Their non-refundable booking policy is a rip-off ! Had to cancel a trip to the hospital and forthcoming operation the next day as I was cursed with the flu which meant the cancellation. Awful
Their non-refundable booking policy

I wanted to bring my 888th month old baby with me and your website said that three and under is free. The lady did not let me bring my baby in for free so which she insisted I pay the fee for two people. You also don't have free breakfast without any eggs, milk, nuts, fruit, vegetables, oil, salt, sugar, grains, water, oxygen or carbon dioxide. I only eat peppers you didn't have any.

February in the cold
My Daughter and I arrived at The Travelodge Norwich Central on 10th February 2025. Was greeted by Paula to say that there was no hot water. We live in Lowestoft and no one had previously informed us. This is the second time it's happened. Several other people were being checked in but we're not being told. We were not happy? The staff did their best but I am an elderly lady who needs these simple facilities. The hotel heating systems needs necessary funds from the owners, to reciprocate the brilliance, it once had been.
Rugby weekend and Travellodge over charged…
Rugby weekend and Travellodge charged £250 for a double room which tonight (Monday) is £25. Shocking exploitation of demand. Based on night at a £250 room the room was small, furnishings basic, interior design very poor, overlooking a building site. Facilities were all basic including the shower.
Don't bother with breakfast
Staff on reception very helpful, room OK. But breakfast was awful, most things running low and not replenished very quickly, the juice tasted like it had been watered down and no one was clearing the tables. I am so glad that we didn't pay for the 2nd day or I would have been asking for a refund!!!
travellodge on A38…
I stayed at travel lodge on A38 Northbound near Burton on Trent
I stayed several weeks due to circumstances and all the staff were friendly professional and helpful. In particular Dave the deputy Manager he went above and beyond in ensuring I had a comfortable stay…
Thank you

I lasted less than 10 mins....
Nowhere near Cambridge (not even on a bus route), near a Gregs and Burger King (both closed), (but the Shell Petrol Station was open). Lots of people outside with their roll ups, I have no problem with social security/immigration usage, but absolutely no mobile phone signal and stupidly expensive for flaky 'wi fi'.
Enjoy 1970's inner city life (in the middle of no where).
Another excellent stay in London with Travelodge
Stayed at London City Travelodge Feb 10th-14th. Extremely pleased and could not give less than 5 stars
- comfy, clean, warm room. Not one of the "extra large" rooms but plenty large enough for us. Bed extremely comfortable and gave us 4 good nights' sleep
- breakfast deal very good. Excellent value. Good range of choice and very tasty
- staff very friendly and helpful
- excellent location: 2 tube stations within 5 minutes walk, close to Tower of London. All the main tourist sites are within 4km on foot/15 minutes by tube
Our 5th stay in London with Travelodge - just as good as previous visits
Travellodge Windsor Central
Stayed 2 nights at Winsor travel lodge, position is fantastic, 80 yards from the station exit, right in town so super access to everything including the castle. Hotel entrance is a little dark and dowdy on approach but fine when you are through the doors.
Rooms were clean but dated, bath handrail had rust stains, limescale marks on the bath, dated shower.
No hairdryer or extra blankets although these may have been available from reception, no signage to say they were and we didn't ask. No tissues and the cheapest toilet paper you can buy, but staff were very nice and friendly. I mention all this to align expectation, with all that said I had a great stay, would definitely book stay here again.

Horrible noises at 6 am and 2 am and they say we cannot move you till morning and we have some fixes, it was a horrible horrible stay.

Generally great quality no frills rooms for the price. If I want to find an affordable room travel lodge is one of the first places I look
Northampton central
Room was on ground floor more like basement room 2 there was a smell of damp in corridor’s .Room was ok at first glance then we seen foot long cobwebs all over the ceiling broken light fittings in bathroom and no toilet brush,Marks all over the walls and stains on mattress but was covered by a mattress protector had to use all pillows very thin room was cold and damp so electric heater was put on full and the room warmed up widow was facing a white brick wall in a yard. Reception staff friendly and efficient. Booked because of the location had an event in the guild hall Giles street so only 200 metre away. I just think a little TLC is needed here it’s looking a bit tatty and tied and cleaners look up when cleaning the rooms just a feather duster would have made the world of difference and we spotted one in the cleaning cupboard as we were leaving door open and housekeeping collecting there products.
Stockley Park. Best food and service
Staff are amazing. They were very attentive. It's the best cooked food I've ever had in a Travelodge. The evening meal was amazing, well cooked and tasty.
One thing I do hate about Travelodge is though the room coffee is terrible.
Burrow in furness…
We recently stayed in the travel lodge in burrow in Furness, the room was clean and tidy but really hot kept turning the thermostat down but it kept going up 🤷🏻♀️ it’s located on an industrial site but has a beautiful view over a lake which leads me to the bad points lots of fury friends running around (rats) so couldn’t leave the window open 😞 the room key was a pain in the rear as it took a million attempts to get the door open (not good when your busting for a wee) but the staff were really friendly and couldn’t be more helpful.
Glasgow Central Travelodge
On way to room there was a smell of weed and pee in the corridor. Got into room, old and really tired. Very basic and not in great condition. Slept ok… came down for breakfast and no one was there to greet us and check we actually were to have breakfast. Not a hello from any off the staff. The guy who was wearing a white shirt (guessing the boss) was in the kitchen the whole time entire time chatting up the staff with his hands on his hips or in his pockets!!! Terrible service. Definitely won’t be back!
London Docklands…
I stayed at the London Docklands Travelodge 25 Jan and was impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel. The staff were all friendly and helpful. A great hotel if you are going to the O2.
Three times the fee taken from my account - no booking confirmation
I have tried to book with various travel lodges and on each of the attempts I have been charged either double of triple. I have not received a booking confirmation. On calling customer service ( at an extortionate rate per minute) I have been told that there is no booking, that the money will come back to my account in the next two weeks and it must be a 'glitch' - its happened now three times. I have used Travel lodge for years and I know how to book but something is seriously wrong with their booking system. I now have to wait for £333 to come back into my account and it could take up to a month - I will not be calling customer services on this occasion - I have instead raised a complain with my bank as I have been charged for a service that I have not had ( no booking was made) and also have been charged three times. I wont be booking with Travelodge again.
