I purchased $US from Elizabeth Street Melb outlet today which is my second time there and the service couldn’t have been better. I also received helpful advice about using this currency in my destination.
Better rate too than other competitors.

Card not delivered within timeframe (false and misleading), no updates and no dispatch information would be provided.
Card ordered Tues 5/8/25 at 3:57am and email received advised, 'Your Currency Pass will arrive in the mail within the next 7 days' (business or calendar days is not stated). However it did not arrive until Thursday 14/8/25 being 7 business days and 9 calendar days later. In the interim I was advised it was sent, 'Priority Mail' but when I asked for a dispatch date, no such information could be provided and Aus Post was blamed (no evidence of such). However I verified with Aus Post that priority parcels are delivered within 3 - 4 business days and no one could verify any delays. Under Aust Consumer Law organisations have a legal obligation to deliver as per their specified timeframe (providing dispatch information would help this requirement instead of blaming Aus Post). In the end, it was sent from Interstate (Qld return address) but this was never advised it was coming from interstate and the company could or would not provide any evidence of any dispatch date. In the end, they made their commission, provided no dispatch evidence and I did not receive the card within the specified timeframe. Matter referred to the ACCC and Consumer Affairs Victoria.

Purchased a card in store on the Sunday & was given the details to register an account. On doing this I received an error message that the details I was entering were incorrect. On calling the support line i was advised my date of birth had been entered incorrectly at the store. I was advised this was fixed. It is now Saturday - I have attempted to register without luck numerous times and called the support line. I am assured the correct details are registered in the account. It is now Saturday & unfortunately nobody seems able to help me register my card. I can use it but have no app to transfer money, check balances etc..

Website doesn't accept NAB to reload card. Website has dead links or links that don't function.

Ordered my Yen in the morning and picked it up in the afternoon, so easy!

Super easy to order currency online then collect it from a Travel Money Oz shopfront the next (working) day. Good rate. Provided a mix of denominations. Could not fault them. Highly recommend.

Exceptional, first contact was online to locate my closest centre, Sunshine Plaza Maroochydore. I phoned ahead to ensure they would have and preferably in low denominations and spoke with Lindsay, he was so helpful, and noted when we would be coming for his colleague as it was his day off. As soon as I arrived, Kasey had the note in her hand and welcomed us and was genuinely interested in our travel plans, provided us with some tips and processed our currency. There was a line, but Kasey didn’t rush, her customer service deserves 5 stars, thank you.

I purchased foreign currency online. Received a confirmation email at 12:14pm and my money order was packed and ready to collect by 12:19pm. Fantastic stuff and a job well done.

Immediate communication once order placed, order was ready to collect far quicker than I expected and the lady in Broadway where I picked up my order was delightful.

We went to Chadstone to get out money for our overseas trip and we were served by Daniel.
He is an amazing young man who helped us with everything we needed with our travel cash card.
On our return, we were just lucky he was in that day and helped us convert euros we had left over.
He was really patient and didnt rush us in any way.

We got a good rate and the service at the counter was really good. However, we had issues with the opening hours communicated when we placed the order and when we could actually collect our order.

We ordered Online to collect from the local outlet as it promises a better rate, which was fine. However, when we were placing the order, it clearly stated that the selected outlet was open as usual on the relevant days. However, after we got the email saying that our order is ready to be collected, we got a call from the outlet saying that they'd only be open for limited hours and won't even be open on Saturday. This proved to be very inconvenient for us, as, due to work, we weren't able to make it at their 'new' times. Good thing we were not in a big hurry.

The staff at the outlet were super helpful and did what they could. However, as a company they need to be far more accurate with what they communicate to the customer at the time of placing the orders. If you don't have enough staff, make sure you handle that rather than misleading customers.
