It's such a contrast

It's such a contrast. The ground check in staff were absolutely useless at Gatwick North Terminal, they just could not be bothered to help. We were two, both traveling with assistance pre booked but at the baggage drop which is self automated nobody wanted to help. We struggled to place our one item of hold baggage onto the scales and enter our flight details......was any EasyJet staff willing to assist, NO. So much for caring in the community or accomodating disability. Disgraceful.
On the other hand the flight crew were lovely, accomodating and friendly. If I was to give a star for the check in staff they wouldn't get one, the air crew would get five.

EZY8922 dreadful

EZY8922 - Arrived at Faro airport with plenty of time.
No one to help with special assistance requirements at this point. We asked and was made to wait in so called 'speedy boarding then told we would have to split our family apart and only one person was allowed to be with our autistic daughter. After waiting 25 minutes for an assistance operative we have had to all run through too make our flight. To now find out we are now delayed with no take off time. Due to paperwork issues.
STOP LYING IT IS DOWN TO YOUR CHANGE OF RULES ON BAGGAGE!!!! We experienced this in June 2021.

Brilliant airline and good customer service.

I had my outward flight to Lisbon cancelled (I re-booked Wizzair) I cancelled the flight and received a refund within 48 hours. Wizzair then cancelled our outbound flight and I could not get a direct flight out on that day from same airport.
I DM easyjet explained the situation asked if I could have a voucher for the homeward flight, I could not have asked for better service. The guy said he was happy to refund the flight and again received in my card within 48 hours.
I love easyjet even last year when refunds were a nightmare we got ours within 28 days. I think if you use all the correct procedures and are pleasant there are no problems.

hardjet, the digital airline that's anything but

Attempting to check in online today has been dire. The website was not responding this morning. I've now attempted four times to book seats online and each time been faced with a generic error and a suggestion to call the contact centre, the details of which aren't apparent from the website - the customer service option is not active. When I called the contact centre the call handler asked for a £20 additional fee to process the booking and said that my travel agent could book the seats. That is not true. Very disappointing!

Booked a easyJet holiday

Booked a easyJet holiday, been trying to reset my password for over a week now to enable me to book my seats. No reset link is being sent. I have been ringing customer service for over a week and just get fobbed off by the European call center staff.
They call themselves a digital airline but can't reset a password so you can use them digitally.

DON'T GIVE UP.

I had a flight cancelled August 2020 due to travel restrictions.
I requested a refund but was advised a voucher only was available which I reluctantly accepted which had an impact on my travel insurance and any credit card claims.
I realised this was wrong and contacted Customer Services by email-initially I received the standard reply I had "accepted" vouchers-I advised them this was wrong and I was now requesting a full refund which started weekly emails and really being fobbed off eventually I contacted CAB who advised to inform Easyjet I was planning to escalate complaint to Aviation ADR eventually I was given a full refund as a "good will gesture" no they were required to give me a full refund for a cancelled flight.
DON'T GIVE UP.

Great customer service

I have recently cancelled my Tenerife holiday in September due to the current climate, I requested a full cash refund and my deposit back as credit. It was so easy. My deposit credit was in my Easyjet account immediately which I used to pay towards another existing holiday next July. The cash was in my bank less than 48hrs after cancellation! I was very very happy with how easy and hassle free it all was, because of this I will always try to book with Easyjet in the future.

They cancelled my holiday…

They cancelled my holiday telling me the flights were no longer available only for me to check and it was all a lie you can still book my holiday from the same airport on the same aircraft. Then they tried to keep my deposit as a credit note for my next trip! What an absolute joke.

I used the online feature to change the…

I used the online feature to change the date of a flight however once confirmed the date given for the return was not what I entered. I immediately called easy jet customer service to get this corrected and they were rude and like the website now said it would cost £75 to make the change. Given it is all systems and changes happening in split seconds this was an absolute rip off. Had to make the change but will now contact my bank to reverse the transaction. Incredible. I would not book with them again, penny pinching.

Easyjet refund …

I have moved flights a few times since original booking September 2019 for a holiday April 2020 .My last flight has been cancelled so I was offered a refund but was cautious due to all the adverse publicity around Easyjet refunds . From my personal experience I can only thank Easyjet for the quick refund of the original booking fee and extra charges that were incurred when I had changed flights due to Covid cancellations

Be very careful when trying to get a refund for an easyjet holiday! We had an email to say our flights were cancelled and apparently thats not the same as the holiday being cancelled!!!!!! When we followed the link in the email to request a refund they wouldn't refund the deposit in cash as apparently we cancelled the holiday even though we couldn't get to the hotel as the flight was cancelled and they wouldn't find an alternative. We are now stuck with a credit note that we don't want. Won't be using easyjet again so thats £120 lost. Very sly and sneeky and not the way to treat customers who have helped to support them during this pandemic.

