BEWARE. THIS IS A SCAM COMPANY. The worst and dishonest company me and my family have ever dealt with. How are they still operating as a business!? Hopefully for not much longer. Do not ever book ANYTHING through them. This is a fake company. Shame on the airlines who have partnered with them. Only a matter of time before this company is wiped off. They still owe me 4,527 AED from 2020. I never ever got anything back from them even though the airline (Saudi Airlines) confirmed they refunded the full amount to this fraudulent company. Liars and thieves.

BEWARE!! BEWARE!! A total scam like all other customers stated in previous reviews. Bought my ticket from Dubai to Amsterdam pre covid, and when covid hit airlines offered a full refund or free date change (open ticket) never received anything from this crappy agency, kept calling over than 10 times with 10 emails nothing as well their reply is automated and here's their message for over than 2 years!!!: Good day,

Not trustworthy. Do not expect any service post booking, rather book through the airline website directly or trusted consultants.

TravelStart are the worst third party or company I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. They responded after 3 days saying “audio call are not possible we are only reachable via email”

A pathetic excuse of a company and for Turkish airlines to partner with these people they really need to rethink this. Shocking customer service.

I have asked countless times to be contacted regarding my booking as there is no number to reach them on and have yet to have a helpful response. Pay the extra money and fly with someone with a bit of dignity and efficiency!

This is just the WORST agency EVER. I missed a flight and just couldn't get a hold of them in any kind of way. When I'm sending emails I'm getting Auto response to call a number and when i call that number it doesn't even ho through i even hadvto book another flight ticket. I've tried contacting themfor weeks and to eventually get through to a number in India they said they will revert to me in 4 days and 2 weeks later I'm yet to receive a response. I habe 2 other friends who had an issue with Travelstart. They both booked and didn't even receive their flight tickets and as always travelstart is hard to get a hold of one had to call the airline directly and the other had to go to the airport counter.

I NEED A RESPONSE FOR MY TICKET ASAP.

I was trying to book a ticket to Zanzibar, after putting all the information and card details they claimed the amount but showed booking failed, been trying to contact them, no replay and they dont have phone number. Total scam stay away and will file police case against the company with the office address.

Give my money back! I bought 3 ticket in travelstart.ae 2019 to 2020 worth 9k aed.,but because of pandemic the airlines cancelled our flight! They informed that they will refund the money after lockdown and when the omanairlines get back on track after 24 weeks! Am sending them always email in their costumer service but they ignore me.,its been one year already i didnt recieve any refund from my ticket! And then today i recieve a payment link from travelstart that i have to pay 395 dirhams before i get 3890 from my 2 tickets and the other tickets i bought i have to pay another amount because of cancellation fee and agent fee!! Give back our money!!

The worst travel agency I have encountered in my life. They delayed my airline ticket refund application until the ticket was expired with the airline and now refuse to refund. I am currently contacting related agencies and regulators and the local press.

14 months and still waiting for a refund. The only communication I get from them is through a DM on twitter and it just keeps saying to be patient and the application is in process.They are not helpful at all and would not recommend them.

After 8 months of emails and follow-ups I finally got a full refund for my roundtrip ticket DXB- NYC. I had to pay Travelstart an extra charge of Dhs 400 to process my refund request back in July. I'm glad this issue was finally resolved.

This is the worst travel agency ever. My husband & i booked a ticket to Manila last April 24, but because of the worldwide pandemic issue our flights has been cancelled, from then onwards we never got a proper response from them. My email would be goes from one linked to another. I have a thread of emails, and has been asked about our details thousands of times, yet none of them can give us a proper answer regarding about our refund. This company acts as if they do not have a family who’s suffering from the same situation everyone is going through. Never will i ever booked a flight from here again, not even if ur rate goes down to 1dirham. Never.

I am senring email after email for oast 10 days but no response and no acknowledgement as well.
Poor customer service. Plz do not book through them.
I booked through them because got a voucher from Najm and now it seems whole money will be lost.

This company should be closed down.

I booked a flight ticket and paid extra for the flight change option. 4 days prior to my flight I requested to change the flight. This is evidenced in an email that I have since provided them with and I also tried to call days before the flight, no response. The flight was cancelled due to Covid-19.

