Initial impressions

I don't use the App; I use their website. So I won't speak on the user experience for the App.

When first making the purchase, I had a few errors pop up. This was concerning; however, my username and password were created, and I was able to log in to the site without issue. More than likely, this was an issue on my side. I have 3-5 extensions in my browser, which sometimes can cause website issues.

Moving onto the meat and potatoes, the site itself. Their site has two main features/options. The first option I used was "City Alerts," With this option, I could customize an "Alert" for a specific destination I had in mind. In this case, it was Dublin. Creating the alert was intuitive, and within minutes I had a custom alert created for my Dublin trip.

The next option on the site is called "Regional Alerts." This alert focuses on the city and airport you travel out of and searches for deals from that specific airport. You can choose multiple airports for the regional alert as well. For instance, instead of picking Sky Harbor Airport, I can pick All Phoenix Ariports. Like the City Alert, the Regional Alert was intuitive and easy to set up. Within minutes I created an alert that searches for the best deals to multiple destinations. Part of me likes the idea of the Regional Alert better than the City Alert. With the Regional Alert, I can choose a destination like Europe instead of creating multiple City Alerts. This type of alert provides flexibility for my flights.

Overall, the user experience has been good, and the site is performing as I would expect. So far, the experience is a 5 star experience.

I will update the review in a few months focusing more on the alerts and if they triggered.

No response ..

Updated review ::
Initially I was impressed with the options, but now I am frustrated, the app does not give any alerts and customer service does not respond. The app just shows one moving icon showing that it will take time. I also tried test alerts with $1000 max price for the trip selling at $300, and it does not show any alerts. It seems like scam to me now. Do not waste your money.

I updated my review.

I am trying this out for the first time July 2022. I'll let you know how it goes, my honest opinion. Currently trying to go BOS to FLL.

This app seems to be having problems. The icon keeps shacking left and right and offers no solutions. I am downgrading my review.

Update 7/15/2022, I'm actually surprised how much I'm interested in the trips this app is suggesting and the huge savings. It may be because of the moment when the Euro and the US dollar are so matched. But I am enjoying the tips. Five stars for now!

TravelHacker makes travel dreams a reality.

With the rising cost of everything these days, travel is becoming more of a luxury. Fortunately, TravelHacker is there to help me travel in style at a fraction of the price. Better, yet, I can personalize Special Travel Alerts for places I want to go - and set limits on how much I want to spend. Why dream about travel when TravelHacker makes it an affordable reality?

Amazing app

Amazing app, If you love traveling and saving money at the same time then this is for you. Love the settings where you can select the region/place you would like to go and just forget it. These deals are never seen elsewhere so to me its well worth it. Keep up the good work guys.

At first I was a bit skeptical but then I was completely shocked by how amazing the Travel Hacker is. Ability to buy one-time license for a fixed fee, plus free updates.
Innovative, unique product that helps you save money on travelling the world.
Let alone the fact that it provides you the covid risk levels of every country before grabbing a deal!

Very promising project with lots of features coming in!
Keep it up travel hacker team.

Get Hacked by TravelHacker App!

They promise a paid member to save lots of $$$
Instead, the prices they show on their app are worse than free Google Flight alerts!
Just don't buy this and waste your money on this app. I happened to buy 3-year premium membership through StackCommerce. When I requested the refund, they shared their small type that I have redeemed the code so they won't refund my money! Even when the product is defective and buggy.
TravelHacker App promises that they will find the 'hidden' deals for you so you can travel cheap and save money! The results are totally opposite. You pay for the premium membership, land up on their preferred site and pay more!
In one sentence - Stay away from TravelHacker App - and if possible, stay away from buying anything from StackCommerce either with their refund policy.