Be careful not to book a car rental…

Be careful not to book a car rental with your flight. If your flight has to change your car rental won't update. Even if you put in your new flight information the booking still won't update. I lost €150 that they would not refund because it was my fault not to triple check they updated my car rental booking.

I just happened to check prices for our…

I just happened to check prices for our flights in September and noticed that the dates we were flying on no longer existed. I logged in to my account and there was a message stating flights had been cancelled. Ive had no email communication from EasyJet. Appalling level of service.

Amazing service

Amazing service, Cash refund from cancelled flights within 48 hours.
Waited over 8 months with a different airline. I will no doubt be booking my future flights with easyJet.

Fast Cash Refund!

I requested a cash refund from Easyjet on the evening of 23 March 21 for a weekend away flight departing 22 April 21. I did not want a voucher. The funds were received on my credit card on 25 March 21 having been processed the day after I made the request. I have unfortunately had to cancel flights with a number of airlines over the last year. Even waiting 12 months for refunds. This was the most efficient of them all!

I'm absolutely appalled with the women…

I'm absolutely appalled with the women I spoke to today (time was 10.am) regarding trying to book a holiday to the Grand Yacici Club Turban Thermal Hotel (area Turkey) She firstly answered me in a such despondent manner !.I really tried my hardest to be polite and tried to explain the nature of my call.
The bare face lies she told was embarrassing and even when I tried to ask a question she pretended she could not hear me ! I had the full cost of the holiday in front of me ( £1,785) but she pulled a ridiculous figure from the top of her head and said her price was £200 plus £15 admin cost lol..

Well done to your sale team at Easyjet for loosing my business and very big Thank you

I then phoned jet2 and ended up speaking to a sale agent who went above and beyond and after hearing my experience with the Easyjet sales team then gave me the most amazing deal ! They charged me £1,660 for the exact holiday and also gave me a free upgrade ! (The agent was Called Ian Grant) Big part of me is relieved I never used Easyjet as the duty of care could be in all the departments . feel safe booking with jet2

Easyjet - you reap what you sow...

Like most of the reviewers, we have had many good experiences with Easyjet however some of their covid 'policies' have let them down badly... Every supplier, event management or travel company I had bookings with prior to the covid outbreak, acted with integrity, understanding and gave an amazing level of customer service even though we were all entering a period of uncertainty.
Easyjet by contrast, chose to be arrogant, rude and unhelpful showing nothing but distain for their loyal passengers.
In February 2020, we booked a weekend trip to Jersey for my mother & father-in-laws 60th wedding anniversary (there were 13 of us going to celebrate). All year we didn't know whether we would be allowed to travel or not but up until 3 days before our flight out of Liverpool, things were looking good. We filled in all our paperwork, agreed to testing at the airport on arrival etc. and packed our bags. Two days before we were due to fly, Jersey amber-lighted England which meant we would have to isolate for 5 days on entering Jersey. Since we were only there for 2 nights, this was a problem for us. The hotel were amazing and refunded us immediately (even though we had booked a non refundable rate) but Easyjet basically told us there was nothing they could do. They wouldn't move our flights, give us a credit note or issue a refund. We would have happily moved our flights to another time but their 'policy' wouldn't allow for such a reasonable request...
Easyjet are apparently well within their right... as the flight left (not sure who would have been on it...) as scheduled but their lack of compassion, openness to try and resolve the situation and their rudeness leaves a very bitter taste.
Had the flights been booked during the pandemic then I would have accepted that I'd be taking a chance... but they weren't. They were booked prior to the outbreak.
Having championed them in the past and supported their growth, I now see them for what they really are... a grubby, cheap little airline that has no place delivering service like this in our brave new world. The cream will float to the top... Easyjet, delivering service like this, you will forever remain a bottom feeder.

If there is a way to give -0 (negative Zero ) I would give to this company> My wife got professional document from embassy to travel. Over the phone to make CHECK - IN We were told that easy jet won accept her to travel. We spent all night aware because of that. The receptionist was very but very rude (I was surprised how can someone be so rude and negative over the phone - does not matter how polity you try to be they still pushing rudeness). giving many misleading & different information all at the same time. call was made for Easy jet UK 02/01/2021 at about 09:16
