Why issue a voucher then make it impossible to use?

When our flights were cancelled we thought we would do the right by them and re book for next year. When the flights were not available we agreed to the voucher. Last week we noticed the flights we required for 2021 had been released, so tried to book them. It was then we realized that we had to book via the customer service number even though they recommended we use the online service for almost everything. They have closed down all other forms of communication to contact them. After trying numerous times for many hours, I actually got through today. It was an overseas call center, a very bad line and delay. After some time 'Ashwani' agreed to price match the online prices, after even longer he said the flights were booked and please hold while he booked the sports equipment. Yet more time on hold until I was cut off.....
Great work EasyJet :-(

Substandard customer service.

I wouldn't have given them the one star but had to so I could submit the review. Like many others I've had my flight cancelled. Submitted the request for refund so I can divert the funds to a staycation for the family. No response within 28days. I contacted them after 40 days. After trying to get through for 3 days, the person I spoke to at refunds desk (Kamo)first tried saying he couldn't understand me.- I'm Scottish- then said to call back after 90 days. He refused to pass my complaint onto a supervisor and then hung up on me. Another call to customer services- they said they were still working on refunds from cancelled flights in March and hadnt got round to my flights in May as yet.The lady was trying to be more helpful but stated it was the refunds dept that would have to deal with me and transferred the call only to have someone hang up on me without speaking to me. I have tried to get back through to them with no success and no facility to email the refund team direct. Very very poor customer service. Doubt seriously if I will ever use them in the future.

Very bad customer service

Very bad customer service, information and communication. We were booked to go to Gibraltar in 9th July. We really didn't want to go as we are both approaching 70 years of age. They said we could have a voucher but had to request it before midnight on 23rd June otherwise if the flight went we would have to go or lose our money. We did this and guess what on the 24th June they cancelled the flight. Bit of a coincidence. You can't tell me that they didn't know before the voucher deadline that they weren't flying

Still waiting for our refund..!

We are still waiting for our refund for our flights from the beginning of April, well past the 7 day legal requirement, well past the 28 days that you say you will try and get back to your customers and past the 90 day backstop you state. EasyJet, you were found to have not complied with the legislation by ‘Which’ magazine and removed the refund facility from your website at the point I needed to claim back my money. You only gave the option of having to get through to your call center knowing full well a large proportion of people would be unable to do this as you are so busy. You were forcing people into taking vouchers when you should have been returning their money. I would like my money back for the flights you cancelled; I do not want your voucher. Please return my money to me. You are demonstrating awful customer service right now at a time people really need help. It's not the problem itself that matters, it's how you deal with it and you are very disappointing.

Thieves! Avoid

I used to prefer easyJet over Ryanair (which in my opnion are the worst thieves ever), however, easyJet are taking the same ill-fated policy to rip people as best as they can! I have booked a return flight to Paris Orly around 5 months ago. With 3 weeks to go, they changed the date of my flight which is very inconvenient for me considering all the hotel bookings and my arrangements. What's more, they've also changed the destination of my flight (now they're flying me to a different airport on the other side of Paris - 1.5 hours away from Orly)! What kind of a contractual obligation is this?! I tried to change my flight back to land in Orly, and they're asking for 125€ more instead of being sorry! Fraudsters. Never book with them again

Terrible communication and customer service

As can be seen from the messages I, like many people, can hardly express my frustration at the company. Legally when a flight is cancelled you should be refunded in 7 days. I appreciate these are difficult times so the 'it may take 28 days' line whilst not right I could understand - but saying 'don't contact us for 90 days if you're not been refunded' is totally ridiculous. I'm really losing the little faith I had left with the company as they clearly don't care about their customers.

My family with two little girls was…

My family with two little girls was supposed to travel on 1 July from Catania to London one month ago and now EasyJet cancelled the flight and is not offering any flight for any date close to early July. I'm very disappointed with the airline's behaviour as this seems to be sistemic and many families plans are ruined because of the lack of integrity that EasyJet shows by cancelling the flight almost last minute.

What a disgrace I’ve been waiting weeks for my money
I got a reply today. And they explained they were sorry as the flight refund they were dealing with was for someone else
No reply to emails. Don’t answer the phone can’t claim refund option on website. As they have removed it.

Received an email on 21 April from…

Received an email on 21 April from EasyJet saying they would be refunding my cancelled flight, but due to volume, could be UP TO 28 days. No refund received, emails responded to by this email address is not in use donotreply, telephone number gives a lengthy message saying they are very busy, call back later, and then disconnects. What do you have to do to get a refund from these people. With service like this, will not fly with them again.

Easyjet making obtaining a refund after they cancelled our flights extremely difficult.
Still waiting for them to refund our money.
In future Easyjet will not be booked by any members of my family.

