Travel lodge Blackpool south shore
First time staying here and my last. Everything was as expected on arrival. We went straight out but before that asked for a travel cot. We arrived back after having food and overheard a family complain about waiting nearly two hours for food and the staff spoke to them like garbage saying you can complain but nothing I can do about the food and just had a bad attitude. I felt bad for the family. But anyway they had not added the cot. I went down again and asked, waited another 50 minutes, I went down again and told reception that my two year old was just about staying awake after his milk and isn’t safe for him to stay in our bed or the single in the room. They then brought the cot 20 minutes later. The next day for our prepaid breakfast there was nothing on the buffet, had to ask for more stuff to be put out. I don’t normally complain but wouldn’t want anyone else to have an experience like we did unless they sort it out.
Substandard room
Having stayed in a Travellodge before and had a good experience , my stay at the Stafford Central was disappointing. I was allocated a tiny room on the second floor and it was clearly in need of work. The window didn't shut ( fortunately the nights were not cold ) and the TV was tiny and square so that the picture was stretched and distorted, making it difficult to watch. It was also a garish colour and the old remote had no picture adjustment. The lino in the bathroom was peeling away from the wall. I spent two nights there and it was not pleasant.
Brilliant
From start to finish the hotel and staff took care of me, from Kasia very helpful indeed, then suzana really thoughtful and kind. Keven bubbly and mindful,And Taz always ready to help.
No sleep at all 😡
Stayed at Travel Lodge Gosport. Staff friendly and breakfast ok but please for the love of god make it so that the bathroom extractor goes off and doesn’t run all night long. Got even noisier about 3am. Did not sleep a wink. Most places have a switch to turn it off or they go off on a timer. If I’d have had a sledgehammer it would have been used to smash it.
Travel Lodge, York Central, Micklegate
We stayed at the Travel Lodge in York, Micklegate and I was so surprised by how nice it was! It was my second time staying in a Travel Lodge and I am always a bit apprehensive after reading reviews but it was brilliant. Location was perfect. Receptionist was friendly and professional. The bar was lovely and the room was spotless. Can’t fault it at all.
Crawley Travel Lodge - A Hidden Gem for a Bunch of 5 Star Reasons.
Crawley Travel Lodge - 5 Star - The hotel is immaculate - The Room was Immaculate - The food was excellent & the personel across the board in every section of the hotel were amazingly helpful, nice & could not be more friendly - Would not stay anywhere else if visiting Crawley - Thanks for a memorable & great stay.
Very small beds …
The twin room had the smallest single beds in, they were as wide as a camp beds and not much comfier, the room was a good size but as I didn’t sleep well it ruined my stay in London

Impressive Travel Lodge Aylesbury Experience
We stayed in Travel Lodge Aylesbury recently.
It is a beautiful , clean & updated boutique hotel by the Aylesbury Basin. We weren’t disappointed as we opted out another paid hotel to change to this beautiful spot.
We were impressed by the staff team who were helpful & friendly, making us feel at home as soon as we walked into the hotel. We really appreciate Allison who extends her extra hospitality to offer to mail our card out to our family in UK! The rest of the team is amazing & to name a few are Lahshmi & Cheryl .
Thanks to the team of Tavel Lodge at Aylesbury to make our stay extraordinarily pleasant, comfortable & unforgettable! Surely we will be back!
Having just spent 2 weeks at the Travel…
Having just spent 2 weeks at the Travel lodge Anchor Road in Bristol we were very impressed with the way we were treated by all the staff, one member of staff called Marie was so helpful as we had to book an extra 2 days because our daughter was recovering from open heart surgery, she was so kind and thoughtful.
A Horrible Place to Stay
I stayed at Travel Lodge Bristol City Centre and didn’t sleep a wink due to the constant noise from the guests above me. I repeatedly complained, but nothing was done. I promised I would never stay at Travel Lodge again. However was booked into Travel Lodge Kew Bridge as part of a gift package. The staff are amazing, especially the cook. But what started out as a relaxing day, relegated to a disaster. Noise, banging, shouting, slamming doors pretty much all night. Complained at the front desk. Was told other guest had complained too, but there was little they could do. Never, ever, ever again!! Fantastic rooms but the calibre of people that use these hotels, makes it an extremely bad place to stay. Truly horrible!
South Croydon- Travel lodge
I booked this room at short notice and stayed for one night. Upon arrival, I requested to see the room, and I found it had two single beds, which I wasn't happy with. However, the supervisor Deon I spoke with was brilliant—kind, helpful, and pleasant. He went above and beyond to change my room to a more comfortable setting that suited my needs better. I am very pleased and thankful for his assistance.
The new room had all the necessary facilities and products, including tea, glasses, and an iron, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I had a great experience and would be happy to return!
Chatham
I've been staying in the travel lodge at Chatham . Over the last month or so I've used this hotel quiet a lot . All the staff are fantastic lovely and friendly .. I've stayed in cheap hotels . I've stayed in expensive hotels . But for value for money and friendliness I cannot fault this place . It's a little tired and certainly not the best looking of hotels . But I loved staying
here and will gladly do so again in the future .. so Travellodge it's up to you to look after your staff as it's them that deserve the award ..
Poor web site
Trying to reserve a room with Travel Lodge is totally useless.
Just came back from Liverpool stayed in…
Just came back from Liverpool stayed in a convenient travelodge by the pier, but I found the entrance quite frightening as anyone could enter by pushing a entry button and then you have to wait for lifts to get to the rooms. Anyway the staff were so polite and friendly that nothing was any trouble for them. At breakfast they were on hand to refill anything that was less of and they always smiled. Maybe London has made me pessimistic…. but apart from the entrance the location was close to loads of museums and places to eat drink and be merry. Thank you Liverpool for cheering me up. 😁