I have now been in a thread of emails for the past 4 weeks (they take a week to respond and will often send a computerised message because they are too lazy to read my situation) trying to get them to change my flight as I had paid for this service and not yet recieved this service.

The response is 'I was a no show and the flight change extra I paid for only works if I change the flight prior to departure'.

1. I was not a no show the flight was cancelled.
2. I tried to change the flight 4 days prior departure but no one responded.

Apparently I cannot get a refund at all for the flight that was cancelled. So I am asking for them to change the flight as I requested 4 weeks ago and I just get ignored or computerised messages saying the same thing.

Why sell a flexi ticket if you do not have a service that can provide this? I have never dealt with such an incompetent travel service in my life!

They are stealing your money. Do not use!

No star should be rated though. Very horrible agency ever!! for worth 2800aed costs of air ticket bought, they will just refund 550aed! I hope your Manager and other staff wont get Corona!! I am sorry but you are all so ridiculous! you don't understand the issue at all. stelling money from people wont make you rich!!

I bought airline tickets through Travelstart for AED7100, but now the airline has canceled the flight because of Coronavirus but has said they will refund the full amount. So far, so good. The problem is that the airline cannot refund us directly, but have to refund through Travelstart who are keeping AED1200 and charging us another AED900 fee for administration fees. So we'll still be out of pocket by AED2000!

They just block the seats, then deduct their service charge. Later on the sent an email asking for the credit card copy and which must be sent in 30 minutes.
after that, the tickets not come true and they asked to raise the fare.
The booking canceled but they didn't refund the collect (Bad) service charge

I book a flight with my family and these guys have anxiety. It took them forever to send us our electronic tickets after they took the money from our account. Customer services is slam too.

I had booked a ticket for my daughter to travel from Dubai to New York return through travelstart.ae I had paid extra money for securing her luggages in case of flight delay, cancellation, lost or delayed. My daughter's onward journey was fine while she returned back to Dubai on the June 2nd through Kuwait Airways, her baggage didn't arrive with her in the same flight. Kuwait airways had provided a memo regarding the same and my daughter received her baggage almost 27 hours later disrupting her planned return to India. It was severe mental stress and we did contact travelstart.ae for compensation within 24 hours of the flight arrival though we submitted all the documents they requested. I have called them, spoken to them and have mailed all the documents to the staff in Dubai. Everytime someone picks the phone, they pretend as if they don't know anything but all the mails are their in the system. I am really frustrated to call them again and again and decided to put in the media so that entire world knows it is a cheating company and try to avoid it. Please ever avoid this website and don't repent in the future about your great loss.

Absolutely ABYSMAL so-called company to deal with. I read the other reviews posted here and had a similar experience with useless agents, being scammed and defrauded, and suffering with a case of raw nerves.
One of my flight segments was cancelled through the airline and TS never informed me about it. This started their pattern of blaming the airline which never stopped. I fixed the ticket directly with the airline in 10 minutes. I only found out about it by accident when I tried to change my return date below...
When I tried to change my return date (I have a 'flexiticket") these agents sent me around in circles for 2 weeks. Each time a different unhelpful agent (1 or 2 tried to help and the rest were hopeless) and no solutions offered to the issues raised. They actually almost issued the change request and then 4 hours later cancelled it and redirected me to the airline. This was after 10 hours of speaking with horrible agents, waiting each time 20 minutes to get through, and having most emails unanswered. Finally I had an airline Manager help me out as Travel NO start refused to do their job. They told me I have to wait until I actually fly out on the first segment and then (when all the seats are gone) try to rebook my return ticket. Useless.
They should be charged with fraud and have the worst "management" and customer service ever. No one ever responded to me after escalating my case and I am sure the calls are never recorded as otherwise some action would have been taken.
Beware - as other reviewers say - save your sanity and pay a bit more with a decent Travel Agency or deal with the airline. I have already complained to the authorities in the UAE about these scamsters. Never ever try to get anything changed from your booking or they will drive you into insanity. Horrible! Actual call centre is located in Cairo, not the UAE - just FYI although it has a UAE number.

And as an update, as of today several days later the promised"we will contact you" of course never happened...take this business off the market! They are ripping off customers.