28days for Refund Expired - on hold to Call Centre over 3 hrs

Booked 8 return flights MAN-Athens back in November (Daughter's Wedding) (at just under a thousand pounds)

The Scheduled Flight was Cancelled by Easyjet.

The 28day period for pay out of the refund was expired so I called Easyjet's Call Centre (on 08MAY20)

On hold for 3hrs and 20 minutes when I finally called it a day.

Was it something I never said Easyjet? :)

Cheating and Manipulative EasyJet

Having been a fan of Easyjet in the past, I am so disappointed with its response to cancellation refunds for Covid 19. It has set up a deliberately difficult to contact system and cannot be contacted at all by telephone or website: its customer service number just cuts you off with an abrupt, 'Goodbye!' So much for all their previous guff about customer service. I shall never trust Easyjet again.

Poor service from this large company

Poor service from this large company. Flight has been cancelled but i am only offered the option of either a change or voucer. i need a full refund. Cannot get through to them on any platform. I have tried their phones, web form, email, twitter and others. Still no response from them.

Abanded by Easyjet

Having flown out to Turkey with Easyjet the Coronavirus affected our 14 day holiday on the third day. From that point, Easyjet cancelled our flight and offered no other help, the Facebook message was an automated response, the Facebook page was simply copied and past messages offering a link to "My Booking" or to their live chat which was closed. No telephone or email help, in our eyes Easyjet simply abandoned us in Turkey offered no customer support or help of any kind and at one point posted on their social media to make your own way home.
This company cannot be trusted with your families safety in a time of crisis.

Untruthful

In Fuertaventura. Involved my MP to assist me to get home. Full marks for the help from his office. MP arranged for Easyjet to call me, as Easyjet had cancelled flights. Call left me fuming!!!! Blamed the Government!

Great Customer Service

Just had to change my booking within 24 hours. I was changed for both flights! Rang Easyjet CS and spoke to Wendy who sorted out my refund within minutes..she was friendly and professional...she deserves some form of recognition for her great customer service..she has restored my faith and I will continue to fly with Easyjet in future.

If I could I wouldnt even give them a one star there staff in tenerife south are the most horrible people I have ever met in my life even easyJet cabin crew told me to put a complaint in against them they let us fly out with 4 carry ons. my partner couldnt come back with us after he was not well so the 3 carry ons we had coming home they tryed to charge us 160 euro don't know we're that price come from they had my children in tears as I didn't have money to pay 160 euro to get there clothes back home bairng in mind they were a lot lighter than when we went no toiletries or anything and one less bag in the end they made me pay 60 euro for 3 carry ons wich they let me through with 4 on the way out I had my taxi fair home in my bank witch was 30 pound and I had 30 euro for kids to get food on the plain.but no I couldn't even get them anything to eat as I had to wake family up at 2 in the morning needing lifts home from airport I want my money back as they let me take my bags out but never looked twice at them but the way we got treated I wouldn't treat any one like that in my life telling my little girl she was an actress as she soon stoped crying because I payed the money for the luggage who the he'll they think they are I wouldn't care people had bigger cases than us the point blank refused to let us go through witch at one point the radio went off and her face was like thunder as who ever she was speaking to had must of told them to let us on.oncss we got on the plain the cabin crew were totally different I burst in to tears I didn't have money I had to take it out my kids mouthes as that was for there scandeless prices on the plain why should I have to pay for 3 carry ons that they didnt even way they were heavy going it's a joke cheap flights I would rather pay dubble next time than fly with them as for calling my daughter she was upset thinking she had to leave all her good expensive clothes my point is they let us fly out but vharged us to come home and my partners seat was free as he was ill in tenerife and couldn't fly disgusting. 21 of December we came home was the worst Christmas and everyone who was on the flight come ted to the cabin crew how disgusting rude they were being to me my son and daughter then having to get on flight when everyone was sitting I burst in to tears I couldn't hold it back thank you easy Jet for the worst services from tenerife south ever and iv been 18 times kelly h newcastle upon tyne as iv said I would rather pay 2 times as much to fly with some one else than them iv sent emails like they told me and havnt even had an email to say sorry kiss my bum or anything 22 I sent the complaint

Pre-booked and paid for product not received

Pre-booked and paid for product that was not delivered to me in the flight from Geneva. I am a EasyJet plus member and a member of the flight club. In September I paid for a prebooked tobacco product But the cabin supervisor informed me that it was not available on the flight because the aircraft had been changed and items were not onboard. She advised me that she would record the incident in her flight notes. I have made a number of phone calls and sent five emails and filled in an online form. I am still waiting for my £56 to be reimbursed. Customer service is absolute rubbish.
