departure on 18:30 to Seattle. I've made calls to Japan Airlines, they said that all JL802 on Tuesdays have delayed their flight but the Thursdays will remain the same. I will need to contact Travel2be to make the change. So here is my request, there is two option:

Option A:
Postponed ALL my flights 2 days later, from (1/25-2/2) to (1/27-2/4) because we need to be in Seattle for 9 days. I have done the research that all the flights I've booked (JL68/JL802/SQ35/AS1092) will still fly on 1/27 and 2/4.

Option B:
FULLY refund 3 ordered of tickets I've booked. I mean FULLY refund without deducting any of the fees since this change is not made by me and it is impossible for me to arrive in Seattle because of the changes, which cause a lot of inconveniences.

SCAMMERS AND THIEVES!!!

Terrible company and terrible customer service, they stole my money 3 times. My ticket got cancelled because of Coronavirus which was understandable, then I paid extra for a voucher, got cancelled again, then paid again for another voucher, got cancelled again. So paid 3 times, didnt receive any flight, and when I asked for my money back, 0 compensation. Just flat out stole my money 3 times. This company has no respect for their customers and is completely fine to steal peoples money, absolutely disgraceful, NEVER USE THIS COMPANY OR YOU WILL GET SCAMMED AND WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY!

****UPDATE 29/10/21****

I responded to travelgenio with an email about my refund, guess what? Instead of paying me back or providing any form of compensation, they had the nerve and audacity to ASK ME FOR ANOTHER PAYMENT? Absolutely f****g crazy. Can you imagine? Please all beware and never use this company, they are the worst and will steal your money!!!!! Spread the word everyone and make sure people stay away from these SCAMMERS!

Travelgenio confirmed refund, waiting for over 8 months.

Our flights were canceled by Lufthansa in March 2020 due to the Corona-pandemic in the US. We didn’t cancel the tickets ourselves. Three tickets were cancelled and refunded to TravelGenio in September -confirmed by Lufthansa. It is now over 8 months and we still do not have our refund. We have written noumerous emails, tried calling almost every week.

Please nobody use this company

Please nobody use this company. They are professional thieves and liars. After my flight was cancelled they advised me if i didn’t seek a refund they would replace my flights for free. They then charged me another 50euros to change the flight and told me my flight was confirmed. After i emailed this mob two days later they told me i would receive my flight details when i paid an extra 90euros to pay the flight difference which was a huge lie. My first flight was 544 dollars. My new flight was 420 dollars plus 80 dollars to change flight so i now paid them 629 dollars before the asked for another 90 euros roughly 200 dollars. These people are professional scammers and should be avoided at all costs. After them going quiet i opened an investigation with my bank for a refund. They then started replying changing their story and said the flight difference was 25dollars after i had been forced to book flights elsewhere losing even more money. I advise anyone else who have been robbed by these stressful bandits to open a payment dispute with their banks.

I'm working in the Chargeback Department for one of the American Travel Agencies hence, I'm well aware of all the regulations, eligibility and the refund process so all the bul***t you get from them via email/calls/forms is crap! If you're eligible for a full refund, you're surely eligible to get it and they're just holding your money!

This is how to get a refund:

Question: How to get your money back from Travelgion?
Answer: Request a chargeback (not to them of course).

The following steps got me back the full amount paid to Travelgenio. In total it took me 4 months and 2 weeks in order to get it right.

0. Share this instruction freely and without moderation.

1. Get your booking confirmation with your payment details.

2. (try to) Contact Travelgenio, ‘on the record’. i.e. send an email asking for your refund to their various email addresses you find on the web. Be clear and polite.

3. And engage an ODR request through the European Commission. (That was actually my first attempt to be refunded, finally it was a good way to show one attempt to get in touch with Travelgenio and my willingness to find a solution with them).

4. (Maybe) wait until your request expires. (I waited the 3 months, no result.)

5. Contact your bank telling them that you want to launch a chargeback request. The bank will tell you the details of their payment service provider (i.e. a "payment and transactional services company").

6. Contact the payment service provider. Follow their instructions helping you to compile a file for your case. Get your info ready for the phone call: credit card number, booking dates, first attempt to contact Travelgenio. In my case, I then got a case number and an email address to which send my formal request and proofs.

7. Write an email with a description of the events: booking, cancellation and the fact that the airline refunds Travelgenio (because they are the airlines’ customer and not you). Describe the different attempts to contact Travelgenio (email & ODR request + the absence of a contact form on their website). Attach all the PDF documents you have so far: booking, contact attempts, etc.

8. Some inspiration for the beginning and ending of the email:

‘I am writing to you in order to complete my file of a payment dispute. It concerns a purchase of airline tickets from the travel agency Travelgenio S L. The purchase took place on [date]. It is a round trip for [number] people between [origin and destination] with a transit in [airport]. Details of the booking and payment are attached to this email.’

[everything about your case]

‘In view of the circumstances described above and the apparent refusal to respond to my request, I wish to contest the payment and recover the money transferred to Travelgenio.’

9. Submit your request to the payment service provider and … wait. (1 month and 17 days later the money was back on my account).

Scam! Dont book and if you do read all text very carefully! They charged me 100 euros for asking the airline if we could book seats and we got no for an answer. On the booking site it looked like we were booking seats....

My experience with …

My experience with Travel2be/Travelgenio was incredibly terrible. My main issue with this company was that I wanted to add my middle name to the booking information after I booked. Initially there was not enough character space to add my 5 letter middle name that I add to all my other bookings, therefore my middle name was not added because it would not allow me to. The passenger information boxes on the webpage was not designed for individuals with longer names. The response I got for why they didn’t have enough character spaces for first and middle names was that the company came to an agreement with airlines to limit character spaces because for instance “some Chinese people have long names.” That is an absurd and racist response that I got from Martin via telephone contact. He even raised his voice at me and did not let me finish relaying my concerns. To contact a customer representative over the telephone was a nightmare. I had to call 4 times because my call was dropped multiple times due to the fact they do not use landlines, instead use internet calling. I ended up being contacted by a higher up customer representative via email as I was not satisfied with the customer service I received over the phone. Her solution to the problem I had was to cancel the initial booking and pay a 200 dollar cancellation fee and re-book with the company at a higher price for what I originally paid for (approximately 460 dollars more in Canadian). They are scammers and blatant liars that make up ridiculous excuses. Do not book with this company. They do not value their customers and will treat them like garbage.
