Extremely disappointing and untrustworthy experience.
When my flight plan changed, Traveloka did not allow any refund.
Their ticket pricing is also extremely misleading. The quoted fare changed to a much higher price within just 5–10 minutes or prices came lower when I finished booking, which feels deceptive and unfair. There was no proper customer support or responsibility taken.

I strongly believe Traveloka prioritizes taking customers’ money over providing genuine service or protection. I would not recommend this platform to anyone.

This was the worst travel experience. I booked a return flight to Melbourne but decided before departure that I would stay longer. I called them to change my flight. They said they would send me a quote to reschedule. Every Traveloka quote lasts for 45minutes only, and you DO NOT know when that quote will come to your inbox.
Quote one finally arrives in when I was flying to my destination, so I missed the quote
I rang again to reschedule. It was late at night as I had just landed in a different time zone. I requested the change. I had to stay up so I didn't miss the 45 minute quote period. 2 hours later it arrived. I paid for it and accepted the quote. I got a confirmation
Next morning I awoke and the booking was cancelled as the flight price had changed. Traveloka had taken too long too book it for me??? I had to call again and go through the whole business again. I now have my flight, I'm finally flying out tonight. I just went to check in and my baggage allowance is incorrect. I have just gone into the app to manage my booking, and it said I can no longer manage by the app I have to do at airport. I'm furious as I will pay double to pay for luggage. I have just called Traveloka about this and they said quote unquote... if you go to the counter 4 hours before they can help you and you can pay there. It's a domestic flight so I will not be going 3 hours earlier than necessary . For me, never again- Traveloka is unreliable

My Dad died. They kept telling me how sorry they were to hear of my tragedy. They wouldn't refund my ticket.

Freaking scam!!! I booked through Revolut and they book with Traveloka and even I booked through MOST expensive room with view , light and big window and double bed, Traveloka only booked the twin bed room without view, without bean bags and dark. Scam!!

We were flying from Da nang to Dalat in vietnam and they cancelled our flight and rescheduled to AN EARLIER FLIGHT rather than a later one. They sent us ZERO email notice and so we arrived on time for our original flight to find our rebooked flight had already left.
Of course we had to rebook at significant time delay and massive cost and when we asked for compensation they flat out denied any claim for the new flight or to refund the cancelled one
i will never trust that shitty company again, fk traveloka i would sue if i could but im sure its somehow legal

Tried to book 4 tickets for my family to go to the funeral of a close relative. Site gave one price but when it came time to pay, the price was $1100 more than the quoted price. (Nearly double). Called customer service and the person simply couldn't be bothered to help. First and last time trying to use this website. Went to the airlines site (Jetstar) and booked the same tickets on the same flights for a little less and with no hassles.

Wish I could give this company minus five stars.

I booked a flight through them and it was an absolute disaster from start to finish. They didn’t match the airline’s luggage deal, so we were left worse off than if we’d booked direct — exactly the kind of “gotcha” you don’t expect when paying someone to organise your travel.

But the worst part? They issued the ticket with the WRONG flight time, and because of their mistake we missed the flight. No traveller should lose a flight because a booking company can’t get the most basic detail right.

If you value your time, money, or sanity, book directly with the airline and avoid this company altogether.
Extremely disappointed

Here is what I'm experiencing with several travel agencies past week: I search my flight on skyscanner. Traveloka offers a return flight from Amsterdam to BKK via Helsinki for 750€. I'm thinking awesome let's book! As soon as I get to the payment tab suddenly a pop up appears. Your price suddenly got from 2300ish to 7500ish total for 3 people. I've experienced this misleading trick also with MyTrip and Gogogate. What's wrong with these companies? Just show the real price!

Never received my ticket. Its a scam

I use Traveloka frequently and I do not recognize the negative comments of many reviewers.
Sometimes on remote destinations flights are rescheduled or cancelled, but you cannot blame Traveloka for that. They always informed me punctually and helped to find a solution.
Recently I wanted to add additional baggage (20 kg instead of 10 kg pp) on a Super Air Jet flight, the website of the airline said that excess baggage should be paid at check-in but Traveloka managed to arrange a allowance of 20 kg pp. They always react promptly on my requests. Payment process is reliable in my opinion.

Terrible customer svc. if there is flight change, they dont inform. This happened on oct'2022

Google landed me to traveloka where I was tempted with the option of $80 off in my first booking. I opted to go with the portal since this would help me manage my budget for the new year travel.
There was no option to use the voucher when payment details were to be put up. We ended up getting charged for the whole sum a day prior to arriving at the hotel. When called for help we were told the voucher is only applicable when payment type is not set to pay at the hotel (there was no option as such nor was there the option to put in the voucher code.)

It seems bit misleaging and unethical code of conduct, would not use the service in future.

Traveloka are complicit in fraud along with klarna. Basically they allowed flight tickets to be purchased over 3 months starting in March 2026, the purchases were made by virtual klarna credit cards which were set up, used and then cancelled before another card was set up and the same thing happened. In this case 4 times, these transactions were not made by myself and I did not ask anyone to make these purchases on my behalf

Support guys will never refund you anything even 15$ of vouchers even though the app is buggy and hard to understand what you are booking and in what city you are booking your experience. Highly suggest to stick to established apps

Get to the airport to find out there is a booking error between traveloka and airline. Spend an hour on the phone trying to find to find a solution, still no taking of responsibility. Terrible customer service, no accountability or interest to resolve. How can the agent say just book another flight next available flight is 4 days from now ...Forget the money, these guys don't value your time or your plans.

The flight I booked with Traveloka was cancelled and when I requested a refund they sent an email saying I had until 2300 on the 24th to respond to the email or the request would be denied as per policy. This was less than 24 hrs after I’d initiated the request and was actually received in my inbox more than an hour after the deadline. What a con and crappy business practice. I would strongly recommend against using Traveloka.

Bunch of wankers phoned me saying I needed to make a payment on behalf of on the beach for my last payment

So didn’t think and Paid 340 pounds to a company that had nothing to do with on the beach and my holiday is now canceled after paying nearly 2.2k

DO NOT EVER USE THIS PLATFORM.

A very lousy company if something happens to your booking. The airline rescheduled the origin flight timing and hence it is normal that we receive a complimentary reschedule. This was complimentary reschedule was given to us.

HOWEVER TRAVELOKA HAS A RIDICULOUS 1 HOUR TIME LIMIT FOR YOU TO ACCEPT THE AIRLINE'S CONFIRMATION. Even though you do not need to pay anything, TRAVELOKA will impose a 1 hour time limit for you to confirm your reschedule flights after they "hear back from the airline". Once you miss the 1 hour time limit, your reschedule request will be voided and you have to start all over again.

CALLING THE CALL CENTRE IS USELESS. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU HAVE A LOT OF TIME AND WANT TO KEEP MONITORING YOUR E MAIL FOR THEIR CONFIRMATION E MAIL FOR A RESCHEDULE FLIGHT.

Otherwise you better hope that nothing happens to your flight, and this is out of your control. Airlines rescheduling/ re-timing their flights is normal, but TRAVELOKA SURE KNOWS HOW TO MAKE THE RESCHEDULE EXPERIENCE MUCH WORSE BY HAVING THE RIDICULOUS 1 HOUR TIME LIMIT. I HOPE THEY GO BUST AND SHUT DOWN.
