Process to book is rather simple…

Process to book is rather simple although the Chinese style of selling you more stuff than you need is often cumbersome. Trip's customer service at Diamond level is quite ok and they do try their best so far to help solve issues.

I would highly recommend Trip.com, it was excellent throughout booking process and flights taken, we were kept up to date with all processes throughout. We paid for additional luggage protection which was not excessive, fortunately this was not needed, whole booking and flying experience second to none.👍👍

This has been the worst platform I’ve…

This has been the worst platform I’ve ever used to book flights, based on what just happened to me.

My husband and I booked separate tickets to Bali because I needed a 20kg checked baggage allowance. We booked well in advance, but now, with only two weeks left, I suddenly received an email saying my flight had been moved to the next day. My husband’s flight, however, remained unchanged.

I contacted Trip.com, feeling extremely frustrated, as this meant we would have to travel separately. I also raised concerns about how I would manage accommodation and transport in Australia upon arrival if our flights were on different days.

The agent explained that the airline was no longer operating the flight I had originally booked, which is why it was moved to the next day. I then mentioned my husband’s booking. The agent asked for his booking number, name, and email. I felt suspicious that they might change his flight too — and right after I provided the details, he received an email saying his flight had also been changed.

What made this even more concerning was that, right after his booking was changed, I could see that a ticket was available for the original flight. This made me feel like the agent may have manually changed his booking.

It’s very unprofessional and unethical
